Attention, future students! I want to share my real-life experience of studying at Synergy University Dubai. This university is absolutely not worth the money. The cost of tuition is huge (about $6,000 per semester, $12,000 per year), but the quality of education is extremely low. Teachers are often late, sometimes they don't come to classes at all, lectures and classes are regularly canceled without explanation. The education system is chaotic, there is no serious level of teaching here. The university is more interested only in students' money. They frankly don't care about the educational process and the level of knowledge. The atmosphere is more like a commercial organization that only sells a "picture" and beautiful promises. Separately, I want to warn you about the ratings. Here on Google Maps and Yandex.You can see a lot of "5★ reviews" on the maps — but this is a scam. Many of these assessments are made by the university staff and their teachers themselves in order to create the appearance of an "ideal reputation." Real students leave negative reviews because the reality is far from what is promised in the advertisement. Personally, I and many other students complain about the complete discrepancy between price and quality. The university does not provide any real knowledge, and the diploma you receive here has no serious weight. Bottom line: I strongly advise against applying to Synergy University Dubai. It's a waste of time and money. If you are looking for a quality education, choose other universities in Dubai or beyond.

I write as it is, without embellishment. 1. Staff: I'm sorry, but I can't help. I don't even want to touch them. Are they working poorly? Definitely. But is it their fault? I doubt. The organization at this university is complete chaos, it is simply impossible to work normally in such conditions. And most importantly, they simply don't get paid (or they get paid with wild delays). What kind of motivation or desire is there to do something? They are also hostages of the system. 2. Teachers: The only ray (if you're lucky). I can only speak here for my program and my teachers – and thank them very much! The subjects were interesting, the material was provided with high quality, it was felt that people knew and loved their work. They are the main (and, it seems, the only) thing that keeps the university's reputation afloat. But! I guess I just got lucky. I know for sure that there were terrible stories in other groups: teachers were half an hour or more late for classes, and they took their duties carelessly. And again, they don't get paid on time either. It's amazing that anyone is still enthusiastic. 3. Atmosphere: House of Cards. The first impression is wow! After, say, a modest building somewhere in Russia, the campus here will seem like a palace. But all this pomp is nonsense. As soon as the university has the slightest financial difficulties (and they arise all the time), the facade instantly collapses. The lack of basic things: cups at the cooler (yes, that's it!), stable Internet (which is why the ENTIRE university is already shutting down). Completely ignoring students' problems: letters to the void, appeals to the wall. Eternal access to the LMS (learning system) and the university portal? Forget it, this is the "holy of holies", which is constantly inaccessible. The most shameful moment: the arrival of delegations from other universities to the conference. Students and guests are shocked – you can't even drink water properly, because there are no cups! This is not just a small thing, it is an indicator of the complete collapse of the service and hypocrisy. 4. The main disappointment: Promises vs Reality. Forget about the plans. The most painful point. As soon as you land, all your rosy (or even just realistic) plans for living and studying in another country are shattered. Did they promise you something? Help with visa, housing, and adaptation? A refund in a clear time frame? Forget it. These were not promises, but your "wet dreams" (forgive me for being blunt). Writing to support is useless. For months. The standard answer is, "We will consult with our colleagues." And this "consultation" lasts for months. You're just in limbo. Understand the main thing: you need only one thing from you – YOUR MONEY. Have they been taken away? You can assume that you no longer exist. All assurances and agreements evaporate. Honestly? The feeling that they are working according to a scheme bordering on fraud. Bottom line: The university relies on the enthusiasm of individual (unpaid!) teachers and the ostentatious splendor of the campus, which crumbles at the first encounter with reality. The organization is zero. Student support is zero. Respect for students is zero. They take the money regularly, and then – silence and disregard. I really, really do not recommend it, unless you are lucky with a specific program and teachers, and you are ready for absolute independence and constant struggle for basic things. At the same time, we provided a certificate stating that the child is a student.The child has lost his student loan!!! It's too bad that it's impossible to find a responsible person at the university. Incompetent boys and girls are responsible everywhere. They are constantly sent to the "care department", but no one knows anything there either. The mess at the university reaches huge proportions. Looking at this, there are doubts whether the organizers can really teach someone something???! As of January 30, we have pre-trial proceedings against the child, which was initiated by Sberbank, since the information that the child is a student of Synergy has not been provided. No one has done anything in 2 months!

In Russia, these medicines are given to me for free, and I wondered if they would be given in Dubai (this was a very important point for me, on which my admission depended). The curator blatantly lied to me that they would be given out, and I shouldn't worry about it. As a result, when I arrived, I was constantly promised that everything would be fine upon receipt of insurance. When the insurance was ready, I was given a list of about 400 clinics. I spent a lot of time searching for a clinic that would give me medicines. The result of all this is that I am not eligible for medicines under insurance, and I have to buy them at my own expense (about 500 dirhams per month). Career Department. I have mixed feelings about this department. It's like the department is looking for a job for students. He monitors local job search sites and telegram channels for students and sometimes sends ads from companies that cooperate with the university. After a month of waiting, I decided to take the initiative and in 20 minutes I found two companies that need employees of my profile. I sent links to websites to the career department (in the hope that they have good experience in negotiations and will be able to arrange an interview). I've been waiting 2 weeks for a response from the career department. After visiting them personally, they told me to call them myself. I don't think I can describe how upset I felt. When my condition worsened completely (due to the lack of medications that I was promised), I decided to withdraw. I was handed over to the person who is doing this. After I collected all the documents and brought them, I was asked such an amazing question.: "You haven't taken a plane ticket yet, have you? Otherwise, we need to close your visa, and it still costs 775 dirhams." Oh, didn't they tell you? Of course, they didn't tell me, because you're the person who's supposed to tell me all this. It's very good that I bought a plane ticket a month later, and managed to close the visa. The problem is related to the same person. When I made an appointment with him to transfer the money for the visa, arriving at the university at the appointed time, the employee writes to me that he supposedly has a day off today. I just can't put into words how it should be all the same to a person and their job. This point made me write this comment. When communicating with this employee, I asked him questions about whether it was possible to transfer to another university or to another faculty so that the bank would not raise the loan rate. I was told no, and the bid would be raised anyway. Taking the employee's advice, I waited for the plane. When I arrived home, I called the bank, and they told me that the interest rate would not rise during the transfer. This was already an extreme drop, because we are not talking about 100 thousand rubles, but about 2 million, which I will owe because of this employee. I tried to call and find out if it would be possible to rewrite the documents and transfer them to Moscow. The employee didn't reply to me, but he read my messages. I contacted another supervisor, and he said that the guy would call me back in 10 minutes. At the time of writing the comment, I am still waiting for his call, and it has already been two days. I think that based on my comment, the attitude of the university staff towards the students is clear. If you get there, don't listen to anyone, rely only on yourself, no one will help you there. I want to emphasize that throughout the entire training, I was not rude to anyone, I communicated with the staff on "YOU". I still have all the conversations with the staff, and if the university does not correct the translation error, I will indicate the names of the staff in the next comment and send a letter to the Ministry of Education.

In February, I found an advertisement in Yandex Zen, decided to look to find out what and how, but I could only leave my mail and phone, well, I left it, within an hour they called, described it superficially and transferred it to a personal manager, discussed everything with him, then they transferred the girl who works there and accepts people to the "curator", she asked who I was / what I was and what I wanted from life, well, I described it as it is and everything was fine with everyone, they said that I was kind of very cool and they just need such students. It was already the end of the month and they were just recruiting and I managed to apply for the "promotion" so that I could have some benefits there. They issued it almost immediately, they said that they could take out an educational loan with state support (I also issued it). It seems that everything is fine so far?! I took shape for September 2024, I did not want to rush anywhere, while spring was coming I managed to rethink and get scared of nerves several times, the personal manager helped me with this normally, supported me for which I thank him as a person. That's all there is to it! Then my plans changed (if anything, my memory is good and therefore I describe it in such detail) and I had to move to another city several thousand KM from home and implement other Previously planned plans, which I just notified the manager on MAY 17!!! There +- brainwashing quickly began. At first, they reacted adequately, called several times, tried to convince me, said that it was possible to postpone admission, etc., to which I replied negatively. Also, one cunning and "dishonest" dispatcher began to say that I would have to pay a PENALTY in the amount of 2% or about 22k \ R since more than 15 days have passed since the signing of the contract, BUT nothing was written in the contract and the Bank was also told that nothing would have to be paid, except for the already accumulated interest (15k/r). I also continued to demand that the money be returned and the contract be terminated. Then they agreed and tried to brainwash a little more. Later, they threw off the form to fill out (details), but WHY? I still did not understand, because they actually had to return the money not to me, but to the BANK (since the bank directly gives money to the university), then it turned out that this was not the case and they threw it off again only to another person (it was already necessary to fill out this application for the rector). I finally did it all (though I was stupid and first threw off not my banking details, but THEM, since I filled out a receipt from the bank), and WAITED FOR JUNE! JULY! I wrote /called managers / dispatchers (by the way, during this period they just removed their Russian number from here right from here) and NOTHING, they just said that they were working on it there. And now it's AUGUST 6th! I quickly checked and oh YES this is IT, I printed it out as quickly as I could, filled it out and threw it back to them. Do you think that's it? Did they return the money immediately? I waited for almost two weeks, I had to call there again, they said that everything should have been ready and that I should call the Bank already. "Well, OK," I thought, it was Friday and I decided that I would not touch the bank employees on the weekend. On Monday morning, I checked in the application and YES, from 1.5+ million / r there were only 15k/r left and I returned them to the bank. This is almost the end of the story Yesterday, 08/23/2024, I got a call and was told that I was interested in Applying! Funny, isn't it? I've been demanding a refund all summer and they're talking about my admission here) and laughter and sin! I had grandiose plans for this summer, but since I had a load of +- 1.5 million rubles on me, I was on my nerves 24h/7d and couldn't do anything normally arriving in a semi-conscious state, "THANKS" to Synergy for a Great Summer!

So the staff wrote to me, according to the law, a refund for the service must be made within 10 days. The employees are not competent in their work, perhaps only I have come across such people and everyone else knows their job, but I doubt it. I do not want to go to court and to educational institutions in both Russia and Dubai, but the situation forces me, if there is nothing to change before December, I will not unsubscribe from the instance.

So, I wanted to go through this program so much, I thought it was a cool University and planned to go on to study by correspondence with them after college. Now my opinion about this university has deteriorated. I do not know how things are with paid programs, but specifically with the free program "Code of the Future" things, to put it mildly, are bad. The material is not of high quality, webinars are conducted by an inexperienced specialist, some failures are constantly in the video, the picture is terrible. I'm upset. So not only that, I came to learn how to program, and we have a stupid month of LAYOUT! And finally, I would like to note the disrespect of the curators, they communicate on YOU, they speak in an unpleasant tone. I hope that after all, this university will change for the better. I do not recommend even trying online training for FREE.
