We had a vacation from September 2-9, 2025. We arrived via Yandex. We left with a flight delay of 4 hours. Food: monotonous, limited choice, no meat, chicken was 1 time, pasta with minced meat, omelet in the morning, sausages; stewed cauliflower at lunch, salads, some greens, watermelon, melon. Soups are terrible. The cheeses are excellent. Olives too; no porridge. There are boiled eggs. There is an afternoon snack with 1-2 kinds of cakes, some baklava without nuts. In short, you won't stay hungry. The menu is more for weight loss, if you remove pasta, fast food is also like nuggets. Dinner is like lunch, nothing special is cooked. Alcohol: the choice is limited, the quantity too. There are also delicious chemical yuppie drinks: cherry and pineapple taste. There is coffee, tea, and sugar. In general, everything is there - a 3* hotel, for this level and price (a week for 47 t.p.) it's probably very good, we haven't been to 3 before.* Service: No one speaks Russian, and they don't rush to solve any particular issues. They are friendly. One of the serious disadvantages is that cleaning comes to the room when you have just returned from the sea after lunch to relax: they knock on the room, wake up, apologize and leave. The room is not cleaned, the rest is interrupted. Asking them to clean up in the morning doesn't help. Friendly Turkey, represented by this hotel, has turned off all news channels from the Russian Federation and there are only news channels on TV: Freedom and N (Navalny's Channel), a lot of negativity about Russia. There are other channels, but there is little choice. Location: The hotel is located almost on the first coastline next to 5*-kami, the beach is the same, but it is better to take free sun beds on a public beach in advance, because the hotel does not have its own beach. There is only a small pool. The embankment is excellent, with a length of 15 km., with cafes, shops, discos and hangouts for every taste; A lot of people are running cross-country! You can get to the old town by minibus for $ 1 or take a walk. It's very beautiful in the evening. A lot of foreigners. Of the disadvantages of the location: Until 23-24 hours, music is blaring so loudly from two or three hotels that no one can fall asleep. Nice 3* hotel in Turkey (Marmaris), where it's really nice. The staff is in uniform, friendly, speaks English, tries to perform the service, always cleans and cleans when working. The location of the hotel is also excellent, the center is about 30 minutes on foot, and in Icmeler you can walk along the sea for about 40 minutes to the cleanest beaches. I liked the staff at the hotel the most, especially a boy named Mert who works in the canteen, very smiling and polite, hardworking. The showers are working properly, the water pressure is strong, everything worked, the rooms are clean, the air conditioner is working. Wi-fi in the rooms catches perfectly. Nutrition, the same menu for the second year... it's time to change the menu or the cook....Don't count on fish and meat, this is a three-star hotel.. Melon and watermelon are made from fruits, very tasty and ripe. Cakes for afternoon tea and baklava for dinner. Only once there weren't enough cakes and there weren't enough for all the vacationers - I ask the Head to take note. You could see how the staff was trying, washing and rubbing everything, and the hotel was clean. In case of a breakdown in the room of a faucet, shower, watering can, everything is promptly fixed. Literally 2-3 minutes. 2) The hotel itself is ordinary, requires renovation. A small pool and sun beds near it + a paddling pool, a small lobby (it is also part of the restaurant), several tables and a bar on the street. Everything looks pretty good and in some places requires not only repair, but replacement. For example, broken chairs that are scary to sit on. Or the tablecloths are stained. I can't say anything about the pool - I don't swim on principle. There are 2 hotels nearby with active animation, so the noise is at night until about 00.00 (and the audibility is excellent) and in the morning and afternoon it is also noisy there. 3) The room is standard, quite good. 2 beds, wardrobe, 2 armchairs, table, dressing table, mirror, chair, bedside table, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, safe. Everything looks pretty normal. But the wallpaper is coming off in places, it doesn't look good. Not all light bulbs work, and there is little lighting. The air conditioner is working strangely, but properly. The refrigerator freezes. The bathroom is clean, there are 2 soaps, 2 shampoos, toilet paper. The water pressure is not bad, but the water itself is quite specific - it is difficult to wash the hair. There are 2 chairs and a clothes dryer on the balcony. Wi-Fi catches all over the territory and in the room too - a big plus, but sometimes there are failures. 4) The bed linen, bedspreads and towels are clean, but ugly. They're all gray and have old spots. There are 2 towels per person, one for the legs. 5) Cleaning every day, but cleaning is one name: to remove garbage from the trash can, to change towels. The linen was changed once in 7 days. The floor was washed only when we were in the room and asked to do it. 6) Food. The biggest disadvantage. Very little choice. Breakfast is even more or less acceptable, as there are omelets, eggs, cereals, lots of pastries, cheese, jams. Dinner is also normal, plus or minus, because either fish, or chicken, or meat, but there are few side dishes - 2, and few salads. Fruits are also only for dinner - watermelon or melon. One dessert. Lunch is really bad. There are no fresh vegetables, no fruits, no sweets, and a small selection of everything else. A separate disadvantage (for me personally) was the presence of a huge amount of onions just everywhere. At 16.30 they give cakes or pies - we'll give a plus. Tea and coffee are fine. Therefore, you will not stay hungry, of course, but it will be difficult to feed the child properly (although there are hotels and worse in this regard, judging by the reviews of neighbors). Therefore, for food, either take what you have, or buy something in the store. 7) The bar is free from 11 to 22. Then it's paid only. Soda, juice, water. The beer is not bad, the wine is for an amateur, we haven't tried the rest. But strong alcohol is available. 8) 5 minutes from the hotel there is a large supermarket where you can buy anything: fruits, groceries, and household chemicals. The prices are adequate. It is better to ask for a discount card from the locals or buy it in a store, because it is much more profitable this way. You need to look at the price tag - there are 2 prices : with and without a card. 9) There is also an exchanger nearby. The course is normal. It is better to exchange rubles for lira. It is not profitable to pay in dollars or euros. Somewhere else they accept pounds, but for Russians, lira is the most important thing. 10) There is no private beach. It is 5 minutes from the hotel to the embankment, where you can choose any beach you like, but it is better to discuss the conditions in advance, because somewhere a deposit of 250 lire and above is only for a sunbed, somewhere it is enough to buy just one drink, for example, water for 50 lire - and the sunbed is yours for the whole day. The beaches are good, well maintained, and the entry into the water is normal. The further away from the center, the cleaner the water. 11) The infrastructure nearby is good: bus stop, pharmacy, shops, and restaurants. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the center at a leisurely pace. Everything else has nothing to do with the hotel: sights, excursions. You can easily Google it. Resume: I do not pay attention to the disadvantages of the hotel, as I am going to relax and enjoy the sea and the sun, as well as the beautiful Marmaris. I am writing this review solely so that people understand and do not expect super luxury conditions from 3 stars. This hotel is well suited for those who do not stay at home, but only come to spend the night.

The only drawback is the "noisy" hotels nearby, with evening and daytime entertainment programs! The Karen hotel deserves a good 4*, good rooms, well renovated, varied food, of course there are not enough hot dishes, there are usually 4 of them: rice, steamed vegetables, something from meat (fish, grilled chicken, cutlets, pieces of beef or pork), and soup. There are many salads, different cheeses, different olives, fruits: watermelon, melon, Turkish sweets. Afternoon tea is always delicious: cakes are different, tea and coffee are always available, drinks and alcohol are always available, we drank gin with sprite and lemon. The excursions were taken in the center of the city, right by the ships, and you can bargain there, and the excursions are more interesting than at Rasim's (prices are higher than at the marina). The hotel does not have its own beach, so we agreed to have a cafe on the beach for 2 teas, we gave 200 lira. no change, and we lay there all day. I really liked the service and the things and the seller in the store opposite the Blue Port center, the Majestic store, the seller speaks Russian very well, he will choose any jacket and leather jacket for your figure, and a coat, a fur coat, a sheepskin coat, a sheepskin coat, men's too. The number will say just normal, no more. everything was working, but in October I didn't turn on the air conditioner, there was no need. I lived above the reception desk and used the Internet. I even caught the Internet on the nearest beach, from the elegance hotel. The hotel is small, the dining room is small, everything is in plain sight. The food is sooo modest, absolutely nothing. And don't tell me what you wanted from the top three, I was in the top three. Of the drinks, people complained that there was no beer, cola, or whiskey. In general, there is something missing. Economy.. The staff doesn't speak Russian, but if I had any questions, I turned on the translator. For me, one of the disadvantages is nutrition...and the lack of its own beach. Rasim is a very pleasant and responsive young man, he has provided excellent advice in all areas. We took an evening excursion to Pamukkale and an evening vip tour of the Aegean Islands, these options were slightly more expensive than the morning ones, but they were worth it! It was much more comfortable to be on excursions without the heat and there were much fewer people in the evening. The organization was on top, we got a lot of emotions! The rest of the days there were nuggets and semi-finished products that were impossible to eat. Tea with baklava was served for afternoon tea. There were no other sweets. However, over the past two days, cakes have appeared, which were already taken out in plates, cut into pieces. But there were few of them. Of the fruits, only watermelon, which was always for dinner. Rice and pasta are also not always, just like delicacies. But there are always French fries. The last few days they also gave canned fish. The only thing I liked was their mashed soup, coffee and tea. We were lucky, because for the first three days we ate on excursions, they were very tasty, even one of them had a buffet. And later we went to Migros (like our Magnet or Pyaterochka) and bought groceries there. Again, I'm not comparing food to a five-star hotel, but at least a few dishes are possible, but delicious. During the week, many tourists arrived and the food improved noticeably. It is a pity that for us it was only the last two days of our stay. Now about the sea. The entire beach area has been purchased either by hotels or private owners. Only in the center there is a free city beach, but it takes about 50 minutes to walk to it. We got into the heat, so we stopped at the beach, which is across the street. It seems to belong to some kind of hotel. We paid 150 lire for two, cold drinks were brought to us and you can lie on the sun loungers as much as you want. Be sure to bring beach towels from home, as the hotel does not issue beach towels. We took excursions from Rasim. His tour agency is located across the street from Karen. You can write a separate review about him. He is the most wonderful, honest, sympathetic and kind person. He speaks excellent Russian. In a week, he became practically our family. He personally accompanies on excursions, carefully ensures that everything goes at the highest level. We were in the Aegean Islands, in Dalaman, in Pamukal. If I go to Marmaris again, I will go on these excursions again and only through Rasim.
