The best place to walk in Baku! Primorsky Boulevard is the heart of the city and a real decoration of the capital of Azerbaijan. It stretches along the Caspian Sea for several kilometers and is ideal for leisurely walks at any time of the day. It is incredibly clean, green and well—groomed here - it feels like the city is really "breathing" by the water. Of the attractions along the boulevard are: The Baku Eye Ferris Wheel offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the sea. Little Venice is a charming complex of artificial canals where you can ride gondolas. The Carpet Museum is a building in the shape of a rolled—up carpet that is impossible to miss. The National Flag Square with one of the tallest flagpoles in the world. The boulevard is especially beautiful in the evening — the lights come on, and in the distance the "Flaming Towers" shine, reflecting in the water. Cozy cafes, fountains, benches and manicured flower beds are everywhere. The place is great for family vacations, jogging or just to sit by the Caspian Sea with a cup of coffee. Tip: be sure to come here at sunset — the views are simply magical! I definitely recommend it to everyone who will be in Baku.

What a beautiful place! I would call this place the lungs of the city!) People from all over Baku come here in the evening to walk along the embankment. There are grandmothers with ice cream on the benches, couples holding hands and with strollers, young people playing the guitar... The view is very beautiful. Amusement park. Benches, fountains, cafes. Clear. Everything is there to maintain cleanliness and order. Everything is close to this place. And little Venice, and the old town, and the mall, and the lift to the observation deck. Restaurants and cafes. I saw a drunken brawl once. Not the most Hollywood kind. But then the police came running. You can relax there at any time and not worry. I recommend it!

Beautiful embankment overlooking the Caspian Sea. It starts at Freedom Square and continues west to the Old Town and beyond. There are many greenery, observation decks, cafes and restaurants on the embankment. You can go on a pleasure boat. But it's difficult to leave by taxi, we waited a very long time.

In my opinion, the best boulevard by the sea that I have seen, but on condition that you do not walk very close to the parapet (and the sea), because suddenly you can be overtaken by terrible unpleasant smells! As we were told, it's from oil. Otherwise, it's great!!! There are a lot of greenery, flower beds, cacti, baobabs and olive trees, fountains, photo zones, sculptures (a monument to Muslim Magomayev, of course, and there are songs performed by him), views of the city and the bay, especially from the pier, tents with ice cream, drinks and all kinds of food. There are many parallel paths, the boulevard is very wide, and you can ride scooters. There are shopping malls where you can go and catch your breath in the cool air (we walked once in the afternoon, under the sun, and in the shade it was over 35!!! It's creepy!) There are also canals "like Venice", restaurants and cafes, a carpet museum in the form of a rolled-up carpet, a large shopping center in the form of a lotus flower, a Ferris wheel, a flagpole with a huge national flag, a children's amusement park, in general, an interesting place that in the evenings, after 7 p.m., is filled with crowds of tourists and Baku residents.! This is exactly the place in Baku that you should definitely visit!

Primorsky Boulevard is the hallmark of Baku and a landmark, the length of the boulevard is 25 km. Events and celebrations are held here. There are many restaurants, cafes, eateries. The park is very green with lots of different plants. Rare cacti and other rare plants were also planted on the boulevard. There are many monuments, exhibitions of photographs. Lots of options. A great place to relax.

We came to Baku for a week and that was enough time to fall in love with the city and its inhabitants.)) We were lucky with the weather, we walked along the embankment with abandon, admiring the flowers, fountains, cacti, baobabs)) I was pleased with the cleanliness of the paths, benches where you could relax in the shade of trees, and beautiful Shopping malls. The panorama is good: here you will find the Flag Square, Flaming Towers and a huge arch, the construction of which is nearing completion. But the biggest value is people! People came up to us, got to know each other, and when they found out that we were from St. Petersburg, the conversation dragged on, they offered us help, gave us advice, and made sure to leave their phone numbers. Nice to meet you)) We decided that we will definitely return in October! 🫶🏻🌷☀️

Baku impressed me! Definitely, the expectations were somewhat lower than they actually turned out to be! Friendly, polite people, always try to help and prompt. Everyone is interested in your opinion about Baku and they are proud of it. This is very cool. It was 3 days and we walked all the days. The old town was probably the most impressive. I was also pleasantly surprised by the presence of VTB ATMs in the crossings and the quiet withdrawal of cash from the mir card. I definitely recommend it!

A gorgeous Seaside boulevard with a promenade, fountains, and plenty of benches to relax on. Rare trees are planted, there is a flowerbed with majestic cacti, a small Venice with pleasure boats. A huge Ferris wheel, shopping malls, a musical fountain...In the evenings, avid chess players arrange battles...a lot of interesting things.

When you come here, you feel inexplicably happy with everything around you. What can you not see here!!! The Caspian Sea, serene and majestic, seagulls and other birds that beg near the shore. And even the green parrots fly like in the jungle! Baobabs and a cactus park, chestnuts, manicured trees of local origin, benches, small cafes, etc. A paradise, as well as Baku itself. The only thing that hurt and caused extremely negative emotions was the ugly "singing" monument to Muslim Magomayev. It's primitive, just like the idea of turning on Muslim Magomayev's songs like in a slot machine, and turning them off and on at any moment. The horror!!! I hope that in the very near future it will be removed and another one will be installed, worthy of the memory of the Great Singer of a Great country.

Recommend. I don't know how long it takes to walk along the Baku embankment from beginning to end, it seems that you can walk along it endlessly. It's very beautiful and the main thing is that there are always a lot of people in the afternoon and evening. We can have a snack. The embankment changes views from one to the other. There is a Ferris wheel and a park with baobabs and military equipment and cafes and restaurants and just a view of the Caspian Sea from different sides of the city. In general, this is the first time I've seen such an embankment along the length of the city. Usually it's just "no grass growing" in the center and beyond. There is already a port here, but the embankment is still there. I advise everyone to visit. Maybe even a day won't be enough.

A great place for a promenade at any time of the day. There is an embankment and a full-fledged boulevard surrounded by greenery on all sides, on a sunny day you can hide from the sun. Many fountains (the most beautiful one with swans near the flag)Benches are set up every 50-100 meters. There is also a small trade and several coffee shops. There is a shopping mall in the middle where you can have a bigger snack.

Very beautiful landscaped promenade. Lawns, trees, shrubs. Beautiful landscaping. It is a very pleasant place for walking both in the afternoon and in the evening. But there are few different shops with ice cream, water, popcorn and other light snacks. And there is a very big contrast between the gorgeous clean embankment and the dirty smelly sea with oil stains.

One day for inspection is quite enough. Be sure to visit the Ferris wheel in every city For the first time we rode a wheel directly over the sea. Well thought out. We also rode gondolas in Venice, reproduced in the 60s of the twentieth century. We also looked at the flame towers. We sat on the playground near the sea. There are a lot of local youth relaxing here in the evening . We also saw the old baobab.I recommend it!

The embankment made a mixed impression on itself. It was done well on a grand scale, but half is paved with paving stones, and half with tiles, and it is clear that this is a national tradition to lay tiles and shift. Wherever the tiles are in poor condition, huge paved areas are not worn down and as a result, the tiles do not hold, they walk underfoot, broken, etc. The water in the embankment is dirty, the piles of the embankment are creepy, if there is a backlight on the steps, then the ribbons hang down. At 20 o'clock, the lights of the buildings go out and the fountain goes silent. I was particularly impressed by the government building, which looked like a ghost after 20, creepy. In general, everything is beautiful from afar, up close as always. It's worth a walk, there are a lot of benches, the backlight works in the evening, there are a lot of cameras, it seems safe. See the photo....

Beautiful boulevard, fashionable to walk, lots of famous brand shops, wide. It's beautifully lit in the evening, and there aren't many people. And during Formula 1, there's a beauty in the grandstand, the car is full of people passing you and you're in the thick of it. Lots of coffee shops down the road, lots of restaurants on the right/left. So you can walk along the boulevard, you can walk along the embankment, it's nearby!

The most beautiful place in the city! Primorsky Boulevard attracts everyone who comes to Baku with its alluring view of the sea, modern buildings of unusual architecture, spaciousness, and convenience of places to relax. Here you can sit by the fountains, take a boat ride along the canal, visit shopping malls, and have a delicious dinner. I definitely advise you to take the funicular and admire the boulevard from a height. In the evening, the boulevard is especially beautiful, the lighting makes the buildings and the surface of the sea magical, and the flaming towers with their fantastic effects are perfectly visible from here.

It's a beautiful promenade, very wide, and there's plenty of room for everyone. There are a lot of benches where you can relax and sit both in the shade and in the sun. I was glad that the bins were everywhere, the only drawback was that there were not enough toilets, they needed to be searched. Well, this is not a disadvantage of this park, as it is almost everywhere in Russia and the CIS

A great place for morning jogging and evening promenade. In the evening, the old men play chess. There are a lot of police, and schoolgirls smoking electronic cigarettes were detained in front of us. There are paid toilets. The biggest drawback is that there is no descent to the water of the Caspian Sea. This is understandable - the water in the bay is stained with oil, and there are thick deposits of oil on the coastal rocks. There are few animals, only parrots create liveliness, which are taken care of here - they hang houses.

Not 5, but all 100! I do not remember such a wonderful embankment as in Baku, although I have visited southern cities. Neither Barcelona, nor Genoa, nor Sevastopol, nor even my native St. Petersburg can compare with this wonderful place of rest by the sea. Even the absence of beaches does not spoil the impression at all. However, if they were, then such a kind of swarming bodies as in Adler, Gelendzhik or Yalta would only damage Baku Boulevard. It is difficult to describe in words... You need to walk these 5-6 kilometers yourself, either the embankment, or the park, or the restaurant area, or the fountain. Everyone will mark something different. Will he eat at an open table, stand listening to the great singer at the monument to Magomayev, maybe play chess at a table with local luminaries. And when he gets tired of walking, he goes into the coolness of the "Australian" shopping center) This seaside boulevard alone is enough to fall in love with Baku, Azerbaijan! You can walk here endlessly...
