We celebrated our child’s birthday at Sunset. The food was excellent — flavorful dishes and an outstanding dessert. Service was smooth and pleasant. We had reserved in advance, requesting a special table by the window. While the view from our table (second row) was nice, it was surprising not to be seated right at the window, especially since that table — meant for four — was occupied by just a couple. Perhaps they were regulars. One downside: some ingredients caused noticeable bloating afterward, and it wasn’t clear what exactly triggered it. Overall — a solid choice for a special occasion, but a few details left mixed feelings.

The restaurant is on a fairly high hill, and if, like us, you decide to walk there from the embankment, I do not recommend it, the views are certainly beautiful, but it is such a pleasure to come to the restaurant out of breath. You will be met, taken to the terrace and offered an aperitif, the staff at the entrance is very polite, it is better to book tables with a view in advance on the website. The interior and atmosphere are pleasant, the audience is different and romantic dates and business dinners and family meetings. It is better to speak English or Turkish, but in any case they will try to understand you. Alcoholic drinks are delicious, alcohol-free and aesthetic in appearance. The food is very tasty: we took beef cheeks, pasta with seafood and sushi with salmon and shrimp - everything is perfect. Dessert San Sebastian is also good - but let's be objective there are places in the city center where it is better and at a lower cost. But with the service after the aperitif, they failed and forgot to bring tea and about the birthday. Later, when we turned to the waiters 3 times, they explained to us that something had happened to our waiter ( he felt unwell, and was taken to the hospital), OK - anything happens, now they will fix everything - we thought, but then the waiters forgot about us again. There were a lot of staff around, but tea was brought to us almost 20 minutes after the next reminder and another 20 minutes later the bill. About birthday greetings- do not expect anything special, dessert for the full price will be included in your bill. And, of course, no matter what, a 15% tip. If the service had matched the cost of the dinner, the estimate would have been better.

I can recommend a nice place, but I think the prices are high compared to the service offered. If I am giving this money to a meal that I can eat almost the same quality for 30 percent elsewhere, there should not be a 60 cm table next to me. I shouldn't hear them talking.
