The terminal is new , but not too spacious. Dutifrey accommodates a large number of alcoholic and food products, but cosmetics and perfumes are minimal. Only Armani is represented from the clothes , but the running dimensions have been disassembled. There are stands with sun glasses.
There are several cafes, but they do not accommodate those who wish, I had to wait and catch a table to sit down to eat. There are few chairs for relaxation. The business lounge is tiny, it's literally a small room. There is a separate smoking room, which is a plus for those who smoke.
In general, it's not bad , but it's a little cramped.

I was very surprised by the lack of metal detectors and controls at the airport entrance. In general, everything is clean and tidy, but the general queue for registration temporarily turns the room into a Bombay bazaar and the feeling is quite panicky from all this. Although the staff is attentive and polite, there is always an evil cleaner who will spoil the mood.. in general, it is tolerable, but I expected more from Dubai, to be honest.

There is a queue in the business hall and it is literally packed, a special person walks around the hall, who monitors the vacant seats and so that the seats are not occupied with things. A good airport, a fairly convenient terminal. All procedures: passport control, baggage inspection, personal inspection were just instantaneous. Duty-free shops also left a good impression. There are a lot of people, like a bazaar. At the same time, it is completely ill-conceived, but such a necessary thing as sockets. Charging your phone is a problem right now! At the same time, we were ready, I had a plug adapter in my hand luggage, I bought it specially. You can't stick it in! What's in the wall near the toilets - none of them work! And there are only 2 of them!
Duty-free: it seems to be rather big, but there is absolutely nothing to choose. We had a lot of time. I went back there three times and tried to find something. Uselessly. There is nothing to buy. Standard alcohol, chocolate, perfumes. All. There is, however, an elite alcohol like Dom Perignon. But you know, you expect a little different in the terminal of a low-cost airline. Not because there is no money, but because you didn't count on this purchase..The widow of Clicquot is quite possible to do, the price, by the way, is cheaper than in Russia. 6 with pennies, she's standing there.
Americano costs 20-21 Dirhams, and it's tasteless, even at Starbucks. Just coffee water.
There are no sleeves, there is a bus boarding gate.
It is unclear on what principle the system seats during registration. With children, to the most uncomfortable places: with the non-opening backs of the chairs at the emergency exits.
In general, Sharjah Airport wins this race. Where there are outlets, even a small but interesting duty-free, with cool local perfumes, a good selection of sweets, which, according to the children, are not sold in Russia. With a good price tag for food and coffee.
R.S. what is well set up here is a smoking room. There is no smell at all.. We sat next to each other - neither when the doors were opened, nor from people coming out.

The airport is large, good, when they arrive on an airplane, they open two doors and adjust two ladders in front and behind, they take buses, everything is like at all other airports. What was most noted and remembered is that 40 people are sitting at border control and this is for those who do not have a local ID card, the queue is minimal, we passed it in just 7 minutes. And those who have an ID card, then customs is carried out automatically. When we were flying back, the customs just attached our passport to the turnstile and just passed through. I liked everything very much in this regard. The downside is that there is very little space in the flight waiting area where you can sit down and wait for your flight. About McDonald's and KFS, it's terrible, it seems to me that people are ready to fight for a place to sit down and eat, there is very little space. But since I'm not into hamburgers, it didn't affect my review.

There are not enough places in fast food restaurants, a recommendation for the owners of establishments, just put high tables for eating standing up, the situation with seating will change for the better. Despite the "anthill" it is quite clean, even in the toilets.
And most importantly, you can safely carry water and beer in your hand luggage through the green corridor - this is a cool feature for Russian tourists.

This option is not suitable for young children, for such a category of citizens they offer another passage, together with their parents through the usual passport control.
You can apply for tax free on departure. You present only your passport, the receipts are actually needed for you, because during the purchase in the UAE stores, the purchase data is entered into a single database and automatically appears in the tax free office.
Food. We used the Lounge room, using the Dragon system. There were a lot of people. They were waiting at the entrance to make room. The food is three-star, but we managed to rest before the flight. It's still better than in the common halls of the airport, which I think is always full.
