An excellent shop and cafe of Turkish sweets, bombic baklava, is definitely worth a try. They are packed securely, you can take them as a souvenir. Kunefe, tavuk geksu and desserts in the cafe are also great.

We were in 2 pastry shops of the Hafiz Mustafa chain, in the Sultanahmet Square area and in Galataport, everywhere there was excellent service and great taste of baklava.

There is also a wonderful cafe and huge portions of desserts. A gentle version of coffee on the Turk, served immediately with water, which is cool. The class of the institution is immediately clear. He deliberately ignored tourists, including me, when she wanted to make an order or ask for a bill, the same was with tourists (Chinese) at the next table, but he ran to the locals. No, he saw that he was being asked, but deliberately pretended not to notice.
At first, I confused the order-like what difference does it make with pistachio, and when I brought what I needed, I also brought additional "extra" additives, although I did not ask-and for a "long time" I could not understand that I was asking them to take them away.
Prices are high, baklava is delicious because it is fresh, but 2 small pieces are enough to eat. Of course, there are eyes running away, but keep this in mind. It will do for a gift

Ooo! This is just a wonderful place in Istanbul! I've known him for over 15 years. When I visit this city, I go in every evening, and sometimes 2 times. The best kunafe in the city. Wonderful tea and coffee. There are a lot of cakes, but I'm more into kunefe. It's not always possible to get in right away, sometimes you have to stand in line, especially at 6 p.m.

We accidentally stumbled upon this coffee shop-pastry shop: we had some free time on excursions.
We went in and were simply captivated by the color, oriental beauty and desserts displayed in the windows.
We ordered only Turkish coffee, but it turned out to be exactly what we expected!
Everything is fast, and there was no time to sit for a long time. But this is a wonderful place, and if I were in Istanbul again, I would come here again!

A very atmospheric place (this is the cafe near St. Sophia). A huge assortment of sweets of the highest quality. Both the sophisticated connoisseur and the non-sweet tooth have something to try and get better. I advise everyone (we've been there 4 times ourselves) .
