We arrived here in April. It was marvelous!! There are many magnificent flowers, but you mustn’t record policemen or their cars (idk why) these photos when I was in this park in March 2023, but I returned in one year (unfortunately haven’t got photos)

Take a fresh semit, some drink and get yourself a rest somewhere under the trees. Absolutely fantastic light. Might get crowded at times, but I find it wonderful on both sunny and rainy days

We visited Gulhane Park in Istanbul and were delighted! A great place for walking: manicured alleys, picturesque views, lots of greenery and flowers. We were pleased with the historical elements — ancient trees, architectural details, the atmosphere of tranquility in the middle of the city. Benches and recreation areas are conveniently located, clean and tidy. A great option for a leisurely vacation and beautiful photos. We definitely recommend you to visit!

A great park for walking in the Sultanahmet area. Beautiful benches for relaxing. Lawns with flowers everywhere. Relict trees have been growing for hundreds of years. You must have seen some of the sultans and their wives. There are green parrots in the recesses of the wall that fly all over the park. There are remains of ancient buildings. The park is adjacent to the Topkapi Palace.

A nice place where you can walk, sit on the benches, chat with the cats, of which there are many. In addition, of course, you can also see the historical side of this park, which was previously part of the Topkapi palace complex. There is also an opportunity to visit one of the many cisterns of Constantinople for free in the park.

A very beautiful and peaceful park in the center of Istanbul. Spacious alleys, manicured flower beds, shade from trees and a sense of silence are the perfect place to walk after a busy day in the city. From here you can enjoy views of the Bosphorus, and there are many benches where you can sit and relax. There are attractions nearby, so it's definitely worth a look.

It is a very beautiful and large park. Everything is clean, the trees are incredibly beautiful, the flowers are a separate love, everything is very well maintained. It is very atmospheric, there are playgrounds, gazebos, benches and even fountains. You can also sit near them, and the fountains are also illuminated.

A spacious and well-maintained, verdant and blooming park with fountains. Located next to Topkapi Palace. It's nice to just take a walk and sit. One of the free cisterns is located on the territory. It was closed at the time of the visit for an unknown reason.

The park is beautiful and clean... well maintained! There are enough toilets! The most important thing I remember is the parrots.. who were seen here in free flight. The child was delighted! But very little .. How to entertain children... a couple of locations... where you can stay for 15 minutes... and that's it.

It's a very beautiful park. Tulips are in full bloom here in spring. By the way, tulips came to Holland from the Ottoman Empire. It is located next to the Top of the Mouthpiece. You can walk and imagine yourself as a sultan/sultana, look at the Sea of Marmara and think about the fate of the country) It is recommended to visit)

A very cozy park with cats, seagulls and screaming parrots) It's so nice to get from the hustle and bustle of the old town to another world! There are many beautiful plane trees. I didn't get to see the roses - the trip fell in early November. The park itself is small. You can walk around in an hour at a leisurely pace. There is always a trolley with simits at the entrance.

Nice, well-maintained park in the center of Istanbul. A quiet place with benches. It is notable for the fact that the Gulhane Cistern (an underground reservoir), the Gothic Column (installed by the Romans and considered one of the most ancient sights) are located here, and if you walk through the park, you can admire the wonderful view of the Golden Horn Bay. The park used to be the territory of the Topkapi Palace, but it was disconnected 100 years ago, and now it He walks along the high wall of the palace grounds. Entrance to the park is free for now.

We liked this park more than all the other Istanbul parks and gardens. A huge park area, very well maintained and clean, lots of tourists and locals. There is a cafe at the entrance, but not in the park itself. The place is simply mesmerizing, so beautiful that you want to spend the whole day there.

Gulhane Park is a must-visit place for those who want not only to see the historical sights of Istanbul, but also to feel its atmosphere. It is an oasis of tranquility and beauty in the heart of a bustling metropolis. This is not just a park, but a huge garden with centuries-old plane trees, oaks, maples and, of course, thousands of roses that bloom in spring and summer and even in autumn. There is a calm, peaceful atmosphere here, contrasting with the noise of the neighboring tourist streets. In Ottoman times, it was a closed area where the sultans and their court rested. You can talk endlessly about this park, you won't regret seeing it with your own eyes.

A beautiful park in the heart of the city, near Topkapi Palace. There are fountains, lots of benches to rest on, and a playground on a slide in the center of the park. There is also a free cistern in the park to understand what it is and not pay 1,500 lire for a Basilica cistern.

The park is just great, on transfers between flights, the best time is spent! And what huge seagulls are there! It's like a petting zoo! The toilets are always open, everything is clean and tidy. Hot chestnuts and corn get a special taste. And the exit from the park directly onto the bay embankment is very convenient for a planned hiking tracker into the city.

This park captivates at first sight: centuries-old trees, cozy shady alleys, chirping birds and a lot of friendly cats that seem to have become its unofficial owners. I've been here at different times of the year, and each time the park is beautiful in its own way. In summer, Gulhane is a real escape from the heat of the city: the dense foliage of tall trees creates coolness, and fountains and gazebos add a sense of freshness. It's nice to take a walk, sit with a book, or just dream while listening to the rustle of leaves. And if you want to have a picnic, there are all the conditions for that too! The park is not only picturesque, but also full of history: ancient cisterns, ancient monuments and the atmosphere of past centuries make it special. And if you go to the exit by the embankment, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe overlooking the Bosphorus – the perfect end to the walk. Gulhane is one of those places that are definitely worth visiting in Istanbul. It combines nature, history and tranquility, and each visit brings new pleasant impressions.

I was impressed by the flocks of green parrots, I read that they were once transported, but they "escaped" and took root. I don 't know how much it is true , but they are pleasing to the eye ! If you go through and cross the road, the traffic light is a very beautiful cafe on the beach with good prices.

A beautiful, tidy park. I advise you to go to the free cistern (on the left side of the park), walk to the Gothic column and exit to the arrow of the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara and the Golden Horn. After that, walk along the walls of the palace to the mosques.

A beautiful park, most of all impressions of parrots, it was unexpected and amazing to meet them in the wild. Tall trees, fresh air. The chirping of birds in the morning is just a relaxation for the ears. We were on April 26th - the tulips in this park had already faded, there were only a couple of flower beds. There is a beautiful view of the strait at the end of the park. In the park itself there is a social cafe with reasonable prices and European cuisine, and dessert San Sebastian.

Nice quiet park in the city center with tall trees. In the heat, it will be a salvation. You can also see the Gulhane Cistern in the middle of the park for free, rather than standing in a long queue at the Basilica Cistern. It is much smaller, but by visiting, you can get a general impression of the underground reservoirs.

This is a magical place where history, nature and peace merge together! One of the most picturesque parks in the city, which enchants at first sight. Lush greenery, century-old trees, blooming flower beds and cozy alleys create the feeling of a real oasis in the midst of a bustling metropolis. It is especially beautiful in spring, when the park is surrounded by tulips – an unforgettable sight! The park is located next to Topkapi Palace and preserves the spirit of the Ottoman Empire. Here you can see ancient pavilions, fountains and even antique columns – the walk turns into a journey through time. Some points of the park offer stunning views of the strait and the Asian coast of Istanbul – an ideal place for photography and contemplation. Cozy cafes with Turkish tea and coffee, clean paths, benches for relaxation. It is located in the very center of Istanbul (Sultanahmet district), admission is free. P.S. I advise you to come at dawn or closer to sunset – the magic of the place is fully revealed!

A great park near Topkapi Palace and all other attractions, admission is free, they sell water and magnets at the entrance, it's clean, cool, there's a place to sit and relax. There are two big dogs, completely harmless. A great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of tourism. There are exits to the Sarayburnu Park and marina and to the Archaeological Museum, through which you can go to Topkapi. There is a tram stop right next to it. Yes, big parrots fly, it's cool)

Nice, big, beautiful park for walking. Lots of greenery, flowers, sculptures. There are enough benches, there is a place to sit and rest. There's only one toilet. There are practically no catering outlets. Once there was a magnificent tea terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, but unfortunately it was closed. A modest playground that you won't find right away. A pleasant park for walking. It's probably the perfect place to relax in the heat. There is an underground cistern that can be visited for free. Different flowers are constantly planted along the paths, depending on the season. I advise you to walk through the park to the embankment, and then at a calm pace take another walk along the embankment to the right, further from the center, there are fewer people here, calmly, you can look at the local fishermen who catch horse mackerel. There will be a social restaurant after the lighthouse, it doesn't have as many visitors as the other social restaurants. You can have a delicious meal or drink tea and coffee in the courtyard.

We were at the end of February, the daffodils had just begun to bloom, but when the tulips bloom, it will be great. The museum is on one side of the park, and the walls of the Topkapi Palace are on the other. It is very pleasant to walk to the Bosphorus and admire the green parrots that fly here. The park is well maintained, I recommend you to visit, the entrance is next to the tram stop of the T1 Gulhane line. They sell simits in the park.

A quiet, beautiful, peaceful place. It is very pleasant to sit in the cool on a hot day. The garden is well maintained, everything is clean, benches, there are not many people in September. There is an inexpensive cafe, coffee and desserts are very tasty. There are interesting fountains in the garden, one in the form of a Koran, where the pages are watered with water. The second one is in the form of falling drops that form different patterns, I saw this for the first time, it's interesting to sit and watch, there are benches made just to sit and meditate. I highly recommend visiting at least once. It's right next to Topkapi, just after you walk around and get tired, it's very nice to sit and relax in this garden.

Beautiful large park in the old part of the city, in the tourist center. There is a free cistern (small), a museum, a mosque, a historical monument, a fountain, and a bridge in the park. It's a great place to walk in the evening if you live nearby in the Fatih area. At the end of the park at the exit to the embankment, there is a cafe-restaurant across the street, open early in the morning, local queues for lunch and dinner in the evening. The prices are average. Beautiful views of the other part of the city. Recommend.

I really liked the park, you can have a great time, especially in the summer heat. There is one secret in the park that is not on the Yandex map, it is the free Gulhane cistern, unlike the Basilica cistern, Gulhane is free. The park itself is very well located, there are a lot of attractions within walking distance. I recommend you to visit.
