The temple looks much cooler from the outside than inside. There are powerful walls and columns outside (the wall on the right is in the photo), but there is something incomprehensible inside. There is a visual installation every 45 minutes, but we didn't wait. Admission is free, at least until the installation has started.

The columns left over from the Temple of the Divine Hadrian are perfectly integrated into the modern building - the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This building looks fantastic! As they would say in modern language, "adaptation of a cultural heritage building for modern use" :)) In the 17th century, the famous architect Domenico Fontana built the papal customs building into what remained of the temple. At the end of the 19th century, the Roman stock exchange was located there. And the current purpose of the Hadrian's Temple is the Chamber of Commerce. Apparently, this is not the last functionality of the ancient temple :))

The Temple of the Divine Hadrian is a temple in honor of Emperor Hadrian on the Champ de Mars in Rome, the ruins of which are now embedded in the building of the Roman Stock Exchange. A good place for walking
