Istanbul knows how to amaze with its views — but Mimar Sinan Roof takes this art to a new level. On one side is the majestic Suleymaniye Mosque, on the other — the Bosporus shining in the sun. And there is a cozy terrace between them. We got up here around noon. Seagulls soared in the sky above the city, and tourists were leisurely having breakfast on the terrace. The tables were full of food: cheeses of all shades and flavors, jams, honey, fresh pastries, nuts, figs… And all this is part of the legendary Turkish breakfast, which is served here for 1,750 liras. They say it's enough for three people, and looking at the neighboring tables, we had no doubt.: This is a feast against the backdrop of the most beautiful view in Istanbul. But we were a little late and didn't have time for breakfast. Instead, we ordered Adana kebab and shish-tavuk, dishes that Turkey cannot help but love. The aroma of spicy grilled meat, coals, smoke, fresh tortillas and cool ayran is a combination that is impossible to break away from. It is in such places that you feel the real spirit of Istanbul, sipping Turkish coffee and watching a flock of seagulls fly over the roof and disappear somewhere far beyond the Bosphorus.

Every time I arrive in Istanbul, I come to this restaurant. There is a beautiful panorama of the city, stunning views, delicious food, comfortable sofas, seagulls fly. It's a very atmospheric place. The prices are very pleasant for such a beautiful place.

Location and views - 10 points out of 10! Seagulls add atmosphere to this place. We managed to feed 2 people, even despite the gusty wind, they managed to grab pizza slices literally on the fly! But the service did not cause much admiration. The waiter did not approach us for a long time, despite the fact that there were many empty tables and the establishment was not yet fully equipped. Perhaps the main life begins to boil in this institution late at night and this is the reason. But when our order was accepted, it arrived quickly enough and it was delicious. There are more pluses than minuses in this establishment.

It's a cool, beautiful place. The view from the roof in the evening and after sunset is breathtaking. The food is delicious. The service is good. The only thing to note is that dessert was brought immediately with the main course. So far, if it's his, the ice cream on dessert has managed to melt. We need to warn you. But that didn't spoil the impression of this great place in any way. The price of the dishes is the same as everywhere else in the old town. But a gorgeous panoramic view and a dancing live show.

But we need to check the bill carefully, they wanted to charge us for 4 cups of tea, although we ordered 2. We apologized and recalculated, thank you. And so all tourists and foreigners in Turkey strive to cheat, they have made sure more than once and in more than one place. Tips are also indicated here, 10 percent of the total amount. A good place with instagram views is located on one of the 7 hills, I recommend coming before sunset to catch the day and night views, the views are wonderful. Honestly, I didn't expect such a place in Suleymaniye... The view was already legendary, the food was just as delicious. His hookah was very nice, it added pleasure to our enjoyment. On 10.01.2025 we visited this restaurant and came for breakfast. The restaurant is undergoing renovation, the upper veranda with a view of Sulaimaniyah is closed, there is no information about the renovation on the website. The lower veranda with a view of the Bosphorus is open. We ordered a Turkish breakfast of 1350 lira, for such a price the breakfast is meager, 2 boiled eggs, vegetable roast, and we were offered to order a menemen separately. All this is nothing, but they brought us very, very, very poorly brewed tea, and for a moment we are in Turkey, where tea is a cult. And they forgot to bring it at all until we reminded them. The service is minus 1, we are very disappointed with the breakfast, the view is beautiful. We do not recommend it.

This is definitely the most beautiful place to go in Suleymaniye! I love the scenery, the food, the ambience. Especially the terrace is incredibly beautiful, you can spend a pleasant time watching the historical texture of Istanbul. I liked the place, the view is gorgeous. They didn't take any food, just a hookah. The service cost 565 + 10%, but for a very long time they could not figure out which hookah with which taste and the staff did not know the composition of the mixtures (they had to call 5 different people). I like light ones, I liked it, but my friends like heavier ones, they said not so much. Although we ordered an average one.
