A truly impressive and dignified site. The architecture is monumental, and the atmosphere respectful and serene. A must-visit for anyone coming to Ankara – both for the historical importance and the emotional impact. Everything is well maintained, and the museum inside offers deep insight into Atatürk’s life and legacy

Very interesting place to visit. It’s “immerse” you in to history of almost 100 years ago to the times of war for independence of Turkey.

Very monumental. Everything is in stone, marble, travertine, granite. It is located on a hilltop with a magnificent view of the city. The history and biography of Ata Turk and his closest associates, the "living illustration" of military battles is amazing. Made with love. No expense was spared. Well done Turkish brothers

The mausoleum of Turkey's national hero Ataturk is one of the must-see places in Ankara. Admission is free, but a thorough search takes place at the entrance to the territory: if you are in a car, then get ready to take absolutely all the bags out of the car and take them to the inspection point on the scanning tape, and then return with the bags to the car. The passengers themselves are also being screened. The territory is very well maintained, the mausoleum is quite monumental. It is better to visit before lunch, as the area is very hot in summer, and in the evening the visiting facilities close early, so if you arrive at 5 p.m., you simply won't have time to see everything.

A large-scale facility in the Turkish capital. Who will be in Ankara is a must-see. It is better to go to the opening at 9 a.m. - the ceremonial laying of a wreath, changing of the guard and the anthem, while there are few people.

Yes. Undoubtedly, the place is worth it. Much has been written on the Internet. Cool divorce of the guard. Interesting exhibits of the museum are available for free. There is an inconvenience. Security at the entrance and if by car, they look straight seriously. It's easier to walk. But everything is solved.

A great place for the people of Turkey. We were met by multi-meter queues from the local population. It's incredible that all this was built in honor of one person. Also, the entrance is free everywhere! The queue moved quickly, 40 people were running at once, but there is little shady place and, if you are unlucky, you will roast in the summer in the sun. And so, the museum itself is very cool, all aspects of the main character's life are touched upon and demonstrated in the museum. A very large collection of books was simply amazing in its diversity. It was also interesting to look at retro items for shaving, haircuts, and applying perfume. There is a separate entrance to the mausoleum, and it looks incredibly epic. There are also stone lions and a changing of the guard on the territory. The changing of the guard was not very impressive, but the steadfastness of these men, who stand in helmets throughout the territory, is amazing

A large-scale structure, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, is a must-visit in Ankara. Firstly, it is very beautiful, and secondly, there are very beautiful views of the city from a height. As a bonus, it's very unusual to see the changing of the guard.

*Anitkabir is a majestic symbol of Turkey and a tribute to Ataturk** My trip to Turkey would not have been complete without visiting the Anitkabir Mausoleum in Ankara. This grandiose complex dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish Republic, left an indelible impression on me. It impresses with its scale, architecture and deep historical significance.

If you are in Ankara even for 1 day, be sure to come here! The place is worth it to come to the capital of Turkey even for the sake of him alone. Personally, I am Delighted! I have never seen anything like this anywhere, so that this was created in memory of just one person. Very powerful!!! Admission is free for everyone. Works from 9 to 17...lay at least a couple of hours...it took me 3 hours to watch all this miracle.

Be sure to visit this place, of course, an ordinary mausoleum, but I really liked the museum, where everything inside was connected with Ataturk. It is advisable to come on weekdays. We got on November 11 after the Ataturk Memorial Day, there were a lot of people. They waited in line for a very long time while they came in, then for some reason they waited inside until they came out. If it had been organized differently, there would hardly have been a queue even at the museum. Admission is free to the museum too

I thought it was bigger, but it's not. There should be no alcohol in your car when you enter. The change of guard of the soldiers should be strictly monitored. The atmosphere of the place where the grave is is very different.

You go and compare it with our mausoleum. It's worth going, plan for three hours. The uniforms on the soldiers are kind of cartoon and there are no words about the Armenian Genocide.

This place is a must-visit if you are in Ankara. A powerful place, good energy. You can see the changing of the guard. It's very interesting to see. It's just that they scream strangely, (to me) it's not natural. It left unpleasant feelings. Everything else is great, an interesting museum. There is a cafeteria on site. At the entrance to the territory, they will be asked to leave large backpacks, there is a luggage storage.

If you are in Ankara or nearby, be sure to visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the first president of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal, the father of the people. For some reason, I really wanted to go there. Interestingly, the whole complex is free and you can drive very close by car. You can take a guide inexpensively, but in general you can walk for free, they even speak a little English at the ticket office. A very pleasant place, lots of space and beautiful. After that, I became interested in the biography of the father of the people and read how much he had done for the nation.
