I've been going to this studio for more than five years. I like to draw in a sketchbook and even participated in an exhibition organized by the studio. I like that the teachers have a broad view of the world, they support all new trends in art, recommend all kinds of interesting exhibitions, broaden their horizons and open up new opportunities. There is a lot of new information around me about admission to creative universities in other countries. I asked for a contact and contacted a former student of Zebra, who is now studying design at the University of Krakow, to find out all the details of admission and study in Poland. I am currently preparing a creative portfolio for admission at Zebra. special thanks to Victoria Komarova for the preparation and information. I hope everything will work out✊🏻

I want to express my gratitude to the studio and teacher Victoria personally! Last year, my daughter was preparing to enter the Shirokov Art Institute, before that she studied at the state art school, but as it turned out, there was little sense from the art school. In Zebra, at the first lesson, they reviewed the available works of their daughter, clearly showed the problems with building perspective in her drawings and outlined a plan for where to move. Everything is clear and to the point, no unnecessary words and promises. In general, my daughter was engaged and the result was obvious even to me, a layman. I came in with good grades in the summer and felt confident, thank you.

It may be a good place for a child, but for a teenager who will take the exam, I do not recommend it.I came there to prepare for the exam, there was not much time, because I chose my profession only at the beginning of the 11th grade. What can I say, first of all, I will start with the fact that I, a person who does not know all the details, came to prepare for BSU, but no one even told me that they would not prepare me exactly there in a year (at least the preparation should be 2-3 years). They calmly took money from me and told me that I should find out what to take and go to the open day (which is usually held in winter or spring). The second moment, almost as soon as I arrived, I was given a hatching ball, and the second work was a production of 2 objects and a plaster figure. They explained to me roughly how to stroke and quickly drew some kind of diagram. When drawing the production, they didn't really explain ANYTHING to me, and if they did, it was on the fly.I had no practice in drawing shapes in perspective, according to which scheme the bodies of rotation are drawn, and even more so I did not know what light, semitone, shadow and reflex were. The teacher (Victoria Komarova)it suited me when I didn't understand how to draw a pot, I drew it by hand as I see it.Instead of sitting down and explaining to me normally on the shelves, because if she knew at least a little bit about what they hand over at admission, she had to take into account that almost everywhere they ask for an internal structure, but I couldn't even know about that.I'm already silent about the fact that after all this they gave me paints and told me that we would draw a composition in a circle…What colors?!I went to the studio for about 2 months, tried to convince myself that everything was fine, but I left because I felt some kind of negativity from the outside, and looking at these works now, I understand that they are disgusting. When I came to another studio, they immediately told me what my exam would look like and what I would have to draw on it. They began to tell on the shelves what perspective is and what it is, the laws of light and shadow and the composition of chiaroscuro, the rules of composition, the methodology of conducting still life and much more. And I worked on each of these topics in turn, did a lot of homework, and now I am quite confident in my abilities to enroll, because I came across the best teacher who is a member of the Belarusian and Eurasian Union of Artists. She immediately told me where she could prepare me in a year (or even less), and where more time was needed than they just took money from me :)So if you feel that you don't understand a lot, think about it, maybe this is not your place and don't waste your time

A great place for children who love and want to learn how to draw. Good teachers and the best administrator.
