Inside, there is severe asceticism, permeated by centuries of history. The hookahs themselves have seen the tsar, and the stern men carry birch charcoal right in buckets. There's tea, meow, coffee, and that's it. The place is quiet. The place is secluded. So much so that the local seals absolutely don't care about you and your plans - they'll just come and chill with you side by side. And yes, no one will bring you a bill, no one will count what you ate, drank, smoked. At the exit, you have to go up to an inconspicuous grandfather (of course, also smoking a hookah), and you have to say it yourself, like "1 hookah, two teas" and give money. No one will check. They'll shake your hand and let you go in peace. This place is taking you away. I want to come back here again

A local, ancient hookah joint in Istanbul.🕌 They don't speak Russian for sure, and they don't speak English very much, but we managed to understand each other when choosing a hookah. Most of the visitors are local men) we were there as a group of 4 girls and everything is ok😊🙂 The cost is 350 lire hookah. Hookahs are good, they smoke for a long time. This is the second time in Istanbul and we always come here💨

I want to confirm for this place, I was there a couple of times a few years ago. This year, everything is unchanged, the level is kept. True, now the hookah costs 230 lira, but there are more flavors, though all from the Sherbetli and Al-Faker series. Everything is as honest and authentic as possible

A very authentic place. Our "smoky" establishments are like the moon. Not just one hookah man, but individual people responsible for stuffing, coals, a porter, a peddler of tea and lemon water, you can always take the next cup of stunningly strong tea from him. And of course the hookah - we did everything as requested - light apple, no garik- in short, everything is at the highest level, and the price is ridiculous 300 lira, despite the fact that I drank 5 cups + hookah.

A very atmospheric hookah bar, in the courtyard of the old madrasah. The situation is initially frightening (it seems that it is dirty and just a "hangout"), but in fact, hookah is smoked here from students to wealthy businessmen. There are tourists too. I've been coming here for more than 12 years, and mostly the same people work. The service is minimal, it's part of the atmosphere of the place. Hookahs are great. And - no food, just tea, coffee, water. In general, a real old Istanbul hookah bar (by the way, it is actually more than 80 years old). P.S. fans of "blackberries with banana and a little chill, on grapefruit" - by, this is a traditional place, 1 tobacco per 1 hookah, maximum additives - mint.
