If you only need to spend 1 night, then it will do. There is a parking lot behind the building, it was always possible to park the car overnight. Towels and linen are clean. The air conditioner is working well, the refrigerator is not working, there is no kettle in the room
Unfortunately, the room was cleaned only for the 4th day.
The rooms are old, they said they had made repairs, but unfortunately I did not see them.
We resettled 2 times: the first room was very smoky and as dirty as possible.
The hotel requires a good repair and replacement of the carpet, the faucet in the bathroom and the bathtub itself.
All the time there was a renovation on the 5th floor, I must say that the time was limited from 10 to 18, so it did not interfere with sleeping.

If only to spend the night, then it will go. I had to stop, because other hotels in the center were already sold out. When I came in, at first I didn't even realize that I got to the "reception". Among the advantages are the location, bottled water, slippers, bathroom accessories, clean bed linen and towels. You will not be able to wash normally, because there is no hot water, it is barely warm. Tired room stock is an understatement. They take a deposit of 5 rubles (20 thousand tenge) and if everything is OK, they return it upon departure. The elevator is a separate art form. The audibility is excellent if the windows overlook the avenue - you will not be able to sleep even with the windows closed.

When booking, we were guided by pleasant reviews on a well-known website, but this was a mistake.
On the plus side: the receptionist was warned that we would have an early check-in, and met us at 6:30 a.m. We checked in without any problems, paid 17,500 tenge for early check-in. Also, one of the advantages is that when we ran headlong from this hotel, they calmly returned the money to us. The administrators are great. The room has slippers, decent disposable soap and soap sets, two glasses and two bottles of water. There is no kettle.
Cons: dirt. Dirty carpet, dirty greasy walls, dirty bathroom. There is age-old dust, hair, stains around the bed. The furniture is all chipped. There is no light bulb in the bathroom lamp. The toilet is wobbly. The mixer is broken. The bathroom body is cracked. And there is also a killer smell of old tobacco smoke, to which the nose is not used even after a few hours of sleep in this room. At about 12 p.m., a hotel employee came into the room, shouted "people are sleeping here" and left. What was that? The hair dryer worked for exactly a minute — then it turned off and showed no signs of life.
We had an overnight flight, so we decided to sleep for a few hours at this hotel. As soon as we woke up, we immediately began to look for new housing and move out, because even the hotel "well, it's okay, we'll just come to sleep, the rest of the time in the city" hotel Iris does not pull. This hotel gave us nothing but disgust and disgust.

I checked into the Iris hotel Almaty in the morning. The flight was long and late, so I didn't choose anything for a long time. I noticed that the repair was old right away, but it happens. I was given a card, I opened the door, and from the threshold I was doused with such ambergris, as if a squad of truckers smoked in the room for a day, although a fine of 20,000 tenge was prescribed. I'm asthmatic, I immediately went downstairs to get a room change. I immediately noticed some kind of patch on the bed and some hair on the bed linen. I didn't have much energy to argue. Changed, fell down, fell asleep. I woke up to the fact that there were moans/screams in the neighboring rooms. He did not listen to this symphony, went to the city, went back to bed, noticed a bug on the bed, crushed it. I examined the bed, found the second one. I wanted to move out right away, but I was asked to stay in another room. I had a lot of things with me (overload), the payment has already been made + the time is night, I agreed. I was taken to the same smoky room that they had originally checked into. It already began to look like a mockery, I started looking for hotels nearby, meanwhile they gave me another room. I checked the bed in it, everything seemed to be OK. I went to the shower, the shower is broken. I went to bed, I looked at the ceiling, it was all scuffed because it was leaking. It looks recent. I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I was thinking about whether there were additional tenants in this bed + there was some kind of noise all night, either from the air conditioner, or from some other device. The noise is clearly exceeding the permissible norms, such as a refrigerator or a TV. In general, I couldn't sleep even with earplugs.
Problems with the constant demagnetization of room cards, someone else's hair on the bed linen in different rooms, greasy stains on the headboards, noise from a car wash or whatever is under the windows at 6 a.m., power outage and Wi-Fi at night - this looks like minor troubles against the background of bedbugs.
I don't recommend it to anyone, it's a shame for a hotel in the city center. I bet 1, if I could, I would bet less. It is not worth 1 tenge spent.
And, well, I'll probably add that during the room change after the bedbugs, when I checked the bed linen, the maid giggled cheerfully. As she explained, because the situation is strange. It's really weird for me.

Что бы переночевать , то сойдёт. Цена была приемлемая для центра. На долгое время не советую. На ресепшене девушки доброжелательные. Номера в меру чистые, но видно ,что гостиница староватая. С окон дует, кондер шумный.

Хороший отель в своем ценовом сегменте. Локация 👍. 1 звезду сняла за выпрашивание халата (после звонка на ресепшн ждала 3 часа, позже напомнила о себе и через час получила таки его от недовольной горничной), которая сообщила мне что у нее много работы и некогда ей🤦♀️😅, ну и мыльно-рыльные периодически выпрашивали. А да, завтрак не входит. За 5 дней проживания номер ни разу не убрали. Но т.к. мы в номере в основном ночевали только и в городе аншлаг с туристами, то это было совсем не критично

Удобное расположение. Работники стараются угодить. Имеется парковка сзади, как оказалось платная. Контингент в основном молодой и учётом того, что стены и двери тонкие, вы будете слышать секс всю ночь (днём тоже), а если вы сами решите поехать с девушкой до уединения, то и вас будет слышно:) Порой могу поаплодировать с соседней комнаты:)) Но в целом если не брать момент со стенами, отель подойдёт для быстрого ночлега после мероприятия, но чтобы долго там задерживаться, не советую !
На декабрь 2021 халаты явно требуют полной замены, ну прям очень состарились. В остальном это отель больше, как мотель в центре.
Внизу имеется «мята» бар и караоке.

Из минусов: В номерах нет кондиционера. Полотенце все застиранные и в дырках😱 Пора уже обновить белье постельное. Номер стоит 25000 тенге, но он того не стоит. Администратор казашка, имя забыла, грубая ))) Разговаривает с гостями надменно. Горячая вода подается только по вечерам. Днем только холодная.
Плюсы: Удобная локация, есть балкон, внизу кофе аппарат, правда не работает))
Интернет есть, широкая удобная кровать с хорошим матрасом. На этом плюсы заканчиваются

раньше внизу был неплохой ресторан Балкон. сейчас Мята, но из гостиницы туда невозможно спуститься.
завтраки на последнем этаже. не очень разнообразные.
почему-то с каждым годом гостей все меньше и меньше.

Неплохой отель в старом центре города, из плюсов расположение, все необходимое рядом. Из минусов не открываются двери на балкон.

Хороший отель, но очень тонкие стены. Слышно как в соседних номерах разговаривают. Не советую брать крайние номера у лифта, плохой запах из шахты лифта заходит через вентиляцию. Номера с видом на ул. Назарбаева очень шумные из-за звуков проезжающего транспорта. Из плюсов хороший завтрак, чистые и комфортные номера.
