Bahi Ajman Palace in the UAE. The balance is on the edge, a weak 5, and then only at a really adequate price. We continue our voyage through the Middle East and move to the Emirate of Ajman. This is one of the few hotels where I have been twice: once — a conscious choice, the second time — a coincidence and a pleasant accident. This is the case when you can try to combine beach holidays, tourist trips, sightseeing and at the same time not spend a lot of time on trips. What is the advantage of this emirate, as well as neighboring Sharjah and Um al-Quine? Very convenient location. It's close enough to drive from both Dubai Airport and Sharjah Airport. You can literally walk between the emirates. I was jogging once, and then I realized by the clock that I had run to the end of the neighboring emirate, almost to Dubai, although the entire run was 8 km. The only drawback is that the metro line only reaches the edge of Sharjah, and in order to get somewhere by metro, you still have to take a taxi. But at the same time, the most important advantage is that you are relaxing in a full-fledged beach hotel on the first coastline in the All Inclusive format. About the hotel itself: the hotel is, frankly, small, like the beach line — 100-150 meters. There is a nearby hotel on one side, and a concrete wall on the other. The hotel itself is well maintained, there's nothing to complain about, but you can't say that this is a level of luxury - just an ordinary good hotel with a beautiful lobby, a normal restaurant without frills, a small pool and a small beach area. There's not much to say about the rooms: the rooms with a balcony, sea view, and small size are just normal. Since I've been to this hotel twice, I've managed to come up with a different opinion. But during the time I was away (three years), nothing much has changed — the level of normality has been preserved. I would like to say that the hotel doesn't really shine in terms of food: a moderate number of dishes, a moderate number of drinks, everything is delicious, but I've never been able to highlight anything special. The main thing I started with was the location and format of the hotel, and also, of course, the price for which you will purchase it. Another advantage of the location is that you can go out and take a walk: there is a sea canal nearby, on the embankment of which there are restaurants where locals mostly relax. There are also a sufficient number of regular supermarkets and shops. If you want to walk a little longer, then you can walk to Sharjah in 15 minutes, where there are also beautiful embankments with restaurants. The main conclusion is that the hotel is more suitable for a combined vacation, because it will be quite difficult to spend more than seven days in this hotel without going anywhere if there is no task of just sleeping and eating. But in the combined version — when it's a day on the beach, a day on a trip — it's very suitable: yes, swim in the sea, yes, go on an excursion or somewhere else, in the same Dubai. But once again, I would like to emphasize the main thing — the price issue, because prices for this hotel are jumping a lot. I saw the price of this hotel on a flight tour as cheaper than 200,000 rubles for a week for two people on an All Inclusive, and more than 300,000 rubles. I consider these prices to be inadequate: there is no point in going to this hotel for this money. So we carefully choose, watch and enjoy our vacation.

The staff is polite, the beach is very small. The food is delicious, but the first night at the hotel turned out to be hell. I'm dreading another 6 nights. Construction/reconstruction of the embankment is underway nearby, 24/7. Several huge excavators are dismantling stones and huge boulders with buckets around the clock. If it's still tolerable during the day because of the general noise, then at night it's just hell. I was going for a relaxing vacation, but now I'm looking forward to when it's over. The price and quality don't match at all. I highly do not recommend this hotel, if you want to relax and you have a light sleep, do not believe those who write that you can not hear the construction site (maybe, of course, the embankment has just started, and it was quieter before). I took off 2 stars for this, although I wouldn't have given a single one for such a hell. I didn't sleep at all the first night. The hotel says that this is a construction site from the government and they can't do anything.

The room stock is slightly above average. Cleaning is daily. A trip to the Emirate of Dubai for entertainment takes about 50 minutes. At a cost of about 200 AED. There is a possibility of getting into a traffic jam at the entrance to Dubai and at the exit from it, the price for a taxi will increase accordingly. There are shops and souvenir shops within walking distance. Three hundred meters away there is a warehouse store Oscars grand cellar with the sale of alcohol (open in the evening). Ajman, if I'm not mistaken, is one emirate with the possibility of trading alcohol. There are currency exchange offices in the district, including rubles.

The staff is helpful, the rooms are cleaned every day, the pool is warm, there is a free shuttle service to a very beautiful shopping center, there is delicious food in the dining room, the room seemed large with a nice double bed. Minuses: 1) We were put in a room with a view of the road and the mosque. The street and the singing from the mosque at 6 a.m. could be clearly heard in the room. 2) There are no breakwaters on the beach, like the neighbors. And sometimes, when you can swim in the sea in a nearby hotel, you can't do it here. There is also a lot of plastic debris in the water. 3) During the transfer, we were not picked up from Dubai and had to get there on our own for $ 40. Before the trip, no one took care that we would not be able to find the bus back and would be left alone in a foreign country. It's very tough. If you want to go to the shopping center, go both ways, not just from the shopping center. P.S. There are two swimming pools on the territory: a children's pool and an adult pool. The beach is not big, but there are always plenty of sunbeds. The food is normal, of course there is no such variety as in Turkey, but you will not stay hungry. The fruits were melons, watermelons, grapefruit. We did not swim in the pool, as there is chlorinated water at home)) on the day of departure, we were allowed to change lunch from another day (when we went on an excursion), and we were also allowed to leave at 13:00, since the transfer was at 14:00. There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception, but I haven't met them)) I used an online translator, everything is fine. There is no animation in the hotel and that's FINE) we don't like it at all. We went on the tour from Anex, we were 100% satisfied. Clean, the staff is friendly, the beach is good, we swam only from 7 to 10 in the morning, and then went for a walk, so we hardly noticed the tides, but you can swim at low tide. The hotel is alcohol-free, but there is a good liquor store nearby. This is the hotel that I would definitely return to, a solid five. The only thing that spoiled the opinion is that the transfer bus to the Dubai Mall takes us only to a nearby hotel, and there we are transferred to a much worse bus. It was because of this that I lowered it by one star!

PROS: - proximity to the sea 10 out of 10, first line, lots of sun loungers and there are always free ones. - the beach is a pleasant white sand, warm water, it is convenient for small children to enter, the sea is very clean - a swimming pool with a hot Jacuzzi and a large one for swimming: there was enough space for everyone to swim, there is also a children's pool - you only need to take rooms with sea views, the view is beautiful (otherwise you will live with a view of a noisy construction site where heavy machinery works from 6 a.m. to 0 a.m.) - room cleaning is daily and on top! it's very clean and smells delicious everywhere in the hotel - pastries in the restaurant (very tasty buns) - cozy rooms, spacious halls on the ground floor, there are always free tables in the restaurant minuses: - Having taken breakfast and dinner, for 8 days we were tired of eating, very monotonous, Indian cuisine prevails, partly spicy dishes (rice, meat, fish) - in fact, the children had no choice at all: either pasta or buckwheat. - the absence of a children's table (it is, as if for show, with one marmite, but it has 1-2 side dishes, the same as on the common table could be taken). Breakfasts are usually: waffles / pancakes, pickles with cheeses, some vegetables, something spicy Indian (we haven't even tried it), pastries, omelets, sausages, sliced cheese and sausages. There are few fruits. Dinner - 2 types of meat, fish is always the same, there was almost no seafood (1 time we saw spaghetti with squid and shrimp, and 1 time spaghetti with them, but spicy). There is no such thing here at all. - There is no alcohol in the hotel (not even beer). There is one store, but it's a decent walk to it. - I don't really want to go out for a walk outside the hotel: the feeling that I got to India or Pakistan: dirty streets, clothes are being sewn somewhere, cars are being painted / car service stations. On the way to the exchanger and walking to the LuLu shopping center, you will encounter this. There is a gold market not far from the hotel, but the quality of the products is questionable, and the style is purely Indian. For better goods, you need to go to Sharjah or large malls, fortunately, there are many such in the UAE :) I would not give the hotel 5 stars, because the cons are decent. Such good 4 stars are quite enough. A lot of impressions from visiting the Global Village (20 km from Dubai, by taxi from the hotel to the place - about 135 dirhams) + the same amount back. But it's worth it! Fountains and Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah + observation decks. We haven't had time to visit many things yet, but we will definitely return again, only to another hotel.

The menu in the restaurant is varied, everything is delicious, fresh, in the morning fresh juices, fruits, pastries, coffee even at dinner, there was not a single hotel, but we traveled a lot. The hotel was not 100% full (the season was ending), there was no crowding and noise. The beach is small, cozy, and clean. The water is clear, but with the waves it brought a lot of garbage (bags, wrappers, even watermelons floated), and it stormed almost every day, and, of course, low tide, a very "inconvenient" phenomenon))) On the day of arrival it was +45 and the water was like soup, then the temperature dropped to a comfortable +36-38 and warm water))) There are shops nearby, a good one with sweets, and you can buy gifts. In the evening, the hall turned into a bazaar)) Because the hotel itself rents banquet halls for events. I was especially surprised how one day half of the beach was equipped with tables, a buffet was set up, a stage and sound were installed. And all evening there were Indian contests, dances and a corresponding audience! How can a tourist hotel host private events for outsiders?! This is far from being about customer orientation. It's about wanting to earn more. Because of this, all the deck chairs were shifted to the neighboring part of the beach and people were relaxing like herrings in a barrel. Just a minute, we paid for 9 days for two people - 280 thousand rubles. We want privacy and comfort! Not a passing yard. 2. The beach - it is unclear why such a steep descent! Why not level the descent so that vacationers feel comfortable? 3. Room - thank God we had a view of the city, otherwise we would have heard all the Indian corporate parties, because those who had a room with a sea view could not sleep because of this :( 4. The food is not very varied, but everything is fresh and delicious. Of the 9 days, 7 days were seafood, namely shrimp, squid. But it's always boiled, in obscure sauces. :(I don't know how you can ruin seafood like that... although there was a grill, why don't you make seafood on the grill? The lifeguards on the beach and in the pool are GREAT, I especially liked that they were watching the kids in the pool. As a person who works with children, I especially appreciated this. The guys are really working and not messing around! 9. It is better to book a transfer to Dubai 2-3 days in advance, plus the hotel that provides a transfer) 10. We took an all-inclusive package, overpaying 40 thousand rubles for lemonades 😆 It's a pity that the tour operator did not guide us on this issue. It is better to choose the full board rate, because everyone has drinks for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And for those with "all inclusive" you can take Cola, sprite and fanta 0.3 during the day. That's the whole difference) 11. Before that, we stayed at a 4* hotel in Ajman. The price difference is about 80 thousand. The conditions were much better. This is about the question of whether 5* is worth such an overpayment, when you can spend the same money on the entertainment of Dubai itself) Bottom line: we were waiting for a private luxury vacation, being guided by the fact that the hotel is small. As a result, we got the Asian market. Objectively, you can have a much better rest for this price.

We didn't forget, two days later they called and offered to look at the room (although the standard), but we stopped hearing the construction site and stayed in our room. We arrived two days later (due to family reasons, having bought new tickets) . Check-in late in the evening at the end of January, the air conditioning is on, the cold is terrible, the child wanted to sit in a hot tub, but it was a bummer (the faucet was broken, he was hitting the fountain right in his face) he couldn't get a bath. Things haven't been sorted out yet, they asked for a replacement number , the answer is not today. The next day, no one fixed anything, we were on the beach until 2 p.m. we hoped that they would fix it at that time, but in vain ... we had to solve this issue again, as a result, the crane was repaired with us for 45 minutes. The transfer announced to Dubai is not scheduled for the next day, but only the day after. A minibus (an old bus) with 16-18 seats naturally does not accommodate everyone and is generally not comfortable and unsafe. There was a normal bus with a luggage compartment (so that there was a place to put baby strollers) once, after a scandal with some people who were outraged that it was impossible to sign up . There are terrible "incense" on the floors for Europeans of an unpleasant smell (as in India in the city of the dead), the same stench in the restaurant ( more like a dining room) . I wanted to attach a "stinky melon" to the trash can by the elevator. The beach is small, narrow, and it was comforting to go to the beach of a nearby hotel. In short , I didn 't like it . Bottom line: you can go, but not for the money that we paid!!! Do not expect 5-star conditions and service.

In general, I liked the hotel, very nice staff, good beach,not bad food,daily cleaning, all the linen is snow-white, they change often.The room stock was disappointing, the room was with a sea view (paid Extra)It was very dark and cramped, in order to go out on the balcony, you had to constantly move the chair (it was one, the room was designed for 2 guests)There was no coffee table, or rather, not even a place to put it.The distances between the beds are minimal, everything is very compressed.The balcony is also very small, 2 plastic chairs that stand close to each other, there is also no table.There is no sunlight in the room ALL day, plus dark furniture and curtains.I really didn't like the pool, it's obviously too small for such a large hotel, but it's good that it's heated, this is especially true in February.By the way, it is also not illuminated by the sun, it is in the shadow of the building.Maybe it's good in the heat, but it wasn't very pleasant to get out of it!
