The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in the El Barsha area of Dubai was a great choice for a holiday. The spacious and cozy room, courteous staff and good breakfasts with a wide selection of dishes pleased me. The proximity to the Emirates Mall, as well as to the metro and bus station turned out to be convenient.
The disadvantages are the insufficient number of sun loungers by the pool and the small size of the pool itself, which somewhat limited the comfortable time spent at it.
In general, the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Dubai is a great option for staying, especially if you prefer an active and eventful vacation.

The best hotel in the Al Barsha area, in terms of price-quality ratio. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the Mall of the Emirates. The metro is within walking distance, but you need to go across the street from the hotel and the parking lot of the shopping center. It is convenient to get to both Dubai Marina and Burj Khalifa. The room stock is a bit old for Dubai (I did not find information about what year the hotel was), initially they settled on the 13th floor, there was not enough lighting and dust cleaning in the room, and we needed separate beds. When booking through the tour operator, the type of beds was not specified. At our request, not immediately (the hotel was loaded) but we were moved to a room with separate beds and to the 3rd floor, it was brighter because of the lighting and cleaner. Otherwise, there are no complaints about the hotel, cleaning every day, there is a staff ready to help. According to the nutrition, the breakfasts are wonderful, there is basically everything to choose from, delicious coffee from the coffee machine. They didn't take dinners and lunches, I didn't need them at the hotel, it's at everyone's discretion. On the way to the metro there is a small shop with a culinary cafe, Grandiose, you will not pass by. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the beach every day, Jumeirah Beach, to the right of the Parus Hotel, from 11-15 to 16-30. An ordinary public beach, without sun beds, take an umbrella beforehand so as not to burn out. We also visited the beaches of Kite beach and the beach of the Zero Gravity paid club, I highly recommend both. The Mall has all the shops for shopping, a food court, alcohol is sold in the mmi store in the parking lot of the shopping center. Bus 81, as probably many have already written, goes from the Mall of the emirates along the beach line. Because of this location, I would return to the hotel if I find myself in Dubai. The most important thing is that the area is safe and we felt at home in the hotel. Visited in early November 2023.

They were chosen because of the location - across the street is the Mall of the Emirates, a metro station and bus stops, when checking in, they traditionally give DoubleTree cookies. The hotel looks old, but clean, cleaning is daily, the standard room is large, if you check in 2 adults+children. a large sofa (sofa) in the room is very appropriate, iron, ironing board, head fluids (shampoo and conditioner), body (shower gel and body lotion) are available, safe, hair dryer, refrigerator, tea set, sockets are adapted to our plugs (you need to click the toggle switch on the outlet). The dining room is good, but it seemed to me that the chef is from India (you can feel it in the dishes). Of the minuses, there is a construction site around the clock right in front of the main entrance, well, there is construction everywhere in Dubai, so we did not pay attention. The bus to the beach is not very convenient at 11:15 from the hotel, 16:30 from the beach, we did not use it. From the stop across the street near Mall 81, the bus will take you at any time to any beach in the direction of Sail Kite Beach.

Among the advantages: The convenient location of the hotel, near supermarkets and a shopping center, cleaning every day, water, tea and coffee were replenished every day too. We booked with breakfast, ate too much. There is a transfer to the beach, you need to make an appointment for it one day in advance (check-out time from the hotel at 11.15, pick up from the beach at 16.30).
Of the cons: I had to wait in the lobby when I was invited to breakfast, because there were not enough places for everyone.
In general, the hotel is good, I recommend it.

We lived as a family (3 people), 3 days with breakfast. The cleaning is super, the buffet food is delicious, the food selection is good. The pool is excellent, I liked the sauna, the Hilton service is at a high level. Within walking distance is a huge Emirate Mall shopping center with a grocery supermarket, very convenient, as well as a metro station nearby. If during the customer's birthday, the hotel gives a decorated piece of cake with a candle and an inscription in chocolate, the daughter was happy!
We were very satisfied! I recommend.

The staff was courteous, they always met us halfway. Varied, delicious breakfasts. The room had everything you needed and was well cleaned. I rented a car, the hotel provided underground Parking for free. Good location of the hotel, near the Emirates Mall, a lot of small cafes and shops, including an analogue of the fix price. The hotel is normal, 4 stars, probably corresponds. The room is small, not very fresh. There is a kitchenette and a washer with dryer, it helped out when you needed to freshen and dry things after the beach. The breakfasts are normal, there are no toothbrushes, chopsticks, etc. There is gel and shampoo. There is no balcony, there is nowhere to dry things. The beach is only by taxi, there are no options on foot.
The hotel has a round, small pool, 5 meters in diameter, outdoors, I didn't want to go there.
And, here's another thing, there are rooms for smokers, but the windows do not fully open, there is no balcony, they smoke right in the room. The smell is persistently unpleasant, they definitely did not live in such a room.
There is a huge shopping center nearby, there is a very large supermarket. But even closer, just 2 minutes away, there is a wonderful place with a large supermarket, ready-made food, cafes, etc. - Grandiose.

An excellent hotel in the price-quality ratio. Of the absolute advantages: location. The hotel is located next to the Dubai Mall shopping center (5 minutes on foot), where you can have a delicious meal and take the metro, and then get to any point of the city. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. Cleaned and replenished the water every day. The furniture is quite old, it is clear that the hotel is far from new and renovation is required. The staff is friendly. The transfer to the beach was not used, in my opinion, an extremely bad time from 11.00 to 16.00. Taxi prices are adequate, the main thing is that the state taxi.

A wonderful hotel in its price segment. I would like to note: the goodwill of employees , willingness to help. Luxury breakfast buffet(there is everything!, even camembert). There is no need to wait for anything, everything is in maximum access. If something came to an end, they immediately cut it off, reported, brought it. The perfect location. As close as possible to the metro, mall, bus stop-5 minutes, to round-the-clock supermarkets no more than 7 minutes. At the same time, it's all around the hotel. There is no need to wander anywhere, look for anything. By bus to the beach 15 min -81 route (from the hotel shuttle once a day also carries). The red line of the metro, while the distance from the most iconic attractions is about the same. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day, changing towels , mini-bar. The only negative that we noted is the darkness in the room. But maybe we got one..(number 904). There is a construction site nearby, but we haven't heard it from the word at all. Neighbors were also not heard. The hotel left an extremely pleasant impression! Thanks to the staff and management. I want to come back here, definitely.

The hotel has no Russian-speaking staff, but they know how to use an online translator)) Very convenient location relative to all the attractions of Dubai.The rooms are cleaned every day, but the furniture is already quite old and it seems that it is dusty. There are bedbugs, ...they fight, but they don't always win. The windows are very dirty, but the curtains hide everything.
A very inconvenient transfer to the beach from 11 am to 13 ... in this heat, you can die... The beach is public, there is nothing on it..no changing rooms, no umbrellas, no sun beds.(Not for money either). One shower for the whole beach. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a gym room, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool..Not used.

A normal hotel. Good staff. I got a spacious room with a nice bed, there is an iron and ironing board in the room. The breakfasts are quite good, but the variety available for a couple of weeks gets boring. Near the Mall of the Emirates, where you can have dinner for any budget, but just buy food (and not only). There is a free shuttle service to the beach, but they take you in the heat, in the morning it's better to take a taxi yourself. I didn't use the gym or the swimming pool. The Internet is working quite normally. Yes, sometimes euro plugs can be inserted into local outlets, especially thin ones, but not always. If anything, there is a carefure in the mall, and there you can buy a cheap adapter for the network.

we were at the hotel in August 2023. A solid C for the hotel.
Positive:
- location, near Emirates Mall, a bunch of cafes in a 5-minute walk, a very attractive Grandiose grocery store in a minute walk with a game room for children
- temperature-controlled swimming pool (1 cooled 10 by 8 meters, one hot jacuzzi 2.5 by 2.5m and a children's paddling pool 3 by 3 m)
- a normal small gym and sauna
Cons:
- the rooms are shabby and very dusty
- breakfast gets boring after 7 days, although there seems to be a choice, even a poached egg with red fish and freshly squeezed orange juice.
- the filter didn't work in the basik, some napkins were floating in the water, they were repaired at the request of vacationers
- they are quietly repairing the hotel just while there are guests in it. the smell of paint was tin. More precisely, they do not repair, but lubricate and tint.
It can be seen that the hotel was made of good materials - good wood, marble, metal, but everything is sooo tired and not well maintained.
NB! First, they move into the most uprooted room, and then after a conversation with the reception, they move into a normal one, of course for free. This is their policy, don't be surprised!
The first time we were at the Hilton, we will not go to their network anymore.

We were at this hotel from March 6 to March 11.
From the pros: super breakfasts, very tasty and very satisfying! Start at 6:30 end at 11:00
The room is cleaned every day, there are all accessories: shampoo, gel, conditioner, iron, hair dryer, tea and coffee are replenished daily, as well as water.
There is a mall nearby, plus a 24-hour grocery store.
Near the metro. There is definitely a bass and fitness, but we were not. And there is a shuttle to the hotel like.
Of the minuses:
The hotel itself is urban, so getting somewhere on foot and walking is problematic.
This is probably the only negative and only for us, since we basically like to walk.
What we did: to the beach -1.30, to the Marina-2 hours, etc.
But in general, the hotel is exactly 5!

We were satisfied, next to EMIRATES MALL, the food was delicious, we had breakfasts and dinners. I gave it 4 stars because they went to a meeting and changed the room. Our original room had a musty smell. On the third day we were moved, thanks to the hotel manager. The last room was great: modern, fresh. We took a city hotel to go on excursions. The proximity to a large mall and metro also played a role in choosing a hotel. But that's what left a very unpleasant moment - waiting in line to get to breakfast. The hall is not designed at all for the number of people living there. There were queues for all 6 days... The food is dominated by Indian cuisine. But there has always been a minimum set of omelets, sausages, cheese and toast. I took eggs Benedict with salmon several times. You won't stay hungry.

The room has everything you need, but..... the cleaning is terrible, you need to constantly remind that the room is not cleaned, there was a strong smell of dust, which is not surprising, the corners and behind the bed were never cleaned. Excellent hotel - competent and responsive staff, clean and cozy rooms. Blackout curtains are fully closed without gaps, air conditioning is working quietly, good sound insulation - extraneous sounds are practically not audible. In the room you can really sleep even with a light sleep. Within walking distance of the metro, even closer is the Mall of the Emirates. There is a small outdoor pool, but in an enclosed courtyard, which, remarkably, is not in direct sunlight most of the day, so even in July it is comfortable there.

We stayed at the hotel from 26 .06.2023, we liked the hotel very much, the room with a king size bed is very spacious, everything is clean, a set of tea, coffee, kettle, asked to check in early, they did not refuse this is a big plus because after a long flight I want to relax. Zavraki excellent a large selection for every taste. Cleaning every day, change of linen and towels every day. The pool is small, but there are always free places. We used the gym, we also liked it, the equipment and sports equipment are all modern. The main advantage of the hotel is, of course, walking distance to the metro and the Emirates Mall.

A magnificent hotel!
We took a tour with breakfast and dinner. In my entire travel history, I have never been fed like this at a hotel. Breakfasts are a great buffet, dinners are either a buffet or dishes from the menu to choose from. These are not just dishes, but works of art! Wonderful waiters and the manager of Bibek. The staff is friendly and ready to solve any of your problems in a matter of minutes.
About the numbers
A standard room with a king size bed is simply beyond praise. It's big, it's always clean and the room itself is very beautiful.
About the transfer
The bus departs from the hotel at 10:00 to the beach and at 11:00 to the mall of the Emirates.
They come back to the beach for you at 15:00, but if you decide to leave earlier, you can go through um suqeim Park to the bus stop and take the 81 bus for 3 dirhams to the Mall.
Everything is very convenient
About the beach
A magnificent, clean beach. The feeling that you are in the Maldives with perfectly white sand overlooking Burj Al Arab.
