The receptionist is friendly. They are greeted by African Americans. The room is old but clean, the bathroom is not in the subject at all - it's inconvenient. The spa pool is large, the hammam stinks, the sauna is normal. The breakfasts are very poor. Above, after one and a half km, the Medeu cable car. A mountain river flows opposite. In general, it's normal, but the breakfasts and the hammam are sad.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. Everything is fine, starting from the reception area. Cozy rooms, excellent service. Cleaning, change of bed linen and towels daily. The girls know their job and clean efficiently. I also really liked the pool and spa area. The only thing I took off one star for is that there is no anti-slip coating on the floor in the hammam, and there is also no warning that the floor is slippery. That's why my mom had an accident- she fell there and severely injured her leg on the first night of her stay at the hotel. Which greatly overshadowed our vacation. The hotel staff responded to this emergency. We bought medicines and everything necessary in the current situation. Breakfast was brought to her room. But the aftertaste of what happened remained. And the consequences of the fall are the forced sick leave and the upcoming long-term treatment and restoration of health. I would like the management of the hotel and the spa to take precautions so that this does not happen to hotel guests again. But over the next 9 days, the situation in the spa did not change, that is, the mats from the hammam, which were allegedly cleaned that day and sent to the dry cleaner (according to the administrator), did not appear. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent and there is a choice of dishes: Fruits, vegetables, meat products, porridge, omelets, boiled eggs, desserts, sandwiches, cheese, yoghurts, cheesecakes, cottage cheese, etc. In general, I recommend the hotel.

I highly recommend not staying at the Samal Hotel. The reviews on all platforms are good, in fact they are weak 3 stars of the Moscow level. If it weren't for the fatigue after a long journey, we would have taken our things and left. The only advantage is breakfast. Of the cons: 1. Super dirty carpet in the room: hair, dirt, debris, etc. It feels like it hasn't been vacuumed for a year. 2. Cracks in the bathroom floor, the cup holders will get wet. 3. Bath towels are wiped clean, just a little more and there will be holes. 4. The terry-cloth robe crumbled in my hands, and the threads kept coming out. 5. There is a black eyesore on the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. 6. The roof on the balcony is full of holes, and the floors are dirty again. 7. There was a pillow on one chair on the balcony, not on the other, there was no table, there were on all other balconies. 8. The SPA is the worst we've ever been to. Tired towels, no slippers. A hammam without a shower!!! It's super unhygienic! The sauna is too dry. And there were some villi floating in the pool. 9. Employees shamelessly sit on their phones, watch videos without headphones, or talk on video. 10. The hotel looks super tired.

A wonderful hotel! Convenient location: close to Medeu and the Chymbulak Ski complex. It takes 5-7 minutes to get to them from the hotel by taxi. Very tasty and varied breakfasts. Very tasty dinners! The hotel is quiet and cozy. There is a swimming pool, hills, sauna, SPA. From the window there is a view of the mountains, which is especially pleasing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. The podemnik is 10 minutes away by public transport. You can call a taxi or take a bus, which are walking quite often. What I can say is good - excellent breakfasts and proximity to Cimbulac. Of the cons. Old furniture, cracked tiles on the balcony, I almost hurt my leg, there is no table and chairs on the balcony, the windows are right on the road. Good sound insulation, but if you open the window, the Speedy racers are in all their glory all night. On the very first night, she started coughing, after taking antihistamines, it became clear that she was allergic. I looked at how they were cleaning - something was vacuumed and that's it, and there was carpet everywhere - both in the corridors and in the rooms and old curtains a la drapes. Tulle, by the way, with a melted hole. I ran a wet cloth over the carpet - tin. She asked to change the bed linen to washed without special equipment and knock out the pillow. We did it, it became a little easier. I am not a severe allergic person. Everything is +- standard, but, in fact, I did not sleep normally for a single night. Everything was very pre-paid, I had to stay and somehow get out of it. There is a huge amount of chlorine in the spa. Everything itches afterwards. In general, something needs to be changed. Besides the kitchen, they have a huge respect)
