Dirty rooms, no heating, lights doesnt work. Got stuck in 1980 and nothing maintained or changed since then. It cannot be a 4 star hotel, guest houses on villages in Kz are way better equipped and cleaner. And on top, the reception seems like forced to work there and are not paid, or you as a customer staying there for free.

I personally liked the hotel. Everything was fine: cleaning, towel change, breakfast is available, a certificate on request for registration was given. The water is hot, the view of the mountains from the room was given upon our request. Well, the slightly outdated style of rooms is not scary for me. The room is clean and renovated. There is a bathroom. The air conditioner is noisy. We were opening the balcony. But the price/quality is good. There is a cooler and a microwave on the floor. The refrigerator in the room is working so you can't hear it. We lived in a standard room. There are toiletries. There is a balcony. The linen and towels are clean and of good quality. Well done! The hotel is very large and even somewhat pompous. But it's clear that it's been old since Soviet times. There are more advantages.

For a non-demanding guest, the best option is for price and quality. The rooms are old, with Soviet furniture, but of high quality. Everything works in the bathroom, but hot water sometimes "walks" in temperature - you can burn something while using the shower. Towels are clean, there is a minimum in the bathroom. The refrigerator is a bit noisy, the TV is still with CRT, but it works fine. The air conditioner is a built-in window, I did not use it, because it was no longer hot. Very nice breakfast room. Tomorrow I'll take 4 tanks - the choice is small, but everything is of good quality, you can "refuel" for half a day. The location is very convenient, close to the Park, metro, many cafes and a variety of purse.

We arrived early in the morning. The girl at the reception arranged early check-in with breakfast (buffet) without any problems, connected us to the hotel Wi-Fi. Room, bathroom, bed linen, towels - everything is clean. From the window there is a view of the park, the mountains. The air conditioner is working, the TV wasn't turned on, because I don't watch TV at home either, we want to get some sleep. So far, everything is fine, reality meets expectations, and then we'll see.

Excellent hotel, almost in the very center of Almaty. Very comfortable room, with everything you need. There is a refrigerator, TV and YouTube, in the lobby on the floor there is a cooler with cold and warm water. The breakfasts are very hearty, the buffet, the restaurant itself is stately and large. The lobby of the hotel is pleasant, but without frills. Highly recommend it!

I lived here from October 5th to October 13th. Among the advantages, a varied breakfast, you can always find something to eat, even for the most fastidious. The hotel has an elevator. There is a safe and refrigerator in the room. Soap pads, paste and brush are regularly updated. That's all with the advantages. Cons - in cold weather, the draft will somehow keep the doors open. It's impossible to wash properly in the shower, the water is boiling or hot - and it's in the same position)) The air conditioner is embedded in the windows, the scoreboard is +30 at the exit in the Real world, it's blowing cold)))

The rooms are clean, but the furniture is still from Soviet times. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is very beautiful. I really liked the restaurant, inside, like in a yurt, the food is delicious and varied. I liked everything and the price is reasonable!!!

In general, expectations converge, when you arrive, you teleport back many years. pluses Excellent location of the hotel The room is clean enough Quite decent breakfasts Wifi works well Polite girls at the reception minuses The noise starts from 8-9 am There is something similar to cleaning in the room, it was done only on the 4th day In my room, to turn on the hot water, I had to turn on two taps so that the water would run There is no tea/water in the room, there is a cooler in the hallway, but there is no container except a glass to collect water

Due to the flight delay, flu arystan accommodated us at the Otrar Hotel. Clean, cozy, friendly staff. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast : buffet . Fruits, juices, tea, coffee, slicing, porridge, etc. Are small, but the choice is for every taste. Lunch, dinner - I will not say that it is very tasty - usually, but you can eat. The overall impression is good. The location is convenient: near the park, Almaty Arbat, green market, theater and other interesting places for walking and relaxing. I recommend.

For us grandfathers, this hotel is wonderful. This is how hotels used to be for bosses in our youth. Such a heavy Soviet suite. Feel like a guest of the Council of Ministers. Mahogany and crystal chandeliers. But the breakfast here is better than in any other hotel in Almaty.

The room stock is old: the carpet is stained, the furniture is placed randomly around the room, the bed is short and low, the pillow is one There are only two sockets in the room, one directly above the head by the bed, the plug falls out of the second, nothing can be charged. For some reason, an empty refrigerator is turned on, which buzzes all night. The bathroom is old, the hot water was only in the evening after 10-15 minutes of waiting. There is no drinking or tea set in the room. Cleaning was not carried out for 2 days of stay, the shower gel was not replenished. The breakfasts are average. There are no 4 stars even nearby.

I lived in this hotel for the first days of my stay in Alma Ata. Thank you, my dears, for the reception! For delicious breakfasts! For an iron with ironing board! For helping me fasten my dress to work! For your good nature and attitude! I'll never forget it. The hotel is located in an ideal location! Opposite is the 28 Panfilovtsev Park with the eternal flame and the om monument! These people in Khimki near Moscow defended the city from fascist dishonor! It's a premium street with boutiques and restaurants, everything is there!

Overall, a good hotel, clean, quiet. it hovered somewhere in the period about 20 years ago. The keys to the room with a bomb, as I saw it, I almost shed tears)) It is in urgent need of updating. Not only physically, but also mentally. At breakfast, instead of a coffee machine, there is a can of instant coffee. There are clearly not enough spoons for dishes (so that the sausages would not be in the sauce from the chicken. This is information for the staff). Nothing extra works, coffee, beer - there is nowhere to buy at the hotel. I lived on the 2nd floor, where according to the plan there should be a night bar, but, alas, it does not work. The location is central. It is convenient to walk to all places. You can stop, of course. But I would like more modern services). I hope you will improve!

The hotel from the old, still Soviet foundation, is the coolest in all times! Now, of course, she is far from ultra-modern business hotels, but everything is very decent, clean, the linen is new, the repairman in the rooms is fresh, the restaurant at the hotel is open. But the most important trump card is its location - the old center, the park opposite, good transport accessibility. Overall solid 4

The hotel is good, everything is "at hand": transport, a kiosk with travel cards, a currency exchange office, friendly reception staff, a buffet, but in 3 days the room has never been cleaned (at least the garbage) and it's hard to get in touch (roaming calls are very expensive), I accidentally stumbled upon WhatsApp through 2gis.

A very old, dusty hotel. The room was very dusty, and they didn't even go in to clean up the trash for the 2nd day. There is no water bottle in the room. I didn't find a water cooler on the floor. There is only one glass in the room, and there is no kettle or cups. The toilet slammed shut at night, I had to go to the reception to open it. The breakfast is bad. Instant coffee!!! If possible, it is better to choose another hotel.

The whole hotel takes you back to the bygone era of the USSR, the rooms are clean, starting from the hair dryer and ending with the door lock - everything from the last century. And there is a smell of some kind of mustiness , breakfast - for a person with a two-week business trip - it's really boring to eat only eggs and sausages every day, you either need to turn off the refrigerator or the TV in the room - there are a lot of small sconces, but the trouble is with the sockets, the phone rang far from the crib - you need to get up and go, there are household appliances a room where you can iron things - but the steam button on the iron doesn't work - and the water just flutters in it, by the way, you can get tefal cups in the same room , there's a good Soviet Saratov refrigerator , it's not clear why it's there at all , the hairdryer didn't work properly - it turns off automatically after 1 minute ( it turns out the system is set up like this - no electricity is supplied when overheating) and my hair is thick, though of medium length - it will turn on in about 4 minutes. Although the linen is clean and not yellowed, it pleases. The girls at the reception are friendly, and the elevator is modern. That's all, by the way, I felt the hot water - it's always barely warm, the TV is also pot-bellied, an old Panasonic - at least listen to music- But no, it didn't work, but the worst thing is the persistent smell in the room - in the old house, as if an unwashed person had lived for a year- this smell in the whole hotel.. at the same time, a day is $ 65- I think it's unreasonable to pay such a price just because of the location, while I often visit Almaty and know the average prices for hotels, Wi-fi is a separate topic - get ready that the signal is unstable, and communication will often be lost.. in general, I have everything.

It's a very old hotel, everything is ancient. Even the TV from the 90s. The feeling of dust all the time. There are no bottles of water in the room, there is 1 wounded glass. A key with a key ring. The bathroom closed this morning and I couldn't get in. I had to go to the reception, they came with me and were able to open it. I'm holding the door open now. There are 3 breakfasts, instant coffee only. If possible, it is better to choose another hotel.

The hotel has a very good location and a view of the park from the window. It's cozy in its own way, and the old hotels have some charm - keys instead of magnetic cards, and the furniture is lacquered. The only thing is that the air conditioner is running noisily There is no photo, I will add a video from the balcony)

The room is dirty, the staff can enter the room without knocking, the air conditioner was built in 2007, there are no mosquito nets, there is garbage from past visitors in the trash can, it is better not to close the bathroom door (the lock is wedged). That's why the tea is hot.

It's a very dirty, old hotel. The rooms have a feeling that the carpet has not been vacuumed for several years, there is a centimeter layer of dust in the ceiling lights, dirt and rust in the bathroom and toilet. And terrible cherished breakfasts, it felt like the sausage and cheese were already plowing. I highly do not recommend it, the only positive thing is the friendly staff.

Positive: There are always rooms; Nice and comfortable bed; Pleasant staff; Convenient location; Breakfast; Minuses: Old furniture that hasn't been updated for probably 10 years; Plumbing and bathroom well, it does not pull to the level of the stars of this hotel; Rooms are rarely cleaned;

I don't know why, the initial review was rejected, apparently because of the mate))) It's difficult here without him… The room was provided to us by Airastana due to flight delays, meaning it was free. It seems like it's bad to be indignant, but… If you suddenly consider this hotel for your money, choose something else, any other :). Well, or you want to be in the 90s. The hotel is as ancient as, in short, as if you are at your grandmother's in the village. Repairs in the default rooms apparently haven't been done for a soooo long time. The room seems to be clean, but it doesn't seem to be. The only pleasant thing there is the staff. You can give not one, but two stars for this. The breakfast was normal. If we compare, the hotel in the Tashkent region was even better. The only big plus of all this is the location and the building itself in terms of architecture.

A good Soviet hotel (former Intourist) - everything is soundly and soundly created, can still be considered 4+ stars: halls, sofas, dining room - all on a grand scale. The dome of the dining room is like a yurt, all decorated and covered with rich carpets. Quiet, calm, polite staff, a place in the center near the park is just super! Everything is in good working condition. For those who remember and appreciate the USSR, it is especially pleasant that the national heritage has been preserved. In general, in Alma-Ata, kind people are very careful about everything.

I think it's expensive for such a room. It says that breakfast is included, there was no breakfast, no questions were answered, and plus, while I was still sleeping in the morning, they tried to enter my room without knocking, without warning, and without permission.. they already opened the door with their key, well, I additionally secured it from above, But as you know, they would have opened it calmly And entered, perhaps the thieves might have tried to steal something... They came into my room without permission, without warning , without even knocking ... Well, I was there...
