Everything was perfect. We had dinner here several times and everything we tried was extremely good. Traditional turkish food. The prices are really low but don't be afraid of it. The staff is also good. They're friendly and can speak English and Russian very well. They never tried to trick us. You should definitely visit this place. To be honest, I think it was one of the best places in Istanbul where we had a meal. You can also buy food to go and pay in euros and there's free Wi-fi We were here in October 2024.

Overall, I liked it. The meat is fat and satisfying. The portions are good and large. Prices are slightly below average in the center, and tips are not included in the bill by default. The desserts are delicious (I tried the cunef). Tea was served for free, and tortillas with sauce. It's a little messy, a little dirty in places, and the entrance is through the dining room, but I won't lower my rating for other locations.

It's a very popular place. Fast waiters. We came at different times and there was always a place for us, well, a maximum of 5 minutes of waiting. The kitchen is on the ground floor, the dining rooms are on the 2,3,4 floors, imagine how the guys run all day. According to the cuisine, the menu contains photos and the name of the dish in English, Russian and Turkish. For two people, the average check was 800-1000 lire, if not too expensive. Meat dishes with a peculiar taste, for an amateur, or for 1-2 times to try. My wife didn't get it, she switched to chicken dishes. The neighboring restaurants are empty, but this one is packed.

It's an amazing place! The staff speaks Russian partially (some very well). The portions are large, tasty and NOT expensive. The desserts are delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. Smokers can sit on the terrace (it is allowed there). We were both on the 2nd floor and on the terrace.

Iskander - meat on pita bread with yogurt... There was no pita bread at the bottom, the meat was sliced for show, the French fries were softened, and half a plate was full of yogurt. 4. Sea bass is excellent, fresh, well fried, not over-dried. 5. Tea and bread are also fine. As a result, 2 points and a wish - look for a better place to eat!!!

We ate too much together. The chicken soup is very rich and thick, and there is a lot of meat. On February 5, 2025, two chicken soups, doner, beef kebab, a jar of fanta and green tea cost 950 lira. At the end of the meal, a cup of tea is brought to each guest as a gift! Very polite staff, fast service. I recommend it if you want to have a hearty and inexpensive meal.

And when we asked where in Istanbul to eat delicious and inexpensive food in the center, we found out the answer here. This restaurant is Ortaklar Kebab. It is located within walking distance from Sultanahmet Square. Making sure that a popular place is easy. There are always a lot of people here. Personally, I like the idea of decorating the table - on each table, under glass, there are banknotes from different countries - from rubles to fideage, the inscriptions on the banknotes are very different - from 'Andrew + Masha' to 'Vasya was here'. Now about the kitchen - we visited Ortaklar Kebab twice - on the first day I ate too much, and I also had to take the food with me.
