Dubai Mall is a great place for walking and shopping. The aquarium, the TV and the singing fountain on the background of the Burj Khalifa are just super.
By the way, prices in boutiques are reasonable.

Great places, very beautiful singing fountains , the Burj Khalifa itself to visit with VIP status ( och long queues) and this will be held everywhere except the last floor where the temple is for prayer
