Great hotel. Not 5 stars, but very stylish and pleasant. There are many old, carefully restored pieces of furniture and household items with a history in the rooms and lobby. Breakfast on the roof overlooking the Blue Mosque and Trabzon. There is a covered terrace with a fireplace and an outdoor balcony. The rooms are clean. The bed and towels are all clean, without stains. Each room has its own name and style. Of course, there are traces of time in some places, but the hotel is not new. For the money we paid, it's fine. There is shampoo, soap and shower gel in the shower. The hotel is perfectly located, in the very center of all historical movements, but in the morning and evening you need to be ready for the calls of the mullah to prayer. First from Hagia Sophia, then from the Blue Mosque. You can hear perfectly in the room even with the windows closed. The breakfast buffet is served. There is a lot of food, everything is delicious. At breakfast, you can feed the seagulls directly from your hands. In general, if you just need to live in a nice place, without five-star bells and whistles and at a good price, this hotel is the best)

Hot on the trail review, stayed at the hotel at the end of October 2025 First, about the good things The location of the hotel is top! This is not the first time I have stayed in Sultanahmet, it is very convenient here — you return to the hotel downhill, close to any type of transport, buses from the new airport (Havaist) are based in 3 minutes on foot, no transfer or taxi is needed. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby, but it's quiet enough, if you don't take into account prayer at the Blue Mosque and construction activity under the windows. Good breakfasts for three people, there is always something hot, yogurt, really delicious cheese of several types, fresh vegetables, olives, pastries. Normal coffee. Breakfasts are served on the veranda overlooking the Blue Mosque and the backyards of similar terraces of neighboring hotels. The wifi didn't work at first, but then it magically connected. There is a tiny refrigerator. Now the fly in the ointment. Guys, the Standard room category does not give you the right to use bed linen with holes and torn towels! The linen was changed (who writes about the daily change of linen – don't believe it, it's just well refilled)))), and the towels pleased the eye with the traces of a lifetime. The floor is clean, but there is a finger—thick layer of dust on the bracket that secures the headboard to the wall, as in all non-obvious places. There is mold in the bathroom, peeling plumbing, and the water in the shower stall is draining badly. The bathroom itself with a shower cabin is microscopic, and a person with a solid build will be uncomfortable. The furniture is old, just plain old, not renovated or cleaned, and it is unpleasant to use it. There are no dishes in the room, not even a toothbrush cup. The audibility is hellish, both from the street and from the neighbors. Fortunately, the neighbors were quiet. In general, everything is asking to be updated, painted, changed to new and fresh.

The only thing I can say about the hotel is that it is well located, next to the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The hotel has good breakfasts, but upon check-in we were given a terrible room with a musty and damp smell and iron beds, but we managed to give up this room and we were accommodated in a suite with a view of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The staff at the hotel is friendly, they don't speak Russian, only Turkish and a little English.

The location of the hotel is top! The view from the terrace is excellent. Quiet street, exit to the central square, 5 minutes to the tram. There is a blue mosque near Okani. Early rising for prayer). But it's not scary. The rooms are very small, relatively clean, linen is good, cleaning is done every day. The staff is friendly. They speak English. They always have Russian hints) The breakfasts were monotonous, but we ate enough for half a day.

It's a great place, a very cozy hotel, everything is steeped in antiquity, a very beautiful view of the Blue Mosque, pleasant staff, smiling and helpful people. Delicious breakfasts) Excellent transport interchange, many attractions within walking distance. When I am in Istanbul, I will definitely visit them.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of May. Such a cozy place, delicious breakfasts, helpful, kind staff. The rooms are small but atmospheric. We stayed at the hotel for a week and there were no bad moments at all. I would like to note that the hotel is located directly opposite the Blue Mosque, you will always hear everything, so if you sleep lightly, then this place is not for you, you will wake up at night from prayers.

Yes, the furniture is old , and you have to try to open the bedside table , BUT ... it 's cozy and the terrace is just space ! Drinking coffee there and looking at the sea and the Blue Mosque is a wonderful breakfast , delicious , we had enough . The only wish is to be a little more attentive to the serviceability of the toilet bowl, the watering can for the shower, the same cabinets and the air conditioner should be washed)))) but I repeat, + is much more than small - . We came to relax and not to sit in the room , everything was fine with us . Will he come back? Yes, if a hotel is not built in front of the building, which will cover the entire view ( there may be a foundation pit there soon )

The hotel is simply super in terms of price and quality. The rooms are tired, but the location of the hotel allows you to turn a blind eye to it. Breakfast on the terrace with seagulls is wonderful! Well, the view is amazing. The staff is helpful

Stay in October 2024 Upon arrival, they settled us in a nightmarish room with a ceiling black with mold in the bathroom and bedbugs. The next day, as I understand it, the owner moved us higher, the room was already bug-free, but also tired. The breakfasts are frankly so-so, in general, for the first time I met this in hotels, as the buffet breakfast may not be very good, but it can The staff was unfriendly, I didn't want to leave a tip at all, it seemed that only a Russian-speaking maid from Central Asia worked there, everyone else was too relaxed. The location of the hotel is not bad, the place is quiet, for this money, it will "go", I can't say otherwise. If I had written a review immediately upon arrival, I would have given only one star, and I wouldn't have given any stars at all, but of all the bad hotels in Istanbul, this one is probably not the worst.

A cozy hotel with a chic location right next to the Blue Mosque, decorated with a soul, a big plus is a terrace with a balcony where you can have tea around the clock, have a snack with food you brought with you, and in the morning they serve a good breakfast. It is unlikely to be suitable for lovers of modern comfort, but those who appreciate authenticity and a homely atmosphere should like it. I really liked it, the only downside is that the neighbors' movements from all sides and in the hallway are clearly audible in the room. But it didn't really bother us on our two nights. There are family rooms with three separate beds in two rooms. We were accommodated for one night in one of them for the price of a regular double room. And in general, the administrator is very loyal, he immediately agreed to the Yandex price (it was not possible to book online), although it is higher for a hotel without a Yandex discount.

I only give two stars to the young man at the reception, who helped us call a taxi in the evenings, and to the woman who served breakfast — it's clear that she really tries. But otherwise, the hotel left an extremely unpleasant impression. Apparently, the family of the owners works here, and perhaps the owners themselves, but the condition of the hotel shocked them upon check-in and further only confirmed the first impression. I understand that hotels in the old Istanbul area are located in small old buildings, but mold on the walls, leaky towels, darned bedspreads are unacceptable. When we went to ask to replace the leaky towels, we were given the same ones, only with smaller holes. And the old ones were quietly put back in the closet, apparently hoping that the next guests would "not notice" 🙈 After cleaning, they don't put water in the room, you have to go and ask for it at the reception — and they give it out from the utility room. The same thing happened with toilet paper: they either forgot to put it in, or had to ask for it separately. Breakfast is standard for small Istanbul hotels: boiled eggs, cheese, olives, some vegetables and herbs. Yes, the hotel has a really good location — next to the Blue Mosque. But saving on basic things and a complete lack of respect for the guests does not compensate for this in any way. It is definitely better to choose an option a little further away, but with normal conditions and service.

It was a wonderful vacation. We were looking for a hotel to just spend the night, regardless of the conditions. We got a full-fledged hotel, with the most wonderful emotions! First of all, I would like to highlight the staff, first of all Gulnara, who speaks Russian perfectly, and has repeatedly helped to communicate at the reception in the absence of knowledge of a foreign language., Of course, the cook who prepared delicious breakfasts and tea every morning! The night attendant at the reception was very polite, and although he was supposed to check us in at 14:00, he checked us into an empty room at 4, despite the fact that this is prohibited by their rules, and he did not require a single coin, which is very rare! 😁 The breakfasts are simply gorgeous. There is some variety every morning, but as time goes on, everything gets boring. There were always delicious cheeses (not milk-flavored gum, but good cheese), sausage, olives, olives, cucumbers and tomatoes. Different types of bread: white, toasted, whole grain, etc. There were jams and, what surprised us very much, nutella. Every day, the cook prepared some kind of main dish, sometimes a pie with cottage cheese, sometimes an omelet, sometimes a borek, and there were salads too. Of course, cereal with milk. The most delicious coffee from a simple drip coffee maker. There have always been sweet fruits. Speaking about the room, we were pleasantly impressed. It's not something luxurious, but for a hotel that a Turk positions himself in, it's a great room. Of course, the hotel itself is a bit shabby, but shabby is acceptable, and renovated in a retro style :) The room had a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque, and as of May 2025, there was a dump under the window, apparently a demolished building. There was a refrigerator in the room by the way. The sheets were always clean, the maids changed them every day!!! And finally, the location. In general, weighing all the pros and cons, it is excellent. The view is beautiful, near Sultanahmet Square, a tram stop that takes you to 60 percent of tourist destinations. In short, you can see everything on the map for yourself :) Unfortunately, there are no local shops nearby, but they would be useful. That's all :) We'll come back again!

We checked into the hotel for 4 nights. We chose more according to the location. At breakfast. A very atmospheric hotel. No frills - everything is simple, lots of different antiques, as if you came to visit your grandmother for a couple of days) The breakfasts are normal. Boiled eggs, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, 3-4 types of cheese, sausage, juices, coffee, tea, pastries, jams, nutella, apples, oranges. Make an omelet - 50 lire. The rooms are clean, parquet floors, clean bed, towels (2 bath towels, 1 for feet, 1 for hands), shampoo, shower gel, soap, toilet paper. Cleaning is daily. But the bathroom is tired, if the main room is cool and old, then the bathroom is still better if renovated))))but it was not critical for us, in the morning after breakfast we left and returned to spend the night. The staff is friendly. At departure, suitcases were left for storage before departure to the airport. Welcome 2 bottles of water upon check-in)

The old surroundings are present, good location to all significant attractions, 50 meters from the mini market. Among the disadvantages: - the rooms are very small, too small for 3 people -the sound insulation of the doors is poor, all the neighbors can be heard coming and going - the windows are not tightly closed, the noise from the street is cold in the evening - the split system is in terrible condition, covered in dust in the remote control, the batteries died last year, apparently after oxidation - mega breakfasts modest. We definitely won't come here a second time.

Definitely recommend it!) We came to this hotel for 7 days to celebrate the New Year in Istanbul!) The staff is excellent, everything is clean and the rooms are nice!) The breakfasts are very tasty, you can go to the kitchen in the evening and drink tea, make a toaster and drink coffee with honey or jam) There is always water in the cooler and they give it in bottles every day. Cafes and shops are all nearby! And a couple of steps to all the sights! If I come to Istanbul only in Turkuman!

The hotel is not big. The room is not big either. But it was enough for two of us, we left in the morning and came back only in the evening. The furniture is not new, but everything is clean. There is a shower, air conditioning. The breakfast was good, we had enough. Very good location- right in front of the Blue Mosque. But we must be prepared that there will be calls for prayer. Everything is within walking distance. The staff does not speak Russian (except for one woman), but they are very friendly.

The hotel's excellent location, the rooms are in an old style, the renovation is old, but everything is clean and the cleaning is done every day. Great view from the kitchen window (6 tables), located on the roof. Breakfast is a buffet, in the evening you can make yourself tea and admire the beautiful view. The staff is friendly and attentive.

A small but decent hotel in the heart of Istanbul on a small quiet street. Meals - only breakfast buffet, we were quite satisfied. The staff is polite and friendly. Rooms with antique furniture and clean linen. The air conditioners are working properly. The view from the upper floors is stunning and a 7-minute walk to the Blue Mosque. It is about 10 km to St. Sophia. On the opposite side from the mosques there are 2 chain supermarkets with oriental sweets and whatever you want).

A good hotel, stylized antique (mirrors, furniture, carpets). Yes, it's not new, but everything is clean and tidy. The view on the veranda deserves a separate rating of 5 points. The breakfast is delicious, buffet style. Tea can be drunk at any time, we brewed it ourselves in the evenings and admired the view on the terrace. The rooms have Russian-language channels. The staff speaks English, all issues were resolved quickly (extra blankets, paper, towels, etc.) the only drawback was that they did not figure out the air conditioner, it did not seem to work. Everything is within walking distance. A very nice hotel.

Excellent location - right behind the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art (Ibrahim Pasha House), overlooking the Hippodrome Square and the Blue Mosque. Cleanly. The plumbing is working properly. There was no need for more - we only came to spend the night in it. . The breakfasts are classic Turkish, no one died of hunger. The staff is friendly, only the girl in the cafe speaks a little Russian, but the guys at the reception speak excellent English. Overall, we are satisfied. Those who do not expect pathos and luxury are a great option, I recommend it!

Advantages: price and location. If you have come to see Istanbul and are not demanding of comfort, then this is your option. Let it be far from renovated and old furniture, but at the same time everything is clean, homemade breakfast and friendly staff. Nothing else is needed for a tourist who leaves in the morning and returns to the hotel in the evening and falls into bed without legs. View from the terrace of the blue Mosque. The mosque is a 5-minute walk away. The hop on hop off bus route also starts from it. Cons: I don't see it at this price.
