The worst Mado ever. They confuse dishes, they charge you tremendous prices (way higher than any other Mado), they charge you 10% service fee and do not even serve hot water to your tea pot. The food quality is below any expectations Will never be back. Hope they close soon 🤬🤬🤬

Despite the fact that Mado is a chain and, it would seem, corporate standards, menus and ingredients should be the same, there is a very strong difference between establishments in different locations. This particular point is the best in terms of the quality of the dishes. The service is worse here, there is no menu in English, you can only navigate by pictures. For comparison, there is an English menu on Istiklal Street, and the waiters are pleasant. At two other points (in the Mall of Istanbul and near the marina in the same Sultanahmet) the quality of the food is disgusting (as well as the quality of the service). We ordered the same items as in Mado in Sultanahmet district, but they turned out to be completely different in taste. Therefore, do not rely on the network – you need to choose specific points. The prices in the institution are average for the current Istanbul. Dinner for two went out at about 1000-1300 lire. I liked that in the restaurant you can choose both national cuisine and more familiar European dishes (they are also of very good quality). The best we found in a week in Istanbul on an average budget.

A great place for breakfast! 🍳 We took breakfast with a friend for two Sini Kahvalti (~700-800 Turkish lira). Delicious, varied: vegetables, several types of cheese, scrambled eggs, potatoes, various toppings for bread and tea) The wonderful staff - the waiter tried to make the atmosphere as comfortable as possible, prompted everything, helped to take off and put on outerwear, asked if we would like more tea :)

It seems to be a well-known chain of establishments in Istanbul, but when we got there we were a little surprised. Firstly, they put us at a table on the street and safely forgot about us. Until we desperately started waving at the waiters, trying to get attention. Secondly, you will not find prices in the menu (attention now). They just don't exist. In response to a reasonable question, the waiter will bring you an additional card, from which nothing is clear without detailed preparation anyway. So, upset, angry and hungry, we left this place.

I used to really like this cafe chain. But at the moment (May 11, 12) we were disappointed. The desserts are good (although they have gone up a lot), but the service is no longer very good. The toilets weren't working (there wasn't even a place to wash my hands ). We won't be visiting any more.

We purposefully went to the 4th floor for a beautiful view, as a result, the staff persuaded us to stay below, since there were no visitors upstairs and they were too lazy to serve us. Then the waiter, if you can call him that, turned on his series at full volume, laughed and ignored us. Those breakfasts (the cheapest in price) that we chose, he deliberately said no to them, we had to choose expensive ones, but their composition is exactly the same, only with a large volume - already a deception. They left dirty napkins during breakfast and decided to check if he would clean them- of course not! I had to poke him straight. He went to another floor to get the change and... I decided not to come back, I waited until we left, but I basically sat and waited. He came up, casually threw it on the table and silently left. Neither hello, nor goodbye. This is the attitude towards foreigners. Food for three. We gave away about 2k, eventually bought a street wet burger and were delighted. In Moscow, I have breakfast for 2 people for two with salmon, scrabble, grain bread, delicious pate and coffee in an expensive restaurant, dessert and a granule with Greek yogurt, and it's unclear who kind of promoted a chain of eateries. Breakfast in the photo (one plate) costs 1500 rubles!!!! They didn't even take tea there, which is 4 times overpriced

We were in November 2019. Very tasty baklava. I didn't get to sit on the balcony with tea, but I really wanted to. They were served quickly and intelligently. We did without English and Turkish. I didn't pay attention to the repair. That's not why I go on vacation. We were in April 2023. The service is fast. The prices are average, but the quality has become worse. Baklava is not tasty and dry at all. They took it elsewhere, but for a very expensive price.

We chose a cafe because it has several floors, and the last one has a good view. We went there for tea and desserts. Pokhlov is in the assortment, very tasty. Prices are the same everywhere in the center. 200-300 liras per person were left. The service is good. Clear. I recommend. Especially if you manage to get a table by the window in the evening on a higher floor)

Goodies/sweets are right for 5 points. Dandurma ice cream is beyond praise. Gozlime tortillas are also excellent (I recommend them with cheese). The view of the Karakei embankment is beautiful. But....first of all, the menu in connection with the pandemic is online only. Who is without the Internet-alas....only the waiter's clumsy explanations. Secondly, very slowly. If you are not late for the ferry, then keep in mind that you will not be in time in 30 minutes. The waiters all seemed to nod, they remembered, but they might bring the wrong thing. In terms of price/quality ratio on 01.2022, it's just super! For $ 20 ice cream/coffee/tea/flatbread, you'll just overeat....

We tried this place twice at two locations. The second time was special - I was poisoned by one of the dishes, I'm still recovering. After I realized why the toilets in this institution are in such a state, everyone seems to be poisoned without leaving the cash register, that even the toilets do not have time to put in order. The price tag is too high. By the way, you will be offered a menu without prices, which is unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend it.!
