Тот кто просил его похоронить тут, на Мамаевом кургане. Там где гибли его солдаты. Тот кто отдал жизнь за Родину. Прототип мемориала "Стоять насмерть"

Очень атмосферное место: могила командующего 62 армией, оборонявшей центральную часть Сталинграда, в том числе сражавшейся за высоту 102 (Мамаев курган), Чуйкова В.И., завещавшего похоронить себя после смерти у подножия Родины - матери.
