Well, it's just a delight. We didn't expect this center to be so cool. Firstly, it looks unreal, just something cosmic) secondly, there are many different exhibitions, it was really interesting for both adults and a 6-year-old child, too. There are interactive zones.
There is a cafe where you can have a snack if you want.
We went around everything in a couple of hours and were very satisfied. It was interesting 👍🏼

The museum... the museum is not bad, but I'll go straight to what impressed me the most - there is a museum of retro cars in the underground room - just a must have. Wow, cool, cool.
A museum with interesting architecture, a lot of time is devoted to the former president - Heydar Aliyev. I was also impressed by the floor with a musical instrument

A very interesting and modern Cultural Center of Heydar Aliyev (1st Secretary of the AzSSR, later President of independent Azerbaijan). Since 2003, his son Ilham Aliyev has been the current president.
The building itself is super futuristic both outside and inside.
There is a block dedicated to the history of Azerbaijan and its leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as temporary exhibitions.

Delight! You definitely need to visit. In addition to the expositions, just look at the building without corners and stay inside. A lot of light, air, a lot of space. I got to an exhibition of dolls - I can't take my eyes off, one is more interesting than the other. I'm impressed! The only thing is, it is not immediately clear where the entrance is, we wandered around, there are not enough signs. The photos from there are gorgeous!

We are very glad that we visited this center. The building itself is extraordinary-the creation of the great Zaha Hadid. And very interesting exhibitions that we were able to see here. Stained glass windows, theater dolls, folk instruments, author's carpets - where else would you see all this at once. In addition, for only 15 manats per person.
It is a pity that all the information is only in Azerbaijani and English.

The first day in the country and immediately disappointed.
The center is open until 19:00, but the ticket offices are open until 18:00, which we did not know, and the center opens only at 11:00, which turns out very little for a working day. The staff is absolutely unfriendly (or so they dislike women here), although they just wanted to ask a couple of questions. In general, it's a pity.
Be careful.

The museum is beautiful, undoubtedly (two stars for it). She took off the rest of the stars for the unfair treatment of visitors. I am half Azerbaijani, stateless, but nevertheless. I brought my student ID to get a discount, and they told me that "the price is different for foreigners," look, they say, in the price list. And the price list says "adults", which means that for adults the price is one, and for students the other. There is no separation between your own and someone else's anywhere. It's just that the cashier decided that it wouldn't be superfluous to charge me the full cost of the visit :)

A large museum complex, several floors, exhibits for such an area, of course, are not enough.
Inside, everything is white in the interior...An interesting exhibition of musical instruments, you can hear the playing of each instrument with the help of new technologies.
If we compare museums, the Hermitage is much better...more precisely, it can't even be compared.

I'll start with the cons. There are none! :) Now about the advantages.
A modern unique building with an interesting territory. There are no corners inside the building, it's phenomenal! The building is multi-storey, 7 like. There are a lot of interesting expositions inside: cars, historical photographs, carpets, clothes, dolls, models of Baku buildings, musical instruments... I don't know what else, I walked around the museum complex for 3 hours and most likely didn't see everything :) I recommend you to visit, it's worth it!

Be sure to visit the Heydar Aliyev Center when you are in Baku. It was designed in 2007 by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. If you decide to walk here, go along Shah Ismail Khatai Avenue - this is a street with new houses that have already been built. Do not go down Tabriz Street - there is a continuous construction site, fences, dubious houses, there is no sidewalk in places. The adventure is something else. On the spot, it turns out that this is a yellowish, slightly tired building, although it really has an unusual shape. It is located in a park in the middle of a residential area. If you are limited in time in Baku, this is not the place to run to. It's worth a visit if you've already seen everything and you have a lot of free time.

The Heydar Aliyev Center is the best building, a museum that must be visited when visiting Baku!
The architecture of the building outside and inside is space, Zaha Hadid has created one of her best creations.
In sunny weather, you can take a lot of beautiful photos outside and inside.
The cultural and historical space of the center is no less interesting: the history of the country, national costumes, an exhibition of carpets and dolls, miniature buildings of Azerbaijan and a lot of other things.
There is a nice and affordable cafe-restaurant.
You can spend the whole day in this center, slowly immersing yourself in expositions and space.
It must be seen once or several times, it is impossible to describe the scale and beauty.

A beautiful center, lots of interactive exhibits, perfectly integrated into the surrounding architecture and landscape. I liked the exposition of musical folk instruments. If you stand on the platform in front of each of them, the music played on this instrument sounds. Due to the directional sound, the listener can hear well, and does not interfere with others. Aliyev's cars and gifts that he received as the head of the republic are displayed in the center. Their "scope" is impressive - a crystal vase, a tea set and much more, which probably causes bewilderment among young people: in a world where some owners of resources count millions, such "cheap" gifts to the head of state from the same leaders are incomprehensible.
