Considering that I only slept and had breakfast at the hotel, everything was fine according to the stated criteria. The staff is very polite, some speak and understand Russian perfectly. The area where the hotel is located is very close to historical attractions, close to the branch line of Marmaray, which quickly provides access to eminenu I was satisfied

Single room on the 5th floor. There was no refrigerator, it was (not working)He was standing in the hallway outside my room door. The room itself is very small, dark, and somewhat dusty, with windows facing the courtyard, and the air conditioner was working, but I couldn't turn on the TV. There wasn't even a curtain in the bathroom, the faucet was leaking, the toilet lid was poorly secured, the towels were gray, there was no soap on the day of check-in, I accidentally caught the maid and asked her to put it down. There's no kettle or glasses in the room, and I haven't seen a cooler on the floor. It was possible to pour hot water in the lobby bar (what? A plastic cup?)The breakfasts were very modest and monotonous (cereals, 2 types of olives, boiled eggs, sausage, cheese, bread, biscuits, some cookies), there was a coffee machine and a beverage machine (I tried it once - heavily diluted unidentified "juice").The only bright spot is the location of the hotel, close to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, etc.

It was in February. The staff is friendly, they clean up if you put up a sign. The breakfasts are the same, but delicious. Cool terrace. The 50/50 location is convenient because the old area is close to bus stops, attractions, minus the hilly terrain, uphill from the hill, who has problems with this — the place is not for you. The hotel is ruined, there's not much room, but it'll do for an overnight stay. And yes, it's cold in the room in February.

Unfortunately, the hotel left mixed impressions. First, about the advantages. Convenient location, close to the main attractions, but you will have to go to them uphill. The terrace of the restaurant with a beautiful view of the Marmara Sea both in the morning and in the evening. The breakfasts are meager, but you will not stay hungry. The staff is friendly and courteous. But there are also disadvantages. The rooms are small, old, dirty. The plumbing is in terrible condition. There's hair on the underwear. There is no sound insulation. The floors are washed every other day. There was only soap and shampoo in the shower. Of course, we only spent the night in the room, but we really wanted cleanliness!

I liked everything! The hotel is great!Cleanliness, polite staff (there are Russian speakers at the reception ) breakfast is normal (no porridge, coffee in the vending machine ) and the most beautiful thing is this terrace with views of the city and the sea . Good geolocation, many attractions are within walking distance , the grand bazaar is 10 minutes away, many shops and restaurants . We recommend that you come to the hotel only to spend the night and have breakfast , such an abundant city , you will just forget about the hotel ))) You will walk and visit a lot of interesting things. P.S. Let's come back here again .Thank you 🙏🏻

3 stars good. Beautiful interiors, good breakfasts. Breakfast on the 6th floor overlooking the sea. But the crumbling houses below are old. Steep stairs to the dining room. Russian Russian-speaking receptionists are good, attentive, and there are some who are NOT friendly and do not speak Russian. Plumbing is not working well, there are no kettles and dishes. The towels are grayish. Daily cleaning service. Walking uphill to transport Attractions within walking distance, Five minutes to the water, but not for swimming. There are many restaurants nearby at different prices, it's beautiful in the evening on the way to the water past the restaurants.

The hotel is clean, located in the historical district of the city, within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, near many cafes, shops and exchangers. The service is good, the breakfasts are normal, the bed linen is changed, the room is cleaned, the towels are clean. Just right for an unpretentious tourist, keep in mind that the windows may overlook the neighboring building.

A normal hotel for someone who wants to feel the atmosphere of the old town. The room is old, but the cleanliness is cozy. Beautiful lobby, attentive staff at reception. I liked starting the morning in the dining room, where there are sea views everywhere. Convenient geo location.

A small, cozy hotel. With pleasant and attentive staff. On the top floor there is an open veranda overlooking the Bosphorus, it was nice to have breakfast and admire the view. The breakfasts are standard, not very varied, but quite enough. The hotel rooms are cleaned every day.

I stayed from May 10 to May 17, 2024. The hotel is colorful, very clean, although it is clear that the old man is still😉). The staff is beyond praise. The receptionists, the young man - the receptionist, the maid, the waitress are all friendly and helpful, they will help 24/7.The location of the hotel regarding attractions and services is very successful, as it was written earlier in the previous review - full compliance. The breakfasts on the veranda are incomparable - seagulls, sea views, the temple... The waitress Bakhtigul is a very sweet and pleasant girl, she can make incomparably Turkish coffee from your coffee in a turk😍

The hotel is located near the main attractions of Istanbul. Everything is within walking distance. The room is clean, cozy, everything works. Breakfast, of course, is very light. But there are a lot of cafes and economy shops nearby. You can always take your food up to the restaurant and eat comfortably on the outdoor veranda overlooking the city. There is a restaurant town across the street. The exchanger is right under the windows.

The hotel is not bad for its 3 stars. There is a beautiful terrace on the roof of the building, with a good view of the city. It's so great after breakfast (or at night) to go out there and look at the city, a piece of the sea and, of course, seagulls and breathe..The breakfasts are quite hearty (eggs, several types of cheese, fresh vegetables, olives, sausage, jams, coffee, and sometimes sweet homemade cakes). There are plenty of canteens and cafes near the hotel, including very budget ones. The rooms, of course, are a little dark. It's quiet at night, sleeping comfortably. They change the bed and towels daily, it is very pleasant. Plumbing, of course, is a bit old, but it's working. In general, if you do not sit in the room (in Istanbul it is a sin to sit in the room), then the normal option is. The main resource of this hotel is people. Most of the staff are quite helpful people, especially Sabina, the Russian-speaking receptionist-maid. She immediately gave me a transport map of Istanbul, answered all my questions, explained what was what (in short). I had a problem in Istanbul, Sabina helped me, as a good friend, gave me a lot of time. They walked around half the city with her. I am immensely grateful to her.. I sincerely wish Sabina happiness!!! Sabine, of course, I give five stars, but the hotel (in the review) - four)

We got to this hotel on an excursion tour, we did not know in advance where they would settle! Initially, they settled in a room where water flows from the ceiling in the bathroom, the owners immediately set up an additional payment to move to a normal room (they had to pay extra). The hotel is old, the furniture is falling apart, I have never seen such an indifferent attitude towards guests, the breakfasts are meager, bread, a little slicing, boiled eggs and cereals ... everything, porridge, omelets, etc., there is nothing, the same thing every day! The only thing is a beautiful view from the terrace to the Marmara Sea. In a couple of days we had to leave for another city and upon arrival we were again accommodated in this hotel and, you will not believe it, in a room where it flows from the ceiling. I had to make a scandal, they moved me, it was good that I had to spend one night. I strongly do not recommend this hotel if you do not want to spoil your vacation! Avoid it, I have never met such unfriendly staff, old, dirty rooms, although I have been to many places! You will not find Turkish hospitality here! One plus is the good location to the Grand Bazaar bus stop.

A good three, 2 tram stops from the historical center, and you can walk. It's true to walk uphill to the bus stop, but there are shops along the way, so everything was fine. They speak a little Russian at the reception. Cleaning is done every day, towels are changed, the bed is also changed. There is a hair dryer, (weak), shampoo and soap are provided, there are disposable slippers. I found one Russian channel, but there was no time to watch it. The furniture and bathroom are not gorgeous, but everything is fine. Great view!!!!! on the terrace and in the dining room on the top floor. You can see both the sea and the church. The breakfasts are modest, monotonous, but quite normal , you can have a snack in the morning. There is a lack of baking, there is none. The visitors are different, there are also Russians. The staff is friendly. We checked in at 6 a.m., gave the keys right away, thank you very much. We were a group of 6 people, we liked everything!!!!!We were at the beginning of March 2023, we will definitely come again!

Hello! The hotel left a twofold impression. In general, everything is fine. The location is very convenient, to the main historical attractions max. 40 min walk. The staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful. The rooms are small, cramped, with poor lighting, dirty, but sooo warm, hot water 24h., view of the Marmara Sea. A pleasant restaurant, the breakfasts are always fresh, but for breakfast only Simit, bread, boiled eggs, white and yellow cheeses, delicious sausage, olives and olives, plums. butter, honey, jam, cucumbers, tomatoes, delicious tea and coffee. You can always get boiling water in the lobby. There are quite a few self-service cafes (locants) near the hotel, the dishes are delicious and always fresh at low prices. For 65 lire, you can have a full meal, portions per man.

I really wanted to walk around Istanbul. We chose a budget hotel option just to spend the night. The location of the hotel is close to the main attractions - Sultankhmet Square, mosques, Grand Bazaar. The room for three is small. 2 beds - 1 double bed. Air conditioning, TV, disposable slippers. Bed linen and towels were changed every day. Room cleaning every day. There are disadvantages- the bathroom is not in very good condition. But this is not critical. The staff is polite. A big plus of the hotel is breakfast on the roof with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet includes sausage, cheese, butter, honey, jam, eggs, cereals with milk, olives, biscuits, tea, coffee.

The only thing that pleased me about this hotel is the highway with a view of the Marmara Sea. I won't call us picky, but it's a crime to keep the rooms in this state. The breakfasts are very monotonous and meager - boiled eggs, sliced sausage, olives, cereal with milk, rolls if enough, tea, coffee from a coffee machine, the assortment has not changed. The staff is friendly.

In general, the hotel is normal, corresponds to its 3 stars)). Its only advantage is its location, proximity to the main attractions of Istanbul. But it didn't cause me any negativity), although you can find fault with everything)), starting from the room (the air conditioner worked strangely for me, and the staff only pretended to take part), to the monotonous breakfast food. But I knew where I was going and why). I think that sincerity will turn mountains)), well, as in my case. And I only slept in the room), I spent all my time in the city).

The location is excellent, 5 minutes to all the sights, the terrace is cool with a view of the roofs of the city and the Bosphorus, the rooms are cleaned every day, but the rooms themselves are terrible, it seems that bedbugs live in blankets, the room was without a window, there was nothing to breathe at all, the plumbing is all killed, the taps are greasy, it is unpleasant to touch, the towels are yellow and also as if in fat, full of unsanitary conditions, the girl at breakfast is always with a dissatisfied face, as if everyone owes her and does not even greet her. It seems like it will go to spend the night a couple of times, but we lived for a week and it was uncomfortable, even though we walked all day from morning to night.

A good Hotel for 3 stars :) no frills but comfortable. The rooms are small but functional. We live with a cat and we like it. Thanks a lot to Sabine, she is our wet nurse ( she works in a cafe on the 7th floor and prepares a delicious breakfast) and the hostess ( she comes to clean the rooms and you can also give her things to wash ) and the guide (and he will send you on a cheaper tour and tell you where to see or buy something) and just a gorgeous, kind woman who speaks Russian well. We are happy with the number 601 and we will extend it

Cozy small rooms with toilet, shower and soft beds, beautiful reception. They clean every day, the staff is smiling and helpful. There is nothing unusual in breakfast: eggs, vegetables, sausage, cheese, bread, jams, pastries, drinks, especially delicious pastries. WI-FI is free, it catches well everywhere. It is located on a busy street in the area of shops, and due to the loose fit of the window frame, all city sounds: the hum and honks of driving cars, screams of people, are perfectly audible, especially at night. But due to the location, all the main most famous sights are within walking distance, it takes 20-30 minutes to walk to Sultanahmet Square, and before that you will still meet various mosques.

The hotel is not bad, it draws three stars, the area is good, many excursions are within walking distance, but fat BUT!! They sold an excursion to the islands that does not exist with great deception!!! The tour costs 50 lira, they sold it to us for $ 45, there was no promised beach, pool, or cool rest. A very unpleasant sediment. And they do not make a refund, they throw off the responsibility from the tour operator to the reception employee and vice versa.

The maximum is a star for this level of hotel. Pros: the center of the old town is within walking distance to the sights. Minuses: the old hotel, the plumbing and furniture are very old, the plaster is falling off, the plumbing is leaking, especially the toilet (the smell in the sewer room was constantly tapping) the air conditioner has never been cleaned, respectively, and the exhaust and the smell and noise of old equipment, sockets are open and partially working. Stuck in a dirty room, cleaning consists of changing bed linen/towels and cleaning the trash can. The curtain in the bathroom was never changed or washed, it was extremely unpleasant to touch it. There are stains, dust and outright garbage on the floor. The bed linen and towel are full of holes. It is very noisy and there is no sound insulation. The staff does not speak English. Breakfast from 7-10. I came at 9 and I got bread (not the first freshness) a piece of cheese (there were 2 pieces on the whole plate) a couple of lumps of tomato and cucumber, boiled eggs (there were a lot of them and they didn't taste the first freshness either) That's all. Coffee is dissolved. The juice is also dissolved, such as zuko or yuppie. Someone wrote about delicious breakfasts. Maybe at 7 in the morning it's delicious, but at 9 it's already empty. I didn't go to breakfast anymore. In general, I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We had a vacation with our family in September of the 21st year. As soon as we arrived, we immediately realized that the area was not calm. We checked into a room with windows facing the street, hoping that we would get tired and fall asleep quickly, but no: the noise of cars was heard as if we were sleeping on the street. On day 3, we decided to change the room. We were offered a room on the 6th floor. The window does not look out onto the street, but onto some kind of service staircase inside the hotel, in general, the window looks out from nowhere. Some residents of this hotel went to promise the night on the seventh floor highway, and again prevented us from sleeping by moving chairs and talking loudly. In general, you can write for a long time, the TV did not work in the first room, the refrigerator does not work in the second, the shower leaks in each room, dust is all around. We travel a lot both in Russia and around the world, and this is the first hotel that made a negative impression on us

We have just been sold a non-existent excursion (to the Princes' Islands) for $45 at the reception. The old booklet has a full description with a tour of the islands with a Russian-speaking guide, with a sandy beach equipped with rods and towels, about 6 attractions and enticing intrigues are described). In fact, there was only a trip on a pleasure boat packed to the top by locals with children, a budget lunch on a boat (pilaf / spaghetti), where we were thrown out for 2 hours without guides. And they brought it back. People are taken there to buy souvenirs, visit cafes, support business. Upon arrival, I contacted the tour operators, It turns out That There Have Been No Such Excursions For a Long Time! ! ! A 50-lira boat trip was sold to us for $ 45 as an excursion! ! ! The audacity is off the scale ! ! ! There are 8 people who have been brazenly deceived. It looks like the whole boat was riding at our expense. But we are talking about the Grand Mark Hotel right now. About the reception. About the Sheriff's staff, Sabina. We are making a claim. That's all for now.
