An incredibly atmospheric and historical place in the heart of the city on the way to Sulimaniye. There are several tables inside, the interior is authentic. The menu includes boza and fried chickpeas. Boza is more like an apple dessert with cinnamon, but it is made from semolina. Very tasty and unusual. The price is fixed, 60 rubles per cup. On the wall inside there is a glass from which Ataturk himself drank boza, Orhan Pamuk also came here to drink boza. In general, the place is a must-visit. The only negative is that the employees are full of indifference.

A place where it is always crowded, especially in the evening when the locals are treated to "BOSA" after dinner. A drink that has been drunk since the time of Sultan Suleiman 1. This establishment treats "Bosa" according to the original recipe of 1876, an Albanian emigrant. Ataturk, beloved and respected by Turks, came here, his personal glass is kept in plain sight behind glass. Alcohol is HARAM, but Bosa easily circumvents the ban, despite the alcohol content of 4 to 6%%. The taste of the delicate porridge is mashed, with a slight sourness similar to pomegranate. They attribute almost miraculous medicinal properties. It is necessary to try, it is good for digestion. The main thing is not to abuse and not "eat too much". The staff is always polite and friendly. We lived nearby for a week and observed a real cult of this treat.

Anyone who is either visiting Istanbul for the first time, or has already walked around the whole city, but has never visited here, I recommend visiting this unique place. You are unlikely to try this drink anywhere else. It's very cozy inside the place itself. In addition to a glass of boza, you may be offered roasted chickpeas, which can be added to the glass. I recommend trying it with and without chickpeas, because all this is quite inexpensive by the standards of modern Istanbul. If you have a flight with luggage, you can even take a bottle of this unique drink with you. I definitely recommend visiting this area and the cafe at least once.

Great place! The guide advised us to try boza, it turned out to be magical! It is a fermented wheat drink, very thick, sweet with a slight sourness, low alcohol (approximately 2%). It is very similar to custard or pudding, sprinkled with cinnamon and chickpeas. It costs 80 lire per cup. The cafe has 5 tables, it is old, atmospheric. The secret of the drink belongs to one family and is inherited. There are no people at all during the day, they searched for a long time in the evening.

Recently, in Istanbul, I discovered the legendary cafe Vefa Bozacısı (it has been operating since 1876!). Boza is a delicate dessert, like sweet applesauce, with cinnamon, not an alcoholic drink. They eat with a spoon, delicious and family-friendly! The cafe is authentic, the locals come often, they took it away. Nearby is the majestic Suleymaniye Mosque. 🌟

When I saw the queue of locals at this place in the evening, I decided to stop by too, to find out what was going on there. It turned out that they were selling some kind of light yellow liquid, dusted with cinnamon on top. A glass of this drink was not cheap enough for Russian realities - 80 liras, those about 155 liras at that time, and a liter as much as 270 liras. Having decided to buy 1 mess (cup) of a drink and tried it, I was honestly stunned by the taste. His taste is not very expressive, but very pleasant and refreshing. With a slight sourness and cinnamon is very useful there. Later, after finding out more about this drink, it turned out that this is the national Turkish cereal drink boza or buza. Recommend!

A place that fills the body with a Bosa drink according to the original recipe of 1876 (yes, just imagine: a drink that has been popular in the Ottoman Empire since the time of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent will enter your body). Atatürk, respected and beloved by Turks, came here (you can verify this by seeing his personal glass, which is kept in plain sight behind the glass). The drink itself is similar in consistency to jelly, has a sweet and sour taste reminiscent of apple pie and is served with cinnamon (optional and chickpeas). Low alcohol, about 3%, you won't even feel it. Authentic interior. A popular place among locals. A must-visit! Just imagine how many generations there have been and will be here! PS: For those who are looking for filming locations, catch one of the locations. It was here that the price of drinking a winter drink in the TV series "black love" was filmed. The drink is also considered very healthy.

I love boza! This is a historic place, even the marble tiles are worn from antiquity - and it's very cool! You wonder how many generations there were here. It is a very tasty and healthy drink, it is drunk mainly in the cold season to keep warm and support the immune system. Yes, they really often make films here, for example, "black love."

I advise you to visit Vefa Bozacisi. We happened to be passing by and the place attracted us with its authenticity. We went to see and tasted the unusual drink boza (Boza is a traditional Turkish drink made from fermented wheat). At first glance (or rather, the taste), you might think that bosa is similar to another drink, salep, but they are completely different and each has its own story and taste. You can buy a cup of Booze, as well as in a larger container to take away. There is also a homemade pomegranate sauce in the assortment. If you don't want to stand in line, come back in the evening.

This place can rightfully be considered unique, because it is here, in the only place, that you can taste bosa. Bosa is an incomparable, but very tasty drink. It resembles baby applesauce in consistency and taste, but few things compare with it in terms of benefits. Boza is served with cinnamon. Whole families come here to enjoy the amazing taste of boza and take a jar with them. Every time I come to Istanbul, I always go to the Vefa area several times just to visit this cafe. By the way, Kemal and Nihan from the famous TV series "Black Love" (Kara sevda) also enjoyed boza here.

We lived nearby and seeing large crowds of people at this place every evening, we looked in to find out what was there and did not regret it. A very tasty, authentic drink. It resembles apple or pear puree, although it has nothing in common in the composition. Very tasty. They came to eat for several days. I recommend it as an exotic. I brought it to my parents as a gift from Turkey, they really liked it.

A very colorful place with a history! A must-visit! It is unique in its traditions and atmosphere! Bosa is delicious. You can also purchase pomegranate sauce, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice from your own production. But the most important thing is the indescribable feeling and aftertaste of Istanbul's history!

An unusual drink, cool, slightly sour, very satisfying. It is better to buy the nuts opposite and add them to the drink. That's what the locals advised us. If we visit Istanbul again, we will definitely come here again. Moreover, our favorite restaurant Mato Et is located nearby.

We were walking down the street in the evening and noticed high activity near the entrance to this cafe, we went in and did not regret it. The traditional dessert boza resembles sweet Greek yogurt of high density, but with a fermented aftertaste, it is better to wash it down with hot tea or coffee. The cafe is very authentic inside and out.

Guests of the city . An interesting drink, rather thick with cinnamon tastier, cost 60 lire - a normal price, fully justified. The place itself is interesting, and chefs in suits are not something you'll find everywhere. It is very pleasant that such historical places and tastes are preserved.

It is a historical bozacı that takes its name from the district where it is located. It is a very authentic business that preserves its historical texture. It tastes like a museum inside.Bozas are very tasty. Apart from boza, vinegar is sold in sauces. In addition, if it is not necessary next to the boza, you can get leblebiyide warm from the store directly opposite.

When I come across, I fill up and take 5 lt when I pass. The place, the marble-wooden old shop, the working brothers babacan, complete the place. I buy fresh fresh from here because I want unadulterated boza. Fresh-loving, he drinks with a soft taste as soon as he takes it, a little sour-loving drinks after 3-5 days. It's not a problem that there's no place to park, either, because it's a common problem everywhere.

There are always a lot of people here, because the place is very popular and appreciated by the locals as well. The taste of the drink itself is truly unforgettable, I was advised to try it with the words "you've never tasted this." But in fact, it looks very much like a drink from a distant childhood, I don't know if anyone else has drunk it. Oatmeal with homemade kvass and sugar. The taste is almost identical, but there is still a bright taste of cinnamon in the bose.

If you haven't been to this place in Istanbul yet, be sure to visit and try the local fermented wheat drink Bosu. Sweet yogurt with cinnamon. It looks like an amateur, but even babies are fed with it. It only works in the evening. On the contrary, they also sell a local dish, cheese halva. Definitely try it too!)

Unfortunately, there is no company that does it on Bozada. Only the prices are high, the cinnamon they use is very high quality, it is not like the bad cinnamon you use at home. The smell is picked up at 50 meters. The biggest problem is the parking problem, if possible, you need to come after 11.
