The hotel is reminds old soviet style. Furniture, shelves, beds, the building itself is soviet style building. View from rooms are good. It was located near Old City. That's the biggest advantage. And beds are super comfy. Breakfast is pretty basic, not many choices. But price is affordable.

Yes, the hotel is Soviet, but that doesn't mean it's bad. The rooms are large, warm, and have good windows! For hotels in the old town, a window is a luxury! A very comfortable bed- wide, medium-hard, clean and white linen! There are no interruptions with water, good pressure! All these advantages of the Bukhara hotel, which are not found in hotels in the Old City! Luby House is a 13-15 minute walk away. Excellent staff, working around the clock, always ready to help! The ichthyor at the reception is a professional employee, very friendly and competent. The breakfasts are decent, the food is plentiful. The hotel is quiet, we slept well, although the check-in is complete, there are no available rooms. Yes, the hotel needs renovation, but its advantage is affordable prices!

Nice hotel. Former intourist. You can walk to the old town in 10-15 minutes. However, breakfast is quite weak. Slicing 2 types of sausages, almost the same amount of cheese. We stayed at the Grand Bukhara Hotel back in September 2024. We read some reviews and were surprised, as if we were talking about different hotels. Yes, it was built a long time ago, back in Soviet times, but with a good repair. There are some disadvantages, but there are much more advantages. An important advantage is its location. It is located in the very center of Bukhara. Near the old and new towns. We stayed in a large, clean and cozy room with a beautiful view of the old town. A big plus of the hotel is good noise insulation and privacy. There were no neighbors, and no sounds from the hallway. 2-room rooms with 2 bathrooms - Soviet standards of good hotels 😊👍 The hotel staff is qualified, friendly, attentive 🙏😌 Many thanks to the guys at the reception. There was no issue that could not be resolved, and promptly and with interest. Only good impressions remained from communicating with them. The hotel is stuck in Soviet times, rooms with broken Soviet furniture, terrible arrangement and disgusting interior. The room had a dirty wall filled with something, bed linen with holes and a tattered dirty carpet and a non-working shower. Of the 3 elevators in the hotel, only 1 worked, and even that sometimes stopped working and got stuck, the stairwell looks more like a high-rise from the 90s than one of the best hotels in the city. We should also mention the disgusting breakfasts. Despite the buffet system, literally 5-6 positions were offered, 3 of which were porridge, no bread, no cheese, no milk. Yes, in modern times, any hostel in Uzbekistan will give 100 points ahead to this misunderstanding! The only modern thing there is a coil in the bathroom. Everything else has not changed since the construction of this "hotel". I can safely assume that these are the 60-70 years. All the furniture is padded, there is only one socket in the bedroom, hidden behind the table. But wow, there are about five of them hidden behind the bedside table in the next dressing room. Is this a joke? No wonder you hide this electrician's nightmare behind a large bedside table too! Where is my normal bedside table??? Cleanliness? Don't make me laugh. Sheets with streaks and, excuse me, pubic hair. Do you change your underwear at all? Dried chirkashi in the toilet (see photo) Room service? Some cheeky lady from room service will simply ignore your requests, and then if she pays attention to you, your request is unlikely to be partially fulfilled! Moving on! Wait, did someone say a good breakfast? The only vegetable oil you'll find in the dining room is vegetable oil in overcooked eggs! 0 vegetables, 0 fruits, and no, we haven't come to a head-to-head analysis. There was an hour left before the end of breakfast, and during the time that we gave breakfast a chance, the assortment was not updated (there was not even a hint of salads or vegetables, not even a stale lemon). There is no coffee machine, the milk is sour, there is not even instant coffee. The appliances are dirty, and there are few dishes. I remember some kind of jelly on the trays with different colors. Is that even a pity I didn't take a picture of this game! There is no food, but gelatin with sugar and dye is a must have for breakfast! Those people who are responsible for breakfast at this hotel are perverts! They serve all this charm from 07:00 to 09:00. What the fuck? Like you don't have to worry about the quality of breakfast if no one can get up for it? Maybe enough negativity, but no, the smell in the hotel: the stink on the floors with a 50-year-old infusion, and, you know, I quickly found the source of the smell. The carpet in the corridors is being vacuumed, and it looks clean, red as October, but it smells like a pensioner's closet! I think they wash it right like that, with rags on top, because I noticed that it's wet in places and it stinks from it! That's it now! I would scrap or anathematize the entire hotel with staff and owners!
