Take Egyptian pounds with you, water and toilets are cheaper than paying in dollars. The toilet costs 15 pounds, you can safely negotiate and visit these places for 5. And this is 10 rubles). You do not need to take souvenirs, do not show interest in them. Then you can't fight back

We were with a guide, the ticket includes a visit to 3 tombs, except the tomb of Tutankhamun. Transport takes you to the first tomb, you have to walk to the rest. We were on a hot day, the temperature was about 40 ° C , the toilet was paid for 3 people for $ 1 and only at the beginning of the valley. Be sure to bring water and hats with you. There are practically no places with shade in the valley, and where there is, there is already a crowd of people standing and hiding from the sun. It is very hot inside the tombs, read the BATHHOUSE, sweat flowed from everyone, it was very stuffy and there was nothing to breathe. In some tombs the descent is quite sharp and steep, in some it is more even. There are no steps as such, boards with slats. Inside the tomb, business is Egyptian - theoretically, it is impossible to enter the crypt, but for $ 1 it is possible. Unfortunately, back in 2015, they were not allowed to take pictures of absolutely nothing - they had to just leave all their phones, cameras and GoPro on the bus. At the entrance to the valley, they really checked all the pockets and bags so that no one would carry anything for the photo. It's a pity that I couldn't take any photos.

We were in November. A beautiful place. But it's very hot. +36 was in the shade. The woman became ill. Tombs in the rocks. Tutankhamun is fascinating. We touched the history of ancient Egypt. Another very good guide got caught - Amir. Thanks for the story! We went with him to Luxor and Cairo to see the pyramids! We learned a lot of new things!

Удивительное место. Долгую поездку и жару стоит потерпеть ради незабываеввых впечатлений. Детей с собой брать не стоит очень тяжело, да и не интересно для них. Обязательно лучше купите тур через официального гида: безопасность обеспечивает офицер полиции, постоянно сопровождающий вас, а гид просто Красава все грамотно организовывает и классно рассказывает! Ездили в апреле было 35-40 градусов, в летние месяца думаю там не выносимо совсем

Хоть и потрёпанные временем, но всё же исполинские статуи «Колоссы Мемнона». Восхищаюсь огромным проделанным трудом и мастерством! Когда-то они были преддверием в огромный храм, который несколько десятилетий назад египетские «ценители своей древней истории»… разобрали по камушкам и построили из него аж три сахарных фабрики🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. Египет теперь может гордиться этими достойными сынами… и пить чай с сахаром), поглядывая на осиротевшие статуи.

Если сравнивать с пирамидами в Гизе, то надо помнить одно: не всегда самое интересное снаружи! Походить возле массивные гигантов хорошо, но в самих гробница ничего интересного. В этих гробницах и скрыто всё самое красивое! Все стены расписаны "Книгой мёртвых", ловушки, переходы и саркофаги... Это лучше видеть самому!
Минус только один: фотографировать запрещено.
