A wonderful hotel. Perhaps the only one in Kazakhstan with a rooftop pool. The room stock is a little outdated, but in general everything is clean. The Italian dishes at the local restaurant are really prepared authentic according to Italian recipes. There is a nice 25-meter indoor swimming pool and a spa area.

The hotel leaves a mixed impression. Tired rooms, the wind blows through the cracks in the windows, the floor is covered in tiles, which does not add comfort. There is not a single place in two rooms to work at a computer, there is no normal table: either low coffee tables or a bar with uncomfortable chairs). But ... the mattress is comfortable, the shower is quite (watering can without lime plaque), there is an electric towel rack. Breakfast for 3+, there is no normal bar. Now to the main advantages: a 25m pool in the basement, a location on the riverbank, there are establishments nearby. I'll stop next time, the advantages outweigh.

The location is excellent, on the shore of the Urals, not in winter, it will certainly be very pleasant to walk here! The hotel is not new, but it is cozy enough, there is a swimming pool, a steam room, a fitness room, I liked the breakfast (there is a choice), the hot/cold water switch did not work in the shower, boiling water was pouring, the star was removed for this.

River Palace is an excellent location, and the service is just super, the hotel administrator acts promptly, speaks clearly and calmly to all questions that arise, the cleaning service cleans perfectly, everything in the rooms sparkles from the wet room to the main room. Everything is simple in the room, there are smeared mosquitoes on the walls, etc. the TV is small, the bed is creaky, the Breakfasts are for three.It's a little sparse. In room 12, there is a sewer, they could not replace or solve the problem. The administrator does not know the password for the Wi-Fi on the 1st floor. There is garbage in the flower beds. The sea is far away, the transfer is rare. It's uncomfortable. The SEA hotel in Alushta for the same +/- money is incomparably the best level. I won't come back, I don't recommend it.

They checked me in for 30 minutes, I don't know what he was doing there, he was calling somewhere all the time, running, checking. But in the end everything worked out and I got a room with an iron key and a large plastic room number in a bundle. Back to the 90s. The room is not bad, but the surroundings are depressing. The pool is normal, but it's cold there, a sauna for two people. Really two. The third one will not enter, only standing. The fourth is just in line outside. It's a strange hotel. 3 stars.

Two stars is not only a rating, but also the real level of this hotel. The staff is rude, from reception to cleaners and restaurant staff. They don't know how to communicate, the service is zero, towels are not changed, the rooms are not five stars at all. A month ago, I lived in the 3* Minsk Hilton, and the rooms were better there, and the food was in the restaurant. The food here is also tasteless, and it will be clarified twenty times whether you are exactly supposed to have breakfast/ lunch here or whether you should be driven away. If the windows overlook the embankment, prepare for the noise. The elevator gets stuck periodically, and there is no elevator operator on duty. At the same time, the hotel positions itself as the best in Atyrau. If this is the case, then the city needs to be urgently saved from such a hotel. It spoils the impression of a beautiful city.

The main restaurant is not big, but it is quite cozy. The cuisine is mostly European and not to say that it is delicious. The restaurant staff is responsive, they work quickly. We stayed at this hotel in June 2022; in general, we liked everything- we lived in a two-bedroom apartment; the room is spacious, clean; the renovation in the hotel is already a little outdated and is asking for renovation, but not yet critical; among the advantages is an excellent location on the waterfront with a nice view; a rooftop pool and another indoor; hospitable attitude of the staff-went to the meeting and checked us in much earlier (at 9 a.m. instead of their usual check-in time at 14:00). What can I say if this hotel is even on souvenir magnets from Atyrau😄 I didn't go to breakfast (which everyone scolds so much in other reviews), but my husband was also surprised that at 9 a.m. (that is, a few hours before the end of breakfast), none of the dishes were updated.
