We accidentally wandered into this art gallery. The employee gave us a warm and interesting acquaintance tour, told us many interesting stories about Uzbekistan, dresses and fabrics. She showed me some old photos. I was interested in a very beautiful carpet on the floor and it turned out that it was an exact reproduction of the Pazyryk carpet (an archaeological find from the burial mound of the Pazyryk culture in the Altai Republic, Russia. The oldest pile carpet in existence)! In addition, the carpet master gave a task so that all artists visiting the gallery would definitely walk through it.: 1. Leave your mark :) 2. The idea to age the carpet in this way.

Beautiful gallery! The design is very creative, interesting lighting and an unusual interior, I don't want to leave at all. The staff is very polite, intelligent and open. You can see right away that they are people of art. We had a small tour, and thanks to them we saw the large exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Samarkand.

A magical place!The paintings are different in genres, very worthy!I didn't want to leave.Luxury quality clothing collection!The craftsmen use vintage fabrics, with an oriental flavor, but very delicately. Such models are not found in Samarkand, as consumer goods are mainly sold.

I was pleased to visit the wonderful Aysel Gallery. It is located across the street from Registan. Admission is free, which is very nice. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, and textiles are represented here. A great place to dilute the architectural beauty. It is possible to purchase photographs and scarves. An employee of the gallery told about some of the works and collections, and it turned out to be a mini-tour. Definitely recommend the place!)

Unexpectedly, without setting a goal, we discovered such a gem as the Aysel Gallery. An excellent archive of photographs of old Uzbekistan and people of those years. It's a real treasure. Paintings and clothes of local craftsmen are also collected. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the gallery's organizers in the person of Natalia, who, despite the lateness of the hour, gave us her maximum attention and dedicated us to the life stories of the artists represented in the gallery.
