We have stayed at the One&Only Royal Mirage many times, and each time we return here, we feel like we are coming to a small oasis in the middle of Dubai. This is one of the greenest hotels in the city: a huge, well-maintained territory surrounded by gardens, palm trees and quiet, cozy corners where you can just relax and enjoy the silence. The cuisine here is always excellent — delicious, varied, with a large selection of restaurants for every taste. From breakfasts to dinners, everything is prepared neatly, beautifully and with soul. It is especially pleasant that the quality has remained stable for many years. The pool is simply magnificent — large, comfortable, with a soft relaxing atmosphere. The sun beds are arranged so that no one bothers anyone, and the calm music and greenery around create an ideal area for complete relaxation. The staff is a separate reason to come back. Polite, friendly, attentive staff who really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And the rooms are spacious, stylish, very cozy, with thoughtful details and excellent care. The hotel's spa is excellent: professional craftsmen, pleasant atmosphere and high level of service are the perfect place to completely reboot. One&Only Royal Mirage is a hotel that you want to come back to again and again. It gives you a feeling of peace, care and real relaxation.

You can take a yacht (I don't know if it's included in the price, we didn't have time to use it) to the One&Only Hotel on Palma. In general, the rest left extremely pleasant memories, despite the presence of a construction site. But the construction site in Dubai seemed to be everywhere. The breakfasts are excellent, and we had dinners as a gift, which is very pleasant. They were held in 4 restaurants to choose from - 3 themed restaurants, 1 with a buffet, drinks were paid for at dinners. At the central entrance, when we needed a taxi, for some reason they tried to offer us only premium, but we can insist and they will call a regular taxi. Since our departure on the last day was very late, we checked out at 12 a.m. and checked into the luggage room and were able to stay at the hotel using the services until the transfer arrived. I really liked it! We recommend it.

And most importantly, all the numerous staff of the hotel did everything possible to make us satisfied. We have been vacationing in Dubai constantly for 20 years and now we liked this hotel more than the jaded Jumeirah Alqasr and his neighbors. Perhaps only Mandarin can match the service. In short, a great hotel, I recommend it. The only disadvantage is that it is relatively far from the Dubai Mall, but we came to the Yacht Show, so we did not go shopping much.

There is a children's club for children, where they really study with children. Even our 9-year-old "awl on soap" went there with pleasure, despite his love of gadgets. The hotel has a cooled swimming pool, which saves a lot from the heat. Umbrellas on the beach are at a respectful distance from each other and you can't hear the neighbors' conversations. Drinks are being served on the beach. You can order fresh coconuts. There is a button to call the waiter. A peddler walks along the beach and around the pool with oils and sun creams and offers to use them for free. Spread canapes of watermelon, melon and pineapple. There is a huge minibar in the room. You can order any number of cleaning per day in your room. Of the minuses, which I would call a nuance. The hotel is located in a bay at the foot of the legendary artificially filled palm tree, with a large number of yachts. Due to the low flow of water, the water in the summer season is just hot, but clean, although the presence of a large number of yachts in the bay is confusing. Around the hotel there is a stone jungle of modern skyscrapers. You don't see the horizon. But these disadvantages are crossed out by excellent service and a beautiful garden on the territory. The sand on the beach is white, imported from the Maldives. There are simply no bad rooms in the hotel.

There are cafes and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is so varied, refined and rich that 11 days were not enough for us to taste everything offered! At any time, you can order food and drink delivery to the room, if you are not satisfied with what the refrigerator is stuffed with.

It is possible to order food in the room. The rooms on the ground floor have access to the lawn in front of the hotel. The lawn is mowed every other day. Lots of pools, spas. There are beach cafes with the possibility to order food and drinks to the chaise longue. The cleaning and room service are excellent. Football training sessions were held for children. And even a match for adults was organized. Now about the cons. Small black insects appeared in the bathroom, slightly smaller than ants. I had to call the exterminators. The treatment was carried out three times before the insects disappeared. There are no outlets for using a hair dryer in the bathroom. I had to dry my hair in the room. And even the sockets in the room were on the opposite wall from the mirror. But these minor troubles did not spoil the overall impression of staying at this hotel.

The large swimming pool turned out to be under restoration, there is no official info anywhere! so - either sit in the boiled sea (end of May), or in the pool with children (with a slide), the third pool is only for spa buildings! Absurd - not otherwise. Officially, you operate the entire territory of the hotel - there are no restrictions on the hotel cards! There are no restrictions! As a result, choosing a hotel with a large territory, which influenced the return to this hotel, you remain without a pool. There is another option - drift for paid sunbeds on this territory from 300 bucks for two! - where the music is constantly hammering and there is no relaxation! Plus - they built a peninsula right opposite, now the sea is constantly dirty and the accompanying yacht parties in the style of a popuri. Besides the service, there is nothing human left! A complete disappointment. The fitness center is worse than in Jamaica. Breakfast is also very modest. In general, who chooses this hotel chain, do not see each other by name. Everything is very sparse and strained here.

Paying 1.5 ml per week, we get: they stole an expensive branded bag on the first day (after cleaning), when they made a fuss, they quickly put it back. They took breakfast and dinner, but even water was paid for dinner, 4 thousand rubles were given for 4 juices. There is little food about the word at all, for such a hotel, most likely to eat in paid restaurants, fruit on one plate (really)there is no choice at all. There are 2 restaurants open at lunch and the choice of food even for money is not great. For dinner, if you pay to eat, you always need to book. Children's room (this is the first time I see it)from the age of 4, if your child is 3 years old, he can't even stay with his parent, and the child has nothing to do all the rest. Despite the fact that the hotel was built more than 20 years ago, it is in excellent condition to this day! it is possible that this is a considerable merit of the general manager of the hotel, who has not changed since the construction of the hotel to this day - you can feel the hand of an excellent manager who loves his job. In my opinion, the most important advantage of this hotel is its truly huge territory: the length of the plot of land on which this hotel "stretches" along the Persian Gulf is about 1 kilometer!!! the entire territory is buried in greenery and is not just planted, but carefully cleaned, trimmed and treated from mosquitoes, flies and other insects. A chic private beach (also 1 km long) provides an excellent opportunity to lie far enough away from other guests. and if you are lucky and you are staying in the Residence and Spa building, then you will enjoy almost secluded accommodation, since the neighboring sunbeds will be at least 10 meters away!! I do not know of any other hotel in Dubai where it would be so comfortable to stay on the beach. a good set of restaurants and cafes. friendly staff who does not forget to say welcome again when they see you for the second time or more. it's nice to feel welcome.
