While we were living in Chirchik, every year on May 9, my mother and I went to the Cranes. We watched the parade, then walked in a slow column to the monument to lay flowers. How many people were in the city then, not very old veterans were walking next to us. There were songs of the war years and about the war. Every year we took pictures there with my mother. Thanks to all those who built this monument and those who still cherish it! The monument is very penetrating, I believe that in the post-Soviet space it is the best one built based on the poems of Rasul Gamzatov. Cranes are associated with some of the best childhood memories.
