Level 13 Local Expert

Is a massive letdown for a so-called luxury hotel. The facade screams opulence, but the experience is a mess. Rooms look dated, with worn carpets and chipped furniture—hardly 5-star quality. Staff are hit-or-miss: some are polite, others act like you’re a burden, especially at check-in, where I waited 20 minutes despite a booking. The pool is nice but overcrowded, and the gym equipment is outdated. Food at Dunes Cafe is overpriced and bland—$30 for a mediocre burger? Wi-Fi is spotty, which is unacceptable for the price. Location is convenient, but that’s the only plus. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually delivers on the luxury promise.

A wonderful city hotel! One view from the room is worth it ... I haven't seen such photos that we took on the Internet)) The metro is 5 minutes away, lots of pharmacies, shops, coffee shops. Taxi through the doorman is cheap and fast, and there are a lot of cars around the corner. The breakfasts are great! There are always avocados, salmon and croissants-after all, who needs what. Dinner with seafood and wine cost just pennies for Dubai! There are no complaints about cleaning, although there have always been nuances in other hotels. Despite the age of the hotel, the rooms do not look tired. The adapters were brought on request without any problems! The only thing I would get to is cosmetics. Indeed, something very cheap and incomprehensible ... for the first time in Dubai I came across such a thing. But everything was replenished without unnecessary requests! And the hair dryer is terrible too. But these are small things. Overall, I really liked the hotel!

A great hotel with excellent service! Good location, close to the metro. Great rooms with a nice view. Very tasty breakfasts. There are several restaurants with different cuisines. Master classes are held in restaurants. Excellent swimming pool with a beautiful view, a good SPA complex.

In general, a nice urban-type hotel with a convenient location, the possibility of holding business meetings and a view of the Burj Khalifa) I would not have emphasized and voiced the disadvantages of the hotel, of which there were quite a few, if not for the incident on the last day before departure. The story is not new, they decided not to give bail under a made-up pretext. Since the cards don't work, I paid in cash. When the taxi to the airport had already arrived, I was told at the reception desk that a limo transfer to the airport had been arranged for me for 100 bucks (5 minutes drive to the airport). I didn't ask, no one agreed with me, or even warned me about this service. They said you wrote to the post office before you arrived, asked them to arrange a transfer for you or help you call a taxi. The response to this letter was given in a general form, saying that we will try to help, but we do not promise. Discuss it with the staff upon arrival. After the scandal, they gave me the money, they expected that I would not figure it out, especially since I was late for the flight, etc. ... and surprisingly, at that moment, all the Russian-speaking staff "disappeared", although I asked to be called. Of the cons 1. It's hellish cold in the room, the heat conditioner doesn't work, I slept in a terry dressing gown under 2 blankets!! Cold floors, in the bathroom you immediately put on your slippers, otherwise you walk on ice 2. Absolutely not delicious breakfasts, although I'm not picky. 3. The windows are very dirty, I understand, the high floor, etc., but it overshadows a little when there is such a magnificent view of the Burj Khalifa outside the window. 4. Emirates usually have very high-quality, delicious-smelling niche cosmetics in the bathroom. I don't get it. As it is, the Russian-speaking girls are very friendly, they gave me a lot of recommendations on places (although this is not the first time), it's a pity they disappeared somewhere at the time of departure.…
