I recently stopped by the Mr. Cook restaurant in Sultanahmet, because I was there in a hotel nearby and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the prices were quite reasonable (according to my subjective assessment, the portions in other restaurants are smaller and the price tag is the same), there is a menu in English, there are many sauces for dishes and mustard and barbecue, etc. (see photo). The interior is also pleasant, creates a cozy atmosphere (although it was confusing that some Turkish news was on TV, and not classical music, for example). The waiters are polite and unobtrusive, which is also important. At the end of the meal, they give a compliment from the institution in the form of a small sweet :)
What surprised me was that the restaurant was half empty. Given the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere, I expected to see more visitors. Perhaps it was just luck that I came at a quiet time, but I would recommend everyone to try this restaurant and see for themselves its excellence.
The service fee will be included in the bill if it is important to you.
All in all, my experience at this restaurant was excellent. I was very satisfied with everything from the food to the service. I will definitely come back here again and recommend it to all my friends, sincerely hoping that they will also appreciate this wonderful experience.

We saw this place in tiktok, decided to go try our favorite dish Hurrem Sultan. It is called Hurrem Sultan and they also took Mutankana, both dishes with lamb meat. The portions are large and very tasty. The feed is fast enough. Prices bite, as in many places in Turkey.
Turkishpide was also taken to try and given a flatbread as a compliment.
Of course, Ephesus beer is very tasty here.
Salep was tasted for the first time - it resembles jelly in consistency, and tastes like a dairy product.

The cafe has improved! They give presents from the cook in the form of tea and baklava ) For free! A flatbread too. It is very tasty, at home, calm and sincere. There was no service charge in the bill.
The prices are average. Compared to the crazy restaurants on the Galata Bridge, it's quite inexpensive :))

It was quite expensive – two Iskander kebabs, one portion of grilled vegetables and two Cokes – 2,300 lire (4,000 rubles!). In addition, Iskander kebab itself tasted very mediocre. Imho is not worth the money at all.

One of the best restaurants that we visited during the week in Istanbul, and we visited a lot of them. Both snacks and hot dishes are very tasty.
The service is excellent, the staff is very courteous, but at the same time not intrusive.
As a gift, not only tea, but also baklava.

It is very cozy and comfortable. The staff understands Russian and English well, and the service is good. There is a nuance - tips are already included in the receipt, in Turkey this is a common thing, as well as paid snacks under the guise of treats of the institution. The portions are large, the pasta is very tasty, I advise you, as well as meat and pizza. Not for gourmets, but the taste is pretty good. The restaurant left a very pleasant feeling, let's come back here again)

Pleasant, friendly waiters, they love cats. We were treated to extra tea, and for dessert we were treated to watermelon. The food is delicious, the portions are good. At prices slightly cheaper than similar "tourist" cafes on the neighboring streets.

The taste of the dishes does not match the price. You can close your eyes to this. But you can't be deceived by the owner of the restaurant. He brought us a flatbread, smiling and saying that it was a gift from the institution. Fortunately, we read the reviews on Yandex maps and took this cake back to him, which made him not as kind and hospitable as he was originally. He also brought a handwritten check, in which a strange amount of 60 lire was deposited. When asked what it was, he replied that it was for the cooks to work. Although we paid 200 liras in total, and it's not even 10% of the order… I do not recommend it

The owner of the establishment is a hospitable man, joking. However, we were upset by the fact that we were served an assortment of snacks that we had not ordered, we were delighted, naively believing that this was a treat. As a result, they were included in the bill. It looks like a hoax to me.

An ordinary Turkish cafe . You can eat without any problems.
As usual, there are nuances. In the middle of the bill, the charge service of 50 liras for two is incomprehensibly prescribed. I asked for bread, but they brought me snacks for 45 lire. But when you are on vacation, you no longer pay attention to these "salesmen".
