In February 2023, my husband and I were in Mersin. On the advice of friends, I stayed at the Sultan Hotel. The hotel is located a little on the outskirts, but the prices here are reasonable. We paid 2,800 rubles for a room for 3 people. + breakfast. The room is clean, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle, TV, hairdryer, Internet. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The bus stop is 2 minutes away, there is a cafe nearby where you can have a snack. I advise everyone, a very decent hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. Positive: spacious room with well-placed air conditioning, spacious shower room, excellent hot water pressure in it. Nice room design, mini fridge and kettle. Comfortable beds, although there are sagging mattresses. Breakfast is good according to Turkish criteria. The staff quickly solves all issues. A double room cost us 500 lire per day. Of the neighboring hotels, the best in terms of price / quality ratio. Cons: it is located near the port in a dirty quarter, surrounded by poor Arab neighborhoods. It's a long walk to the center. There is no coffee at breakfast. There is a taxi stand nearby, a bunch of cars with scurrying drivers. I make an assessment based on the ratio of price and quality.
