In May 2025, China Southern Airlines flew on the Moscow-Sanya route with a transfer in Shenzhen. And back through Guangzhou. In China, this airline is in good standing, like our Aeroflot. Very friendly, helpful flight attendants, cleanliness on board, a blanket-pillow is a personal set in each seat. We were fed 2 times. The food is good and delicious! Drinks:tea-coffee-juices-wine. Good monitors with games, movies, not in Russian. They don't understand Russian, and they don't really understand English either, but sign language saved them!))) The flight went well, a soft landing, and there was no delay in departure. Hand luggage is 8 kg (the weight is not checked at the counter, the main thing is the parameters), luggage is 23 kg. Fruits were brought back in a box in hand luggage and in luggage. Everything is OK. I recommend the airline

The most terrible airline! They put me and my child in the very last row, where the seats don't bend at all, a quiet horror. It's almost 11 hours to fly. We'll never fly them again. We flew to Hainan Island with these airlines, there were 4 flights: Moscow-Guangzhou-Hainan and Hainan-Guangzhou-Moscow. Great impressions, the only negative is that domestic flights were rescheduled both there and back, and instead of 2.30, we waited 4.30 hours for a transfer. But thank you that the airline sent an SMS about the transfer and we knew about it in advance. There are places to eat, relax, and sleep capsules at the airport) There are many different shops and all this with reasonable prices, not exorbitant. The planes are in good condition, each has a bottle of water on a domestic flight, without food, a flight from and to Moscow with two hot meals a day, plus tomatoes, a piece of fruit, and a bun with butter. Drinks are offered before and after meals. White and red wine, beer in a jar, assorted juices, tea, coffee, water, and some kind of coconut milk the Chinese took for themselves. A pillow, a headrest, a bedspread on each seat. Meals and places can be selected in advance by logging in to the official website, it is very convenient, you can choose special meals and you will be the first to receive it without waiting in line)

We flew this airline for the first time to the Maldives via Guangzhou. Business class. All flights are clearly on schedule, the planes are new, the business has comfortable armchairs, the bed was half full, and in one of the segments 3 places in the business were occupied by air marshals - they ate and slept the whole flight) In terms of maintenance, everything depends very much on the crews, compared to our AF they do not reach. Travel kits are scarce, there is no cream and perfume. Pajamas were not given on the night flight from Moscow to Guangzhou, while they were distributed on the day flight from Guangzhou to Male) The food on the flights is European and Chinese, we took European, I will not say that it is very tasty and without frills. There is an interesting story about drinks in general. On the flight from Moscow there were also strong drinks Chivas, gin, etc.), wine and champagne (I did not like sourness), and their branded tea, which was stated on the airline's website. They were the only ones who didn't have it. On the flight from Guangzhou (and this, for a moment, is their main port), there were no strong drinks at all. The husband first asked for whiskey before dinner, they say "it's over", cognac - "too", well, bring gin - "it's over".. How is it, we say, that everything "ended" if we just flew out?) But there was their signature tea, which was eventually dispensed with)) By the way. the tea is really very tasty and unusual. On the flight from Male, there were very friendly and polite flight attendants, they constantly went and asked if we wanted anything, on other flights they did not try very hard and did not smile. We had a 5-hour docking in Guangzhou, spent in the business lounge, but this is a separate story and experience)) Summary - flying with them is calm and safe, the price for BC is very pleasant, but you need to take into account some specifics))

It's the best airline for me. I've flown back and forth to Japan and Seoul twice. Tickets are very affordable. On long flights, they are fed twice, they give fresh fruits, pineapple, dragon fruit. And between meals, they offer sandwiches. Polite flight attendants and wonderful staff at the airport check-in.

I flew with this airline from Moscow to Manila. Transfer to Guangzhou. The return ticket also included a transfer to Guangzhou, but the connection was only 1 hour. As a result, everything was done in minutes, I managed to do everything. The planes are great, new. The seats are comfortable.

This is the first time we fly with this airline, we started checking in later than we should have, after starting work, we put together a meeting for 20 minutes to decide how many counters will work, since there are few of us, only 280 people can stand and wait longer, after finding out, we went to the counter, the workplace was not ready, we had to wait until everything was fixed there! Then they invited us for 1 hour on boarding and what, and there again the same staff, whom even snails would overtake, we stood for 50 minutes, and they chatted sweetly with each other, and then they started nervously calling somewhere and finding out something, as a result, the flight was delayed for an hour, but no one even warned us, that's it they stood like morons at the exit of the plane. Complete incompetence, if you don't want to work in a human-related field, don't get involved. They recruited some kind of rabble. Manager or whatever it is, it's generally a separate kind of art!!!

One of the best airlines! There are no delays in departures, excellent meals that can be selected on the website before departure, Planes land 30-40 minutes ahead of schedule. Guangzhou Airport has a lounge for transit passengers with a mini buffet. The distances between the seats are greater than those of Aeroflot, modern Phillips monitors. In Guangzhou, I dropped my mobile phone when exiting the plane. I turned to the company's employees. They replied that the plane had already left for Yokohama, Japan. A few days later, they wrote that the phone was found, it is necessary to pay 600 rubles for the parcel. A week later, the package arrived in Beijing. I'm waiting for my friend to bring me to Russia when she's on vacation! That's it!

We just returned from China, flew with China Southern Airlines. Only pleasant impressions remained! So in order: 1. We flew to Sanya with a transfer in Beijing. Initially, our transfer was 2 hours, everything went great. All the planes are new, good, with a large display, there are a lot of movies, but few movies in Russian, I found about 7 pieces. There are games, music. 2. We flew like this: Moscow Beijing, Beijing Sanya. For such a flight, we needed a Chinese visa, even if you are not going to leave the airport, you still need it. 3. All our planes were large Airbus a 330. Moscow Beijing flew perfectly, there was never even turbulence. It took 3.30 minutes to fly from Beijing to Sanya, it was shaking normally. But everything went great. 4. Children are not given gifts. The service is excellent, very fast. The Chinese are doing great. The food was good on the flight from Moscow to Beijing, on the second flight it was already more Chinese. Wine, beer, drinks are all there. Except for strong drinks. 5. On the return flight we had a transfer for 18 hours! And after reading the reviews, I was also worried about the hotel, but I prepared in advance and just chose a couple of hotels on the booking. But everything went amazingly well, when we got off the plane, we were immediately greeted by a representative of the company with a piece of paper with our names on it. There were 13 Russians and we were all immediately taken to the hotel. They put me on a bus and took me to the hotel in 3 minutes. This is a hotel that is called China Southern. The entire 9th floor is allocated for people with a transfer. 6. Breakfast was also included for free at the hotel. They picked you up on the bus in the morning and you're back at Beijing Airport. The service is amazing and simple. 7. I note that all of us 13 people had completely different letter statuses on the ticket, but the hotel was provided to everyone!!! 8. On the return flight, they also fed 2 times. It was delicious. And spaghetti, and potatoes, and fish, and beef. The fruit is delicious. 9. Many thanks to this airline! We really enjoyed the flight. By the way, the pilots are also cool, the landings and takeoffs were just perfect. Although we were landing in a terrible fog.

It's a good airline. In the current conditions, it is probably one of the best places to travel from Russia to Southeast Asia. The transfer to Guangzhou is surprisingly not crowded at all. The planes flying in Russia are not the freshest, but they are quite comfortable.
