I liked: the museum of the sea, where they will tell about pearl fishing, the museum of perfumery, where you can smell the components of traditional Arab perfumes, the museum of jewelry. The main problem of the museum is a lot of multimedia screens and few real exhibits. For example, the sheikh's house consists of 5 halls with screens, where the dynasty of Dubai sheikhs will be briefly described, their quotes will be given, and personal belongings will be displayed. You will not see any interiors, as usual in the residences of rulers. Just white walls and screens. There are plaster animals and plastic plants in the flora and fauna pavilion. I still prefer traditional museums. P.S. The graffiti shows women in a traditional Arab burg mask.

A very interesting museum, or rather a string of museums. You can buy a single ticket and walk around the old city, along the embankment along the canal and enter 22 museums on various topics that reveal the history of the UAE people. Even without knowing the language, you can understand what the museum exhibits tell you. There is a museum of perfumes, tableware, traditional handicrafts, jewelry, shipbuilding, a museum of the sea, flora and fauna. Everyone will find something for themselves.

A large museum complex where you can get acquainted with the history and culture of the region. Each building is actually a separate museum: the birth of the city, navigation, traditional food and hospitality, aromatics in everyday life, etc. It takes from 40 minutes to an hour and a half for each museum, so you can spend a whole day on the entire complex. Very friendly staff, ready to give directions or conduct a guided tour. There is a restaurant, souvenir shops.

The most interesting museum, consisting of 22 objects of inspection. Everyone deserves attention, put in at least 6 hours, and if with a lunch break, then all 8, i.e. the whole day. For 2 adults and a child, 125 dirhams are charged.

A very good museum consisting of 22 buildings, each of which is dedicated to a specific theme in the history of the UAE. The museum is located in the old city of Dubai. This place is especially pleasant to visit in winter, when the weather is cool, and you can safely walk and visit every building. The price is reasonable — 50 dirhams, but you can find cheaper tickets on some websites.

Emaciated cats and kittens live next to the museum, completely unattended, with pronounced dystrophy and festering eyes. Reproducing uncontrollably. It is absolutely inhumane to bring animals to such a state. If you go to the museum, please take some cat food with you.

I liked the museum, it consists of many houses scattered throughout the territory. We walked for a very long time, we didn't see everything, we were just tired. The museum itself is not like ours, it is very modern, interactive, the most beautiful thing in it is not the exhibits, but the design. There are many locations for beautiful photos.

I see that there are few reviews. I decided to write my own in hot pursuit. A good place to get to know and immerse yourself in the culture of the Emirates. Additional visits are not worth breading, you are guaranteed to get stuck here, in a good way) The complex consists of about 22 museum houses, each dedicated to its own theme: the house of the bay, the house of perfumery, medicine, beauty and care, life on earth, life at sea, crafts, etc., etc. It is interesting that all the museums are located in residential houses of the royal family, built at the beginning of the 20th century. For example, the perfume museum is located in the house of the sheikh's wife, who was engaged in perfumery, and master classes are held in her (former) chambers. The expositions in each of the museums, although small, are made with high quality, with diligence and give the first touch to the stated topics. A lot of interactivity. One of the most liked is the Bay House (Creek House) with its film about the history of the historical and success story of Dubai and the Bay, since 1822. Parfume House - it is interesting to touch the traditional culture of perfumery based on natural ingredients, as opposed to modern chemistry, and understand why perfumery is valued so highly. I just didn't have time for more than 3 hours. Initially, there was a plan to combine these museums with the Museum "Crossroads of Civilizations" (Crossroads of civilizations), which is located there, but the amount of information is more than enough. Therefore, it is better to separate them, especially since the Crossroads of Civilizations also consists of three parts. Very nice staff, conduct mini-tours in English. In general, do not disclose this place further;) Once there, now you can practically wander around the halls alone. The ticket price is 50 dirhams, it is valid for one day, it cannot be transferred. And after visiting the museums, take a walk along the embankment. A very colorful place. If desired, you can move to the other side of the bay to the Gold Market on an abra boat, paying 1 dirhams for travel.

When you go to Dubai, you imagine hotels on the bulk islands of Palm trees and Burj Khalifa (the tallest skyscraper in the emirates, perhaps the world, did not track) in fact, there's nothing else there. However, if you want to learn more about the traditional way of life and what Dubai was like 60 years ago, then visit this museum.

Rubbish. An antique remodel. Museums are empty, most of them are just modern fakes or projections on the wall.

Thank you for the only review that was here, today we were in this museum, I really liked it. There is a lot of interactivity, you immerse yourself in the theme of each pavilion. Lots of videos. Visual expositions, films on the subject of the exhibition are shown in some halls, the staff invites you when the broadcast begins in English.

A great museum for a very inexpensive price. Unfortunately, we couldn't see everything, because we had 2.5 hours before closing time. You really need to spend the whole day laying. We will be happy to come again. It is very well visited in the midst of the heat, each pavilion is a closed building with air conditioning. If you don't have even a cursory knowledge of English, you will be bored.

I planned to visit this museum in the morning, and then go to Sharjah, but... it turned out to be so big that I was released only in the evening! The fact is that this museum includes, in my opinion, 16 separate museums dedicated to different areas of life in Dubai and the Emirates. The ticket costs, in my opinion, 50 dirhams and includes visits to all branches. They are located nearby, along the bay in restored old (early 20th century) houses. You leave one house, the guard shows you the door to another exposition. Exhibitions are devoted to poetry, traditional clothing, culture, crafts, religion, perfumes, marine crafts, in particular pearl fishing, etc. I especially liked that there were no people anywhere. You enter the next museum, you are met by a guide and conducts (optional) a short tour (this is all included in the ticket price!). In most museums, I got just such individual excursions. It's very nice. Guided tours in English, descriptions of the exhibits, too.
