Very impressive, definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in history) The Malbork Castle (German Ordensburg Marienburg), which gave rise to the city of the same name (now the city of Malbork in Poland), is the largest medieval brick castle in the world, one of the standards of brick Gothic, a historical monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle in honor of the Virgin Mary was founded by the Teutonic Knights on the shore of the Nogat (mouth of the Vistula) in 1274. The castle served as the residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order in the 15th century.

A stunning architectural monument, definitely worth a visit! It is convenient to get from the city by train, the tour of the castle itself took 5 hours, it is very comfortable and interesting with an audio guide that can be taken in Russian. Tickets to the observation tower were purchased separately. The territory is well maintained, the castle itself is also nice to be in such a place. I recommend it!

There is a feeling of delight from such locks. But you need to love history in order to understand where you are and what you are observing. It's huge, it's a complex, plan the whole day.

A super place, if there is a must-visit opportunity, it is very convenient to get from Gdansk by train. both high-speed and simple are very comfortable. In the castle itself, you can purchase both an audio guide (in Russian) and the guide in kind (but in English). We had a great day ( although they are Poles ... everywhere they insert the phrase that the Russians razed their castle to the ground in 1945). At 17 o'clock we took a high-speed train to the sea, very tasty fish cafes, white sand, perfectly clean. We arrived in Gdansk in the evening and returned to Kaliningrad by regular bus the next day .Super trip from Friday to Sunday ,

As for me, this is the most outstanding engineering structure of the Middle Ages. The heart of the Teutonic Order. I bow low to the restorers who have been restoring this architectural monument for many years after the destruction of 1945.

The majestic structure plunges back into the past for many years. In the evening, the castle is beautifully illuminated....

It's a great place, aesthetically pleasing, and the audio guides are awesome. Not the same at the Hermitage.

Very handsome, majestic! One day is not enough to watch. The rooms with weapons and armor are very interesting.

A wonderful place, a very comfortable atmosphere, there is no language barrier, thanks to the audio guide. To put it mildly, the score is not in favor of the Kaliningrad region, unfortunately
