Very impressive, definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in history) The Malbork Castle (German Ordensburg Marienburg), which gave rise to the city of the same name (now the city of Malbork in Poland), is the largest medieval brick castle in the world, one of the standards of brick Gothic, a historical monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle in honor of the Virgin Mary was founded by the Teutonic Knights on the shore of the Nogat (mouth of the Vistula) in 1274. The castle served as the residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order in the 15th century.

A stunning architectural monument, definitely worth a visit! It is convenient to get from the city by train, the tour of the castle itself took 5 hours, it is very comfortable and interesting with an audio guide that can be taken in Russian. Tickets to the observation tower were purchased separately. The territory is well maintained, the castle itself is also nice to be in such a place. I recommend it!

There is a feeling of delight from such locks. But you need to love history in order to understand where you are and what you are observing. It's huge, it's a complex, plan the whole day.
