This is a reopened hotel that called swissotel Al
Murooi. Good but not the best for that price in Dubai Downtown. Strong 4 of 5 from my pov.
Staff are polite and always open to support you, but the internal process sometimes are not clear, for instance, why they call in your room 30 minutes before your checking out, and then they don't check it, and you have to wait while they check your room and bar for extra points...Idk.
And secondly, I went to this hotel in May, 2023, there was renovation of indoor areas, including swimming pools.
Breakfasts table are not rich for 5 stars hotel, but it's enough for start your productive day.
Positive side is location of this hotel. This is the almost best option if you plan visit Dubai Mall areas,
5-10 minutes by walk.
The nearest beach is La mer, around 15-20 minutes by car.

Swissotel Al Murooj is located in Dubai, close to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa Skyscraper. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there is a view of the skyscrapers. Swissotel Al Murooj is very well located in every sense, near the metro, 10 minutes to Dubai Mall, convenient access for taxis. The staff is mostly English-speaking, but there are Russian speakers at the reception. The breakfasts are standard, the dinners are delicious. Every evening a new theme (marine, Italian) The room we were given is not very good, without a balcony, the curtains are strange, dirty, the windows do not open. The room is spacious, but tired, in need of repair. We did not change the room, because we came only for the night. About cleaning the room, they had to remind us, they forgot about us. We took a 2-room apartment. The room is already quite shabby, but overall OK ... very comfortable beds, slept super well.
The cleaning is mediocre. We had the room cleaned once. Vacuumed for show only in the living room, the vacuum cleaner was not turned on in other rooms. Washing dishes is a plus. The refrigerator did not freeze at all, yes, the masters were ready to come, but only in our presence, we were always walking somewhere and there was no time for that. But I want to go to a room where everything is ready and working, given that the hotel claims that it is 5*.
The breakfasts are great!! Diverse, everything is there.
The pools are good, but there are few sunbeds in the far pool, which is for residents. The road to the pool is a separate topic, in order to get there, you need to complete a quest. But of course you get used to it.
The spa complex. Bad. Haman is not working. The shower is only hot. After training, well, not at all. The Jacuzzi is broken.
Transfer to the beach. The horror! No one warned that there are no towels, umbrellas, or sun beds on the beach! Google assured us that everything is on the beach. But no. +32, and there's nowhere to hide with a child. The nearest shops are closed, there is a construction site nearby. There are a lot of people, all huddled under the shade of trees. Maybe when everything is working, and there is a rental of sunbeds with umbrellas, the beach is nothing, but we were unlucky.
I advise Mamzar beach, drive 15/30 minutes depending on the load of the road, 60/80 dirhams, entrance is 5 dirhams, but it's super! Several coves, lifeguards, a park, rental of sun beds, umbrellas, there is a barbecue area, white sand.

We were given a view of the garden and pools, as well as a high floor - as we requested. It's usually hot everywhere at this time of year, but when swimming in the pool, we didn't really notice the heat- I think because there's a lot of shade and a garden. I really liked the food: there was a huge vat of pilaf with almost a whole lamb, and sushi, and seafood, even the freshest oysters and lobsters.

The hotel is located in the center of Dubai. Within walking distance of Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa. You can immediately note the inconvenience of driving a car to the hotel. I liked the hotel, the green area in the center of Dubai is just a godsend!!! The pool is small, but there was enough space. Very convenient location, Dubai Mall walked every evening, there is also a subway. They took full board and for good reason, at lunch and dinner they tortured them with fish delicacies-crabs, lobsters, oysters, etc. Baking is generally a separate topic!!! Breakfasts are weak. Everything is fine in the hotel, except for the shower, uncomfortable, not regulated, perhaps that's all. I definitely recommend it!

I liked this hotel! The rooms are large, the repair is not new, everything is working properly, clean, without complaints. Breakfast is good and long. Dinner is also until 22:00, convenient. There is a pedestrian road to the Dubai Mall, if it's not hot, then you can walk to the Museum of the Future, and to the metro station.
The territory is small, if not combined with apartments, the pool is small, but with temperature control.
There are several bars at the hotel, but they do not interfere, there is no noise.

Disgusting hotel. It doesn 't even pull for 4 - . Solid 3 with a minus. Don't ever come here. The photos are beautiful only on the Internet, from + a good location to Dubai mall and fountains, a clean snow-white bed is all. Not bad food, decent. The territory is not all at guests' disposal, well, when you walk through it, you will see how everything is dirty, dirty, the apartments have a separate story in the rooms, the sockets are not euro, you need to run to splice adapters in order to charge your phone, laptop, dirty, the curtains are crumpled, the tulle is dirty. If a video could be backed up to the review, then I would definitely post it. Who writes positive reviews, they are probably sloppy themselves and this is the norm for them. While we were checking in, we changed three rooms, as there was a stink in the rooms. The carpet is all old worn out. In short, fuuuu.... well, in general, we wanted the center did not want 1 line to the sea. Now I regret the price is about the same, and everything is so bad from the sea. It's better to take it closer to the sea for this money. As a result, we were accommodated in the building where the reception is. It's a completely different matter! There are even more accessories in the bathroom. The linen is good. It's not a long drive to the hotel from the airport (by the way, neither a certificate, nor a PCR, nor a health declaration, nor an appendix were required at Dubai Airport). Upon check-in, we paid 200 dirhams for the tour.collection, in 10 days. The Russian-speaking administrator gave a small number for 10 fl. with a view of the construction site, but they asked to replace it with a better one as a gift for others, moved the next day to a spacious room on the 9th floor, with a large TV, a coffee machine, 0.5 water (special thanks to the cleaner, replenished the water every day), there were bathrobes, slippers, soap, lotion, gel, shampoo, there is no dental kit. There are a lot of sockets, all kinds of plugs are inserted without an adapter. I was very pleased with the presence of an ironing board with an iron. The air conditioner can be turned off by yourself, the view from the window is super, the window itself opened and the husband watered the growing bush, which after 10 days noticeably increased in size. The breakfasts were excellent - they fried a delicious omelet or scrambled eggs, there were cakes, nutella, various jams, honey, cupcakes, Arabic tortillas, toasts, puffs, croissants, samosa with lamb or herbs, couscous, rice, baked potatoes, sausages, fresh and stewed vegetables, gravies with chickpeas, sauces, nuts, raisins, fried mushrooms, 3 types of sausage, oatmeal porridge, dry flakes, various cheeses, including with mold, lychee, pineapples, watermelon, peaches, papaya, melon, oranges, yoghurts, natural mango juices, multifruit, coffee, black tea, etc. Tranfer to La Mer beach with a view of the Burj Khalifa, 2 times, with a sandy shore, excellent entry, but there are no free sunbeds and towels from the hotel, costs ~6000r. The location of the hotel itself is excellent, you go out to the right and have a view of the Burj Khalifa, there is also a passage to the metro. We took a sightseeing tour from Fan San, we really liked it and we traveled a lot ourselves. The MMI liquor store is located at the Emirates Towers station, just behind the KFC, selling only by passport, do not forget. We ate seafood, bought it ourselves at the fish market, and cooked it nearby in a cafe. And in general, it is convenient to get from our hotel by metro to any place, so next time only here!

The hotel is 15 years old. Tired. What you see in the photo is an apartment complex and a large swimming pool has nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel itself is a building on the side with a small pool, if you want to swim, I do not recommend it. The rooms were repaired apparently. But there are remnants of the past. The curtains are crumpled ancient. A gnawed door. There is Internet, but it does not fly. Russian Union Pay cards are accepted, as well as everywhere else in the district so far. Breakfast is monotonous and not delicious. The water pressure in the shower is wonderful. The hair dryer is good, but to blow you need to keep a tight button, the finger gets tired. Shapmunki are as simple as possible. There is a bathrobe and slippers. The bed is pleasant. But the mattress and pillows are hard. I'm in agony. I understand people who drive with their pillow now. The pillows themselves under the pillowcase are all in pellets.
Nearby in 5 minutes on foot Dubai Mall. At the reception, they also bought tickets to the Museum of the Future with a markup through resale. Not to get there for the next dates. In general, you can live, but I will not come a second time. How good reviews appear: upon arrival, you are asked to scan the quarkode, and then they say they will help. They give a rating of 5, and add a review. Well done!)
By the way, a hotel from the Accor system, if you book on their website, you can catch good discounts, they have many more hotels in Dubai, including much better and cheaper!
