The largest urban park, created in the eighteenth century, the garden is located in Munich, but it is called English in honor of the English landscape style and surpasses the London Park in area. It is also interesting that on the territory of the English garden there is a Chinese tower, a Japanese tea house, sakura grows and this is in Germany. Of course, you can't do without beer gardens, the beer is delicious. In the garden there are several rivers with waterfalls, where surfers frolic, ducks swim, geese and swans. Here you can walk, ride, bike, have picnics, fish. You can even sunbathe in a specially designated area.

The Englischer Garten in Munich is a giant oasis of nature right in the city center. Its territory is so huge that you can't walk around it in a day, but this makes it an ideal place for walking, jogging and cycling. What I particularly liked: A variety of activities — you can rent a bike, have a picnic, run through the alleys or just lie on the grass with a book. Lake — there is a picturesque pond where catamarans ride in summer, and in winter, if you're lucky, it freezes. Infrastructure — there are many cozy cafes and pubs in the park (this is Bavaria!), where you can have a snack and drink fresh beer. The atmosphere is always full of life here: tourists, locals, runners, surfers (yes, there is even an artificial wave for surfing in the park!). If you want to see all the fun, but are not ready for long walks, take a bike. In summer, it's better to come in the morning or evening — it can be crowded during the day. Be sure to visit the Chinesischer Turm, which is a symbol of the park and a great place to relax. Here you can spend the whole day enjoying nature, outdoor activities and Bavarian hospitality.
