Black Angus is one of my favorite spots in Yerevan when I’m craving a really good burger without spending a fortune. The place itself on Abovyan, is quite small and not the most comfortable for a long sit-down meal – there’s only one washroom and seating can feel a bit tight, especially during busy hours. But the food definitely makes up for it. The burgers are honestly some of the best you can get for the price. I do feel like the patty size has gotten a bit smaller recently, but it’s still incredibly tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned. The fries are great too, and the sauces are a standout – don’t skip them. Service has always been friendly and efficient in my experience, which is another plus.

Used to be my go-to burger spot in Yerevan. Not anymore. Upstairs seating was “full” until we saw a walk-in group of seven get placed there. Only after pushing the issue did we get the table we had requested. Burgers were clearly precooked, cold in the middle, and the cheese wasn’t melted. My “medium” was still red inside. My wife’s was cooked through but slapped together with the butt end of a tomato, a smashed bun, and a single onion ring. The large group next to us had to send back most of their order. Fries showed up fifteen minutes after the burgers. They were crispy but unsalted. Even the vanilla milkshake was poorly made. For the price, there are far better burger spots in Yerevan. Black Angus is living off its old reputation, and it shows.

I went to this place for many years, there was always a wonderful atmosphere, polite and smiling staff and delicious food. This year, the quality of the institution has noticeably decreased. Burgers have become smaller, somewhat crooked and "rotten". The staff has also changed, the waiters are less attentive, like interns. The waiter did not warn us about the presence of alcohol in the drink (they took the same drink a year ago and it was without alcohol), he brought it, and in response to our remark, he said that he had warned us. I called the manager, who said that there were no problems and took the drink. As a result, the drink was in the receipt anyway and we had to pay for it. It's very unpleasant, I don't want to go back to my once favorite place anymore.

Pleasant friendly staff, good service speed with an average landing, food for 4. For example, I liked the mozzarella sticks, but absolutely did not like the BBQ wings. The burgers are quite decent, but not the best in Yerevan. A delicious burger joint in the center of Yerevan, a good alternative to restaurants, we ordered two large burgers with chicken for 1500 drams and green tea in a glass for 300 drams, a total of 3600 drams. In general, a snack for two cost about 850 rubles. Excellent Moscow prices. We ate on the ground floor, clean, bright and quiet, watching the passers-by. The second floor is dark and noisy. I didn't like the service. They didn't meet me, they didn't give me a menu, they sat down at the table themselves, then they just gave me a menu. The problem was small. The service is based on nationality, first the Armenians who came after us, then they served us somehow. No, it wasn't my imagination. The waiter's strange behavior, such as taking an order to leave quickly, did not let me doubt it, even if it was well hidden. The food was very good, the drinks too! It's a pity that the staff is working as if it's the last day before they leave. The establishment is on the 3rd floor.
