I really liked the hotel: cozy, clean and quiet. The breakfast is traditional in the buffet system, the dinner is ordered, too hearty, you can't eat everything. The view of the canal is fascinating, especially in the evening. There are metro stations and shops nearby. The free Al Mamzar beach is beyond praise - there are few people, it is clean, there is always a place under the palm trees. The hotel provides towels for the beach.

A decent hotel for its stardom. The rooms are clean, cleaning is daily. The breakfasts are good, we didn't stay hungry. View of the Burj Khalifa from the room and the creek)
Near the old town, they are transported across the creek for 1-2 dirhams. You can choose a better stop-get a river walk.
There are 2 metro stations, a bus station, a large supermarket day to day, various cafes nearby.
Russian Russians and Belarusians are staying at the hotel, and the staff speaks Russian.
Overall, the hotel is good.
But the area itself is a little far from Dubai Marina, it takes 30-40 minutes to get by metro.
If you need a car, it is better to look for a hotel in the Marina area.
For a more relaxing holiday, the Deira area is suitable, but you will need to get to the main attractions by transport.
I liked the beach where the transfer takes me, there are very few people there and the entrance is only 5 dirhams. When there are women's days on this beach, you can go to the nearest beach for free (transfer takes you there)

A very pleasant hotel. The main advantage is the location. It's close to the metro, and it's not far from the center either. The rooms are clean. Someone wrote in the reviews that the breakfasts are monotonous...complete nonsense, for a week, the main dishes have never been repeated.
The staff is friendly, there is a Russian-speaking staff at the reception. There is a daily bus service to the beach.
The only negative was that the furniture wasn't very new, and our bed was sooo creaky. 😳
In general, if you need a budget hotel, then it's a great option.

Great hotel. The hotel is old (in a good way) with a soul! Everything is imbued with history. Old furniture that you want to touch. Attentive staff. The smell of incense at the entrance and the interiors are overpowering. The view of the canal is amazing. I specially chose a room with a view. There is a transfer to the paid Almamzar beach from 8 to 12 and from 9 to 13, recording the day before. The beach is also great. In general, I expected the worst from the district, but everything turned out to be much better. The metro is also not far away, no more than 15 minutes at a calm pace.

When I was booking the tour, I didn't read the reviews well and bought it with a view of the market or whatever it's called, or rather just a building under construction, there was no limit to my sadness and I had to pay a tidy sum to be settled with a view of the canal. These are, of course, two different types and sensations. The canal is beautiful during the day, and especially at night with boats and lights, but construction is also underway on the embankment. At 5 a.m., a Mule screams, but the child and I only heard it once, but the tourists said that some people wake up every day from this. Russian-speaking staff, all friendly. The breakfasts are monotonous to my taste, but at the same time delicious. The beach, where the bus takes you from the hotel, is wonderful, clean, 4 bays, there are not many people, there are umbrellas with benches, there are many changing rooms with toilets and warm water in the shower- this is just a gift from fate) we went to a paid 5 dirhams, a construction site for free, they said that there was very little space, and shadows. The metro is close- it's super convenient!! The neighborhood is full of migrants, but no one pays attention to anyone- it's also great! We were satisfied with the rest. Dubai is very comfortable in December.

We really liked this hotel. It is located in a very beautiful place. There are many options where to walk nearby. I chose this location on purpose, because I love the sight of the old market, it awakens some strong emotions inside. The view was taken specially to the canal and every evening we sat here on the balcony, admiring the canal and this old market.
Behind the hotel on a parallel street is very busy, there are many shops and cafes of all kinds at interesting prices. There is a huge souvenir shop where you can't buy anything, the prices are just ridiculous. The nearest metro station is 8-10 minutes walk away, the bus stop is nearby. Very friendly staff at the hotel, at the reception even know Russian. By the way, the food at the hotel, if ordered in the room, is inexpensive and very tasty. The interior is very beautiful.

Nice hotel, decorated to look like Turkey in the middle of the last century. The room was the cheapest for 4 people, on the 4th floor overlooking the parking lot. At 9 a.m., I was awakened by the sounds of a hammer drill and a grinder from the construction site.
The breakfasts are quite good. There is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception.
If you travel by car, an important point is that the hotel does not have its own parking! There are 4 large paid parking lots across the street, free of charge from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., followed by 3 dirhams/hour. BUT, finding a place is still a quest. I circled for 30 minutes on the first night, and for almost an hour on the second.

They cook very decently and the food is varied, great respect to the chef! The hotel is located near the metro, which is especially convenient for tourists who want to save money on excursions (prices "bite"). By metro you can get to the "Museum of the Future" and to the Burj Khalifa Tower, etc. A special transport will take you to the beach, you only need to make an appointment in advance, you will also be given beach towels! The rooms are clean and large. Linen change and room cleaning daily. Very tasty and varied breakfasts.
The staff is polite and friendly, many speak Russian.
The hotel provides a shuttle service to the paid Al Mamzar Beach and the free beach.
The entrance fee to Al Mamzar beach is 5 dirhams per person. The bus departs from the hotel at 9 o'clock, back at 13 o'clock.
The hotel is located in the Deira area, near the Banias station of the green line of the metro, as well as the Union transfer station.

Inside you will be greeted by an interesting unusual interior, hospitable staff and quite comfortable rooms. The hotel has its own restaurant with an excellent selection of dishes for both breakfast and lunch. Moreover, lunch with such a choice is not worth any exorbitant money, the price is quite acceptable. I also liked the presence of a gym with a large selection of simulators for both strength and cardio loads. The view from the windows can be both on the neighboring building and on the picturesque canal, but the view of the canal slightly increases the cost of the room. The hotel also has its own bus, which takes you daily and then picks you up from the free Al Mamzar beach. The overall impression is that I liked everything, I recommend it.

The star rating corresponds to 4 stars of the hotel. Nice spacious rooms with a good view of the Creek, good food, friendly staff, there is a gym upstairs. The hotel is certainly not new. But you can live near the Union metro station and Balance Square. Convenient for someone who needs old Deira Dubai. Free transfer to and from the beach, with towels provided. Al Mamzar Beach is 15 minutes away.

There are several metro stations nearby, but it's not very fast to get to the modern center (30-40 minutes).
But opposite the hotel, across the canal, is the historical part of the city, very pleasant for walking) It is very easy to get there - on small boats used by locals (the fare is the smallest cost in Dubai for everything, not only for transport).

Nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts. Only in our standard room there was no closet with shelves. If the room falls on the end of the house, it is noisy from the air conditioners. The location of the hotel is excellent, near the metro, 6 stations to Burj Khalifa. They take you to the beach every day at 8 and 9 o'clock, and pick you up at 11.45 and 13.00. A nice bonus after the beach they pour you apple juice or coffee (light). We had a rest from April 13 to 24, 2024. We had a great rest despite the downpour.

We had a vacation with my husband and grandson from April 15 to April 28, 2024. I liked the hotel. We checked in earlier as soon as the room was prepared. We rested in the Executive room, it is divided into two zones: an entrance hall with a sofa, a TV, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a table, a tea area and a living room with a huge bed, a TV, an armchair, a wardrobe, a safe, a table, air conditioning; there is a balcony with a small dryer. An ironing board with an iron was brought upon request. The hotel has a Russian-speaking staff, they will explain everything and help with everything. All the staff are very friendly. The rooms are cleaned very clean every day, linen and towels are changed daily, there is no need to ask, they do everything themselves. The breakfast buffet is varied, delicious, there is always meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, salads, nuts, dates, juices, etc. The lunches (a la carte selection) are very decent. There is a transfer to Al Mamsar beach, 8.00, 9.00, back 12.00 and 13.00, towels are given to the beach, juice and coffee are greeted from the beach. We have been vacationing in the UAE since 2011, most often we choose the Deira area, since it is convenient to get to Al Mamsar beach from here (we really like it, several beach areas, free toilets, showers, tables with awnings, few vacationers, inexpensive entrance -5 dirhams). We are currently relaxing at the hotel and met NG on the balcony overlooking Burj Khalifa and Dubai. The view from the balcony is great and we watched the fireworks. That's why we like everything. Within walking distance is a large metro with a direct red line to all the sights. Now I'll start singing the praises of the hotel itself. We are frequent visitors to the UAE, and have lived in all districts and emirates, there is something to compare. Let's say the same 4ka on the marina is very inferior to this hotel. Yes, there is no gold, glass and pathos, but there is a flavor of an Arabic fairy tale.
There is a Russian-speaking staff, which was very pleasant.
The food is excellent, we took breakfasts and dinners, but we ate more for lunch, the buffet is super. Modestly, but everything is delicious. There is even a woven lamb and turkey. Sweets and fruits. Shrimps and steaks are fried. And very tasty bread. The service is above all praise, everything is cleaned in the rooms every day and all soap and soap accessories are replaced with new ones.
The rooms are clean, large, not new, but tastefully done and in a historical Arabic style.
They take us to the beach, we took a taxi ourselves.
But we are not beachgoers, the main thing for us is to have all stops nearby.

If it's for work, then yes, it's fine, but if it's for recreation, then it's unlikely. Deira is located quite far from all the attractions of Dubai. It will take 40 minutes to get to the mall and Burj Khalifa. The Marina and palm trees are 1-1.2 hours away. Deira is a market. A working-class area. The hotel is old. There is no pool. If you take a room with a view of the canal, keep in mind that the hotel is on the road and you are unlikely to get a good night's sleep. The hum of the cars is just terrible. The sound insulation of double-glazed windows is zero. They are cleaned superficially. Gels, shampoos, etc. are all fine. I think the floors were washed once in two weeks. As they say, you don't walk barefoot. The staff is excellent. Responsive. There are many Russian speakers. There are no language problems. The breakfasts are decent. Diverse. This is not the first time in Dubai, there is something to compare it with. Every day there is something new on the breakfast menu. They take you to the beach. You need to make an appointment at the reception. Mamzar beach is good. There is a free and a paid one. The paid one is very good. Toilets, showers, park area. So the choice is purely individual.
