I'm leaving a review about today's trip to the cinema.
Today, on March 8th, my husband and I decided to go to the cinema for the evening movie "A Real Pain" at 22:10!
What a convenient session, we thought! The movie runs for 90 minutes! We'll have time to get home before 00 and take the dog for a walk, and anyway! We bought tickets in advance and waited for the evening.
I didn't realize that my real pain would start BEFORE the MOVIE was shown.
Let me remind you, the session was announced at 22:10, at 22:14 a crowd of spectators was crowding in the lobby, having clarified with the controller why they were not launching yet, they said that the previous film was still running, come to the hall at 22:20
Okay, the delay is 10 minutes, you'll think, it doesn't happen to anyone, it's a technical problem!
But at 22:30 they hadn't let us into the hall yet, the previous movie was still on there, and they kept saying we're going to launch now.
I had to walk to the box office to ask what was going on and find out that the MOVIE WAS ABOUT TO START WHEN THE PREVIOUS ONE WOULD END, and no one could say exactly what time it would happen, because it turned out that the lights were turned off in the shopping center for a while and the sessions started with a delay of 40 minutes! That's more than a third of the length of the movie we came to!
Was this reported in advance? Did you receive the notification by email? Has anyone apologized for the delay? Did you offer compensation, a discount on the next session, or popcorn to lighten up the wait? Alas! They were rude to me in response and ruined my mood.
Someone responsible decided to start the shows later, but no one decided to contact the audience and warn them!
To warn in the lobby how long there will be waiting or to write a stupid information note!
NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES THREW UP THEIR HANDS AND SHIFTED RESPONSIBILITY!
They started telling me that we have other viewers who have also started watching delayed movies, saying that you are not the only one!
Is this really the first time you've encountered a blackout and you don't have any working scenarios for how to warn guests with tickets purchased in advance????????
By the way, the show started at 22:48!
I rarely leave reviews, but there is a limit to everything!

The most important thing is that you can watch movies in Russian. If the film is foreign, then 95% that it will be in Russian. A good movie theater. High-quality picture and sound. 5 or 6 halls. It's clean and beautiful. The staff speaks Russian and Armenian.
