I liked the national cuisine and live music. Cozy atmosphere and attractive interior. I didn't like the abundance of children in the evening and the video footage of parents dancing. No one asks for permission to film other visitors, and the administration of the institution needs to resolve the issue of video filming by visitors, especially with young children. Because of this, we had to leave quickly.

We were looking for a place where you can try local cuisine not far from home. As tourists, this particular point was important to us. And how glad we are that we chose the Village. From Almaty, our journey continued to Abu Dhabi, then to Moscow, and when we returned home, we remember how delicious it was for us in the Village. There is more meat in the picture on the menu than in fact. They forgot to put breadcrumbs in the Caesar salad, then they brought them separately. One ordered item was not delivered. I couldn't chew one big piece of shish kebab, this is the first time. And the cherry on the cake - one more French fries was included in the bill than was ordered and brought. There is a summer terrace at the entrance on the right and on the left. Visitors leave the hall and smoke near the door, as if in a corridor between the terraces, and all the smoke passes outside through the terrace.

I ordered a chicken kebab. What was my surprise, and for my teeth, when I saw that it was chopped meat with bones, and with crushed ones. There was a bone in every piece. Of course, I did not eat such a kebab. To my question, the waiter replied - we don't have fillets. Tandoor tortilla - they said it was not warm, but fresh - alas, apparently the concept of freshness is when the tortillas are at least 1 day old; Of all, I liked the cola without sugar, as always delicious.

Today I ordered a chak-chak delivery at this restaurant. I fell for the good reviews from visitors. The pictures are beautiful, but there is no gramming and it is not clear how many grams there will be in one serving. Well, you can get over it. You could say that it was her own fault, she could have called and asked how much she would weigh. BUT they sent 100 grams of chak-chak for 1400 tenge, so when we opened the box, it felt like we had already eaten it, or we had swept what was left into the box. I got the impression - here you go and get off!!! Well, how can I put it on the guest's table?!!!! Such a terrible disrespect for the client! It is clear that a hundred grams is not a lot, but they could have packed it so that it arrived in its normal form!!! I called with a complaint, but no one offered to replace this horror. They began to say that in a week there would be a new menu and everything would be spelled out there. I will definitely never order anything from this place, and I will not come to the institution itself!!!! Well, apparently, I was unlucky, and I had a negative experience with the staff of this institution. If I lived nearby, I would have come by myself, but otherwise it all went to the trash.

07.07.2024 . We are guests from Germany. We love Oriental cuisine, we hunt for pilaf all over Asia. We spent three days in Almaty and devoted one evening to this restaurant. The pilaf was delicious. The kebab was delicious too!! But we were poisoned.. It became clear a few hours after dinner. Stomach pains.. emergency medication and martyrdom in flight and the day after that on the same tea.. and it is not known yet what will happen, because the second day the body is in a stupor and does not accept food🤢
