We liked everything, the prices were reasonable, the staff was attentive, in general, we sat well, the kitchen was at the height of the price slightly above average. Basically a good pub to spend time with. I liked that there is no music and there is an opportunity to have a heart-to-heart conversation. I've been to this cafe more than once, I like everything, both the interior and the cuisine, I recommend it. There is a separate room with billiards and karaoke on the 2nd floor, I was mostly there with a group of friends.

I've known this place for over 15 years for sure.
I used to live nearby and every Friday they relieved stress there. Having arrived in Almaty the other day, I went with my comrade-in-arms and his wife. Well, I'll tell you, I have something to compare with, the prices here are higher than the average in Almaty.
We ordered beer from Gorynych's brewery - a complete disappointment - the price for 3L, 7300tg, but it tastes like in the movie "it's not beer that destroys people, water destroys people," to be honest, I'm not thrilled.
The kitchen is good, but I think for such a cafe-level establishment the prices are overestimated by 2 times. The price for a stick of kebab 250g at 3500.3900tenge is not justified. I know establishments at a higher level where the most delicate shish kebab can be eaten at 1500tg for 300g.
As a result, we ordered for three people: shish kebab 2 portions, sausages 2 portions, grilled vegetables 2 portions, beer 2 times 3l., the total bill turned out to be about 45t, tenge.
I compare the figures with similar establishments in Moscow, I will say this, in Moscow we pay 30-40% less for this. This is not a restaurant, but a cafe.
But here the traffic is 24 * 7 in all establishments, the load even in the middle of the week is almost at the level of 90%.
Demand creates supply and the level of service falls, as they say in the people, "they got too much."

This place is one of the few civilized places in the city that convey the atmosphere of old Alma-Ata: tranquility, lack of pomposity, incomprehensible ports, friendliness, very good menu. You can just sit in a pleasant atmosphere, or you can celebrate an important event. Meat, especially pork entrecote, is made simply divinely. I really like this place.

On December 30, we booked a table and came to dinner, ordered steaks.. . Overcooked and slightly burnt on both sides, this is absolutely not what we expected. At the next table, a group of men who had been drinking was swearing obscenely (after they asked the waiter to make a remark). Something went wrong this time (by the way, not for the first time). You may have changed chefs. Please pay attention and return to the old kind, tasty and irreplaceable Gorynych. They are your regular visitors so far.

You can sit on the outdoor veranda (which we did), you can indoors - nothing spoiled the atmosphere of privacy. . Our company was sitting next to 3 other companies in the gazebo, but we didn't hear the neighbors, I hope, and we didn't bother anyone. The food was fresh and cooked with us. Salads are delicious and appetizingly laid on plates. The drinks are delicious. It was cool enough and the courtyard, covered with grapes, clusters of which hung over his head, was conducive to conversation and relaxation. Everything was fine. We will come here again.

I liked the beer and the barbecue. The interior of the pub is ordinary and you should not expect any frills.
At first I thought that the pub was a small place. Then in the process I found out that there is a second hall, as well as gazebos.
Beer is brewed by themselves. It has a pleasant velvety taste, with a moderate bitterness. The lamb kebab is not bad.
