The food is low in calories, which is understandable, but at the same time almost everything is absolutely tasteless (with the exception of pastries). The tea turns gray because of the milk. The system of settlement in cottages is unclear: women are settled with women, men with men, but anyone can be in front of the room, which is not always convenient. Overall, the impression is average, and the conditions can clearly be improved. For that kind of money, it makes sense to consider a vacation in another country.

Almost everything here is fine with me. Since the hotel positions itself as a sanatorium, it is quite understandable why it stands on the outskirts of the city. This is probably the only drawback, as it is difficult to get to shops and pharmacies. But there are local deliveries here that solve this problem easily and simply. It's a nice place, I really liked it. The staff and service are great.

Sanatorium of the Soviet era. Clear. Quietly. Meals are served 4 times a day, dietary. Nice pool. There is a store of necessary goods. A variety of treatments. But for some reason, vacationers can swim in the pool for no more than 1 hour. Very good massage therapists. But 3 sessions are free, you have to pay for the rest. The doctors are good. The staff is friendly. A good vacation for the elderly. Nice area with big fir trees. Everything is clean. There is a large parking lot.

No, I didn't like the sanatorium. Running around, queuing at the reception, not feeling cared for. We stood at the reception desk from 8 to 16 o'clock to check in. Then it turned out that there were no more rooms, it was cold in the cabins in winter, people were rushing back to change the cold rooms, which had run out, the doctors were unfriendly, and it was undesirable to send elderly people there unaccompanied. The staff is aggressive, tired, and nervous. Only the guards are adequate and funny. Food is not a diet. Just small portions. And..some are retired and disabled. Who tear up what and where they can snatch. This is not a vacation or a cure.

We were in early July 2024 at the Altyn Kargaly sanatorium hotel in Almaty. The sanatorium itself is located within the city, green, well-groomed, there are many blue fir trees, trees, roses, flowers on the territory, mountains are visible, there is a pond with fish, a swimming pool, a winter garden. Upon arrival, they put us in a detached cottage, the room is dead, the furniture is old, the bed creaks and is about to fall apart, the refrigerator, what it is, what it is not, it seems to work, but it does not cool, the TV is working. The room was cleaned every day, after 5 days the bed and towels were changed. Bottled water for 18 liters for 2 rooms is in the vestibule, it was immediately changed. Ants appeared in the room 2 days before check-out. It did not work out to use the ironing room, 2 irons for the entire sanatorium, at the reception they gave these irons to the room and then searched for 2 hours where these people were. I had to buy an iron so as not to be nervous and iron my things calmly. The dining room is called a restaurant and immediately a shock!!! For all the 9 days that we were here, all the food was served in the large hall cold and on a residual basis. The only time for dinner, when we came half an hour earlier and brazenly, we managed to eat hotter. Everything is not organized, the waiters follow each other in a circle. You beg them for food for you. (Vacationers in the full sense of the word fight for food). There wasn't a single day that someone didn't fight with them. The tea table is just tin. People are like kites on kettles, tea leaves, milk, lemons and boiling water. In other sanatoriums, all this is ALWAYS already on the tables. You will not be able to wash your clothes, there is no basin in the room, but you can do laundry in the laundry room for a fee. We didn't want to receive treatment, so we can't say anything. There is no Internet or Wi-Fi at all, but as soon as you leave the territory, everything is there. The last fat minus was promised that the doorman would come to help carry the luggage, he did not come at all, they carried suitcases and bags themselves. The sanatorium was not impressed.
