We stayed at this hotel for 9 days, 10 nights. Good attitude of the staff.
The sea is excellent transparent, sandy beach, good sunset. There were not enough deck chairs. There is a small reef. They don't give beer at the beach bar.
The food is monotonous, almost the same every day. I got an intestinal infection with my husband. After that, the food was carefully chosen. The food is spicy, salty. It ruined the rest. Many had poisoning. There were not enough seats in the hall. 2 visits to 2 restaurants are included.
There is no animation. There's nothing to do in the evening.There are not enough places.
Alcohol is not about anything, beer is like water, I did not like other alcohol. There is a paid bar.
The rooms are old, the furniture is old. Once there were ants crawling and once there was a lizard. There is no cleaning, only garbage and towels, that's all.Bed linen is not changed. There is an air conditioner.
It was inconvenient with the Internet, which was only at the reception, where there were a lot of people and no connection at all. There is no room, which is very inconvenient.The local SIM card (Internet) was enough for 2 days. It's a waste of money.

The beach is nice.Bed linen and towels are changed. Of the disadvantages, this is an almost cold pool, although it is stated that it is heated. Warm only for children. Animators try their best, service dealers are very intrusive, they interfere with rest. The hotel as a whole left a good impression, if there is an opportunity to fly inexpensively, I recommend it.

Hello everyone. We stayed at the hotel from September 25 to October 5. In Egypt for the second time. The rest was a success. Room 1312, second floor, with a large balcony. Cleaning and changing of towels in the room every day. Linen is changed every two days. Shower gel, shampoo and soap were replenished every day and water. The beds in the room are gorgeous. The air conditioner was working properly and quietly. The animation is good and there is entertainment in the evening. Food: I liked everything, you definitely won't be hungry. Beef meat, chicken, grilled, fish, vegetables, herbs, noodles, potatoes, mashed soups ...., porridges, omelets, eggs in various versions, yoghurts, jams, pastries and much more. There are very few fruits: melon is so-so, oranges, dates, grapefruit, there was a pomegranate a couple of times. There are coffee machines with very tasty coffee. Alcoholic drinks are cool, you can drink them. The territory is well maintained, beautiful, everything is green. Beach: sand, constantly cleaned, bins everywhere, you can smoke. The sunbeds are a little tired, sometimes there was a shortage. The entrance to the clean and transparent sea is ideal, but there are places for swimming (compared to other hotels) very little. There is a reef where you can watch the fish. And as it is very important to me, this is a polite staff. Thanks to the hotel and its staff for a good stay. There will be an opportunity, we will come to rest again!!!!!!!

We had a rest with a friend at this hotel in the period from 18.10.22 to 25.10.22. A good hotel for its legitimate 4. The hotel is located at a distance from Hurghada. Wonderful beach, smooth entry into the sea. It is interesting to swim with a mask, because there are corals and naturally fish, swim over the cape and the underwater world is especially interesting. The beach and the sea are excellent! Food. Fresh and high-quality food (lots of fresh vegetables, fruits were in sufficient quantity. There are a lot of pomegranates, melons, oranges, grapefruit and dates of varying degrees of maturity. Beef stew and chicken are required. In the morning, an omelette or scrambled eggs and quite decent coffee. A decent selection of fresh pastries and sweets (I'm not a fan of sweets). There is a large room for eating and there are tables outside. The waiters work quickly, but they do not always cope with the large influx of vacationers (cutlery is given out in sealed bags and sometimes you have to wait). Alcohol. I don't like wine in Egypt, for a moment they took tequila and gin in bars on the beach (you can drink it, but without sophistication). The territory is not large, but it is green and well maintained. There are 3 swimming pools on the territory. Nice white buildings for living no higher than 3 floors. The rooms are quite decent with updated plumbing. Nice comfortable beds, fresh linen. Cleaning every day. Evening entertainment is very meager, there is little entertainment for children, but only "+" for adults and not young people. Of course, the Internet is the main problem. Only at the reception, very slow, and sometimes not at all. Will I go to this hotel again? Yes. There is a great beach, the sea, I like to swim with a mask, there are a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, there are not many children on site, which is a plus for me.

In general, we went to Seagull, to the center of Hurghada, but the "wonderful" fan San rudely said that our hotel had changed and we would live in Mercury. They have this topic now. With us, 18 people were settled at the wrong address, this is only what we know about! I do not advise anyone to ever travel from this tour operator!!!! Even if they offer a slightly lower price. Let's go back to the hotel. The location is the only disadvantage, because there is nowhere to leave the hotel at all. And we wanted to go for a walk, so we had to take a taxi to the city. The food is good, fruits, vegetables are different, everything is there. Meat, fish, duck, turkey, chicken, squid. Everything is delicious. Pastry in abundance! The staff is 5+! Everything is clean, any request is immediately fulfilled. The beach is great, the entry into the water is convenient. There are a lot of French and Germans. The rest is so leisurely, relaxing. In general, a sanatorium. Although there is not a bad animation, if there is a desire. The rest was mostly a success.

The hotel is cool. Here it is a complex of small three-storey houses, each of which has its own zodiac sign. We lived under the sign of the Lion with a view of the pool and windows overlooking the sunset. The room has good light-absorbing curtains, but because the windows were not facing east, the sun was no longer scorching here, but a pleasant sunset. The air conditioner worked day and night, it is not modern, push-button, but it cooled perfectly. The plumbing is clean, new faucets. We were also lucky our room was alone (without neighbors) on the 3rd floor, which means that the room was always quiet, we slept great here, only crows outside the windows woke up in the morning, which sometimes cawed close. The food is quite varied and delicious, especially fish and squid with sauce. The pool is clean, cold, colder than the sea. The sea with a sandy smooth approach. There is a reef, you can see a lot of fish on the reef.

I was at this hotel from January 25th to February 3rd. We lived in a hotel under the sign of the zodiac Capricorn in room 1113 on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea. I liked everything very much. The entrance to the sea is good, the room was cleaned every day, the food was of high quality, the animators of the girls Ksyusha and Natasha - the charm of the girl - did not let you get bored. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, from 6.11.2024 to 11/16/2024, after 5 days I really wanted to go home.....The hotel itself, the territory is well maintained, they try. But the rooms are certainly shabby, the plaster is falling off in places, the furniture is very old ... but Egypt itself is very dirty, very. The hotel territory is constantly cleaned, the lawn is mowed, the sea is gorgeous, the sand is not very gentle, there are many small coral or construction debris, it is not clear, but the water is crystal clear. Towels are given out old, torn in places.
The staff is very polite, responsive, almost everyone speaks Russian, they are smiling, if you give them a dollar they will become even nicer and kinder.
On food.....there are a lot of unusual things, very few really normal food that we are used to, it is impossible to eat cheese and sausage like plasticine, of course there are a lot of sweets, a lot of flour, there were only oranges, dates, hard green melon and pomegranate from fruits.
The ala carte restaurant is generally better not to go and book, there are few children's playgrounds and they are very old and gloomy....It was scary to go there at all. I would not choose this hotel anymore. Internet is only in the lobby, there is no Internet in the rooms, Wi-Fi does not catch

The hotel justifies its four beautiful, large territory, well-groomed, which can not be said about the beach, the sun beds are old, a lot of broken ones, once we saw a kid who was raking garbage and that's it. But we are used to people :), come, clean up around and rest :). The sea, here it is, is warm, the entrance is wonderful, the sun is hot, the company is wonderful. The food, as everywhere else, is not bad. It was enough. I have always wondered why there is no normal choice of fish dishes, at sea and with almost no moproducts. If you decide which hotel to go to for a vacation, you can safely choose Mercuri, considering that it is 4 , have a nice stay!

. All Excursions were bought through the tour operator.
The company has worked 100% for us..14 days of rest have been visited :
1) a boat trip with diving and snorkeling on a yacht - the team. The animators are excellent (the team (staff) is multifaceted: they managed the yacht , cooked and entertained , worked to the fullest , it was a sin not to tip
2) 2-day tour Cairo- Alexandria - excellent 2 days in one go (security has a separate respect, the hotel in Cairo has failed (sovdopovsky, but not critical for 1 night)
3) desert safari - good instruction, attentive and erudite guide (Hedgehog group)
4) Luxor - informative, fun, informative, good program, well organized ,
5) Submarine - for the exotic intresno-. Good organization , divers adjusted the fish so that tourists would be interested .
6) diving with 2 dives is, as usual, a good organization , a multidisciplinary attentive team. Separately , I would like to note the work of diving instructors ( who in parallel were sailors , cooks and animators - individual work with each tourist , absolutely everyone was even panicked , plunged in and were incredibly happy . So that you would understand . The 9-year-old boy was still persuaded by the instructor ( he was even afraid to jump into the water ) I taught him and the child immersed himself , it was necessary to see how they worked with him correctively and carefully . At the end of the Tour, a special stop was made for him and, to the applause of the entire ship, he plunged under the water - yes, pp 5 minutes, but it was a victory and the super professionalism of the team and attention to tourists, and for free ( they did not pay separately )
To summarize: we paid $1,100 for all the Excursions .
Meals on excursions are completely normal .
Tourist safety is at a high level

The representative of the tour operator is excellent (he picked up gorgeous Excursions without intersections and diverse at the most favorable prices, with good logistics, always in touch and, not least, recognizable - in a corporate form!)
All boat trips with diving and snorkeling were accompanied by instructors who showed interesting moments, watched tourists, and even adjusted fish to tourists and moray eels at a safe distance !(all equipment was provided complete with flippers and masks) - great job!!
The prices of the tour operator were quite adequate and in places and even cheaper than similar ones from other tour providers.
Egypt is fire!!!
Cons- the food is a little monotonous, slightly annoying, alcohol is better from Duty free.

I must say right away we were in Egypt, we visited all the excursions, but I wanted to visit this hotel again, because I had wonderful memories of it when it was called the Sofitel. The hotel expanded, there were two additional pools, new buildings, and we had a family room in one of them.Well, as a family.. the same room, only for children there was a small cubicle, which had a bunk bed, a chair, a built-in wardrobe and a TV on the wall.She was so tiny that the working air conditioner immediately froze her, and if you don't turn it on, the heat. The door had to be left open so that the air conditioner would cool both rooms. But the terrace is at least a horse walk. No umbrella, no awning, no clothes dryer. The food is monotonous, sometimes there was nothing to choose for dinner or lunch, what kind of seafood is there?Fruits-unripe melon, apples, oranges, sometimes watermelon-it's in August! Everything is salty and peppery. My stomach ached all the time.Alcohol is low-grade. There is no animation! Young and funny animators who don't know what to do with the audience.. Mossy, monotonous minidiscoe, aqua aerobics, charging. If you want to have fun, you can go to a disco in the city for $20. The excursions also left a lasting impression. We took them from TEZ-TUR. I repeat, we were in Egypt, I wanted to show the children this interesting country.But everything has changed a lot. We have not heard at all about the pharaohs, nor about ancient cities, dynasties, who usurped who, who united... All the stories are about how Arabs get married and live with their wives, and endless shops. Yes, and we traveled to these places then, but we somehow did not feel such a desire to just pull money from you. But the most beautiful thing is the shops that are located on the territory of the hotel. It's just terrorism. It is impossible to calmly go to the reception (there is no other way there). Every time you go to Calvary, you have to go through these rows of annoying touts! Well, the cherry on the cake is our departure. Instead of relaxing at sea (the plane took off at 15.30), the charter reduced it for us by as much as 9 hours! At 3 a.m., we picked up our sleepy children, took packed, all crumpled rolls and four bottles of water, instead of a full breakfast, and were cheerfully escorted home. 2 adults and 1 child 6 years old. The room was quite comfortable. The son slept separately in a niche with a mattress-type bed. He liked it. I chose the hotel based on several rave reviews that everything is fine, everything is delicious and varied. Apparently, these reviews were filmed on the first day of your stay. The sea is certainly at 5. the staff smiles properly at all 32 and even more so if you give a dallar. A dollar left at the mirror in the room turns into a swan or a turtle in general, it's cool. I rate it for the monotony of the food and the fact that during the stay the day before departure, the card on the towel was lost, for which I had to pay 15 bucks. No one warned about this. It turns out that everything is written in small print from the back of the card, as in the loan agreement. If you decide to go to this hotel, keep in mind the brazen crows who steal food left under an umbrella by the pool and the same brazen sparrows who peck from plates right in the restaurant while you went for drinks, for example. In the early days, we met a couple from Moscow who were abroad for the first time and who were literally satisfied with everything. Meeting a few days later, I heard the phrase - you were right about the monotony of nutrition. In general, this hotel is more like an average Turkish three-star hotel. You won't starve, but don't count on any variety either. Meat with the smell and taste of goat skin was served several times. I don't care, but my son and wife don't eat that. In general, as a result, Greece, namely Hurghada, where there is nothing to see and the Mercury hotel is never worth visiting for the 2nd time. Of course, the taste and color, as they say. But after Greece and Bulgaria, we will not go to Hurghada anymore.

This is a former Softener. I like the design and architecture here. Wi-Fi is distributed only in the administrative part. Food is not ice. But what bothered me the most was the sound of the mechanism turning on and off. It turned out to be a general ventilation system. It couldn't be turned off. At the same time, it did not blow out. HURGHADA 20 YEARS LATER...
I was in Hurghada for the 2nd time (before that in 2003).
I was very impressed and delighted with my vacation spent in this wonderful hotel.
In order:
Aeroflot round-trip flight without delays
Individual transfer in both directions 5 minutes from the airport to go.
I arrived at the hotel at 15:20 and was immediately checked into room 1534 on the 1st floor with a sea view.
The room was clean, everything worked, they cleaned well, there was a tea set, 2b water every day, if you replace the linen, put a special piece of paper on the bed and they will change it for you, the safe is free, someone has 6 hangers in the closet, there is no dryer on the balcony, a bathrobe with slippers was given immediately upon request, my room was usually cleaned after 14 it didn't bother me, I spent the whole day at sea.
The food has made me feel better
The breakfasts are standard, I liked the porridges, they don't cook delicious porridges everywhere) the pastries are just lux-made with soul.
Lunch and dinner liquid soup, meat, fish, a selection of side dishes, pasta station, well, very tasty) good conditioning of the restaurant.
Fruits-melon, dates, oranges, grefruits, watermelons were given 3 times during the two weeks of my stay.
Yes, for coffee lovers in the main restaurant on zavrak lunch and dinner, I make excellent coffee in a large machine, milk is nearby.
Of course, biscuits and local desserts were present.
There are 2 types of ice cream in the pool bar, mole and shock. There's a snack there, I didn't try it, I didn't have the strength anymore))

The food is for 3 people, there are not even dried fruits for breakfast.Seafood for 2 weeks was 1 time-squid.There is no bathhouse, sauna or hammam.Things were stolen on the beach-jackets, children's clothes and toys.The hotel administration reacted rudely and behaved in this situation.The beach is not cleaned of cigarettes and garbage, glasses.There are sparrows sitting on the food in the restaurant!Crows are washing in the pool.
