The large Ferris wheel also works in winter. In summer, there is a great park with children's attractions. On the 2nd night, I woke up to the sound of the door opening - I didn't understand anything. After that, at 7 a.m., they arrange a wake-up call from the reception, clarifying that I did not check out. I went to figure it out - it turns out that one of the employees managed to put a mark that I left at night (respectively, the maid came in at night). To be honest, for me it's a game that ruined the whole impression. Naturally, I didn't get enough sleep as a result. Before that, a friend told me that he asked twice to bring a heater to his room - and did not wait (about a week before my arrival at the hotel). I can survive stale carpet and already damaged furniture, but there are no such joints.

In the room there is a bathrobe, slippers, all kinds of shampoos, gels, hats, a kettle, everything is there. Right next to the hotel is a water park, an amusement park, where actually the largest Ferris wheel in Kazakhstan, a red double-decker bus also stops nearby (opposite the shopping center), Khan Shatyr can be reached on foot (15 minutes walk), and next to a giant park (central), with a flagpole, a pond, the St. Regis hotel disadvantages I would note that it is not written anywhere that a cap is needed for the pool, and that in fact the hotel pool is a fitness center where ordinary people swim and practice, not hotel guests. They offer to buy a hat at the reception of this fitness club, 700 tenge. I did not buy it, because at that time there was a children's swimming training in the pool and there was nowhere to swim, and they let me into the sauna without a hat.

We stayed in the room for 4 nights, the window was not closed day or night, the smell does not disappear (from the word at all). They offered to replace the room on the same floor (17), 5 rooms were bypassed - all the same. The conclusion is that the carpet must be removed. Breakfasts are quite so-so normal. No frills, but there is a familiar minimum for hotels. Colleagues living in other rooms complain about odors in the room (something like burnt wiring). I don't have such problems in my room. Nice hotel. ____ After visiting here this year, I can confidently say that the hotel is sinking to the bottom. Starting from the rooms where everything is stripped, the fabrics are stained and the balcony is screwed shut (this is the first time I've seen such barbarism in hotels...), ending with the service, the laundry is not working, you call - endless beeps, when you try to contact the laundry through the reception, you only get excuses and "when the laundry staff sees your call, they will they'll call you back." The food in the lobby bar (the only place where you can order room service directly via phone) is of average quality and the price tag is very high (this is the norm for hotels, but the quality of the food leaves much to be desired). The only thing that left a neutral impression was the breakfasts. There are fried eggs to order, a large selection of drinks and a constantly changing menu, you will not stay hungry. ———— To summarize: for 3 years, the hotel has been slowly and surely going downhill, since the summer of 2021, where only the condition of the rooms caused questions, everything has descended to the 2* hotel level, where you do not expect good and high-quality service. It's a pity, because for such money (even for a standard room) I would like to see a hotel that is more interested in your quality vacation. I don't think I'll stop here again until something changes.

During our short vacation, we had to live in two rooms, due to the non-working air conditioner in 30-degree heat... but it didn't work in both rooms. In the first room on the 15th floor, the air conditioner did not work, the refrigerator was heated, the safe and the door to the balcony were broken, the drain in the shower did not work well. We asked us to move another room, it was provided promptly. But in this room (on the 4th floor) there was some kind of chemical smell and the button on the toilet tank was broken and in order for the water not to flow, it was constantly necessary to fix it. The watering can in the shower is also broken.. The rooms were clean, and cleaning was done every day. Polite staff. Breakfast (buffet) I liked them, they were quite diverse. Separate respect for the pool, warm, clean, there is a hammam (shared), a Russian and Finnish sauna separate (male and female). According to the rules of the pool, as a mandatory requirement, a swimming cap (sold at the reception in the gym for cash or by card, everything seems logical, but when you know about it)))) I took off the stars exclusively for the conder and for tired towels .

The carpet in the room looks like it's never been cleaned, it's just dirty. At the same time, the location of the hotel is excellent, the lobby is beautiful, the breakfasts are delicious and varied. But this is clearly not the place where I will stop again.
