A wonderful boarding house for a relaxing and measured rest! Those who are spoiled by hotels with rooms with modern design are not here. The rooms here are modestly renovated, as if they had returned to the Soviet Union)).We stayed in a superior room, cosmetic repairs were made, but for some reason we lost sight of the baseboards, left as it is, as a result, the overall impression of the room, which requires repair. In general, as in the photos on the website. Rooms with a balcony, mountain and sea views, the view is wonderful! Beds with comfortable mattresses, new linens. There is an ironing board with an iron on the floor, and kettles at each end of the corridor. There are tea mugs in the room, and one plate is shared. There were no tea spoons. The girls don't have a hair dryer in the room either. I brought my own road format. But they say that you can take it at the reception. The food is like in a health camp. Simple and satisfying! In the morning, porridge and a second course:omelets, pancakes, cheesecakes. Plus cookies, gingerbread, tea, instant coffee. At lunch, salad, soup, second course, compote, some fruit, we mostly had melon, sometimes wine was given. For dinner, salad, hot dishes and pastries. In general, we always left well-fed, delicious, cooked with a soul! And the girls working there, Rimma and Lana, well done, thank them so much! Responsive, kind, I didn't have time to go into the dining room, and the table was already set)) The elevators in the hotel and on the beach were working properly. Thanks to the elevator, it is very convenient to go to the sea, and not far away! If you walk a little to the right along the embankment, there will be an excellent comfortable beach. Two sun beds + an umbrella cost 600 rubles. There is a small grocery store on site where you can buy everything you need. There is also a cafe where you can have a delicious meal and relax! In the morning, delicious cakes are sold at the entrance to the dining room. You can also buy a guided tour here. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby on the 1st floor and outside the hotel. The signal is weak, if there are many people who want to surf the Internet at the same time, then everything is hanging. That's the only downside here. In general, it left a wonderful impression of the rest. Do you want to come here again? Definitely, yes!

We liked Colchis. It is located in Staraya Gagra. For those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. Nature is gorgeous. The balconies offer magnificent views of nature: palm trees, the sea. The food is good, homemade. You can go down to the sea by elevator, you can take the steps. The only negative is the old furniture. I got 1 star for that. But, this is also for an amateur, if you like rarities, then you will like it. The rooms are cleaned daily. Towels and toilet paper are provided. There is a shop on site. It's small, but everything is always there. The prices are adequate. In the evening, cafes and children's attractions are located near the beach. Thanks to Colchis for our rest.

They have a wonderful and very friendly attitude to work and to the guests. These girls are real professionals. They know how to listen attentively and advise competently. They helped us solve many different issues that arose during our stay. Dear Ksenia and Denise, thank you for your courtesy, sensitivity and responsiveness. We really hope to meet you again the next time we visit this hotel. If you are used to hotels with modern room designs, then you should know that this hotel is not like that. The rooms here are very modestly renovated. It's like going back to Soviet times. We lived in a superior room. It has been redecorated. Everything looks exactly the same as in the photos on the website. The rooms have balconies. They offer wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. Beds with comfortable mattresses, new bed linen. The towels are white, and each guest is given their own set. The maids Ruzanna, Luba and Dilya are the invisible guardians of cleanliness. They monitor both the floor and the rooms. They do a wet cleaning twice a day. It's amazing how they manage everything! They're just smart. There is an ironing board with an iron on the floor. There are kettles at each end of the corridor. There are tea mugs and one shared plate in the room. The room also has a TV on the dressing table, a refrigerator and air conditioning. It is important for girls to know that there is no hair dryer in the room. You need to take it with you or you can take it at the reception. The hotel attendants — Irina Shakurovna (she can be called a fairy mother), Galina and Irina - always help to solve any problem. They do it calmly, clearly and always with a smile. They are like the Chip and Dale team — they will always come to the rescue. The food here is simple and satisfying, like in a good health camp. Porridge and a second course are served for breakfast. It can be an omelet, pancakes or cheesecakes. There are also cookies, gingerbread, tea and instant coffee. For lunch, salad, soup, second course and compote are served. They also give us some fruits, we mainly had melon and watermelon. White homemade wine is served during lunch, and red wine is served during dinner. For dinner there is a salad, hot dishes and pastries. We always left the cafeteria well-fed. Everything was very tasty and cooked with soul. Many thanks to chef Zhora! Not a single dish combination has been repeated in ten days. And many thanks to the girls who work in the cafeteria — Sveta, Rimma and Lana. You guys are doing great! They are very responsive, kind and with a sense of humor. You just walk into the dining room, and everything is already set on the table. The elevators in the hotel and the elevator to the beach were working properly. Thanks to the elevator, it is very convenient to go to the sea, and it is very close. If you walk a little to the right along the embankment, there will be a great cozy and well-equipped beach. Two sun beds and an umbrella cost 600 rubles there. There is a small grocery store on site. You can buy everything you need there. There is also a cafe where you can have a delicious meal and relax. In the morning, delicious cakes are sold at the entrance to the dining room. Nearby you can buy a guided tour. An important point is that it is forbidden to park cars on the territories. There is a parking lot for 10-15 cars with video surveillance, which is located at the playground level. Free Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby on the ground floor and outside the hotel. The signal is quite weak. If many people are trying to access the Internet at the same time, the Internet starts to freeze. This is probably the only disadvantage of this place. In general, we had a wonderful vacation experience. Do we want to come here again? Definitely, yes!

We rested for 8 days in Colchis. The food is delicious. The room is clean. The service and staff are excellent. The beach is nice. The view from the window is excellent. The whole family is happy with their stay at this hotel. There is something to compare it with. Last year, the Amra park hotel&spa had a 5-star vacation and it was a bad experience (the food was not delicious, not only my family was poisoned, but also three other families from our building). We had our first vacation in Colchis in July 25 and were very satisfied. But I will make a reservation that the rest there is for unassuming tourists. we took a room in the 2nd building - this beautiful old building of capital construction is located 3 minutes walk from the main building, isolated in the forest. It is very quiet and peaceful, there is no stuffiness and mosquitoes. Wonderful friendly staff, who, by the way, checked us in before 12 o'clock and we left only at 16.00. 2 rooms and a bathroom are spacious with high ceilings, with beautiful views, but repairs are required. Something is being done gradually, but in a simple way and a lot more is needed. The food, as I read in other reviews, is like in a school cafeteria.: There's no choice, but it's delicious and you won't stay hungry. Wine for lunch or dinner almost every day. There were watermelon or melon, pastries. This area of staraya Gagra is sparsely populated, as there are no large hotels nearby. And on the beach, too. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, and it's great to have an elevator. There were no problems with light and water, and no one was sick with rotavirus!! Vacationers are mostly adults, very few young people and with children. One of the wishes is 1. to continue the repair. 2. Wi-Fi in the rooms and 3. Meals should be moved an hour earlier.In general, I liked everything in terms of price-quality ratio.

Nice hotel (former boarding house built in 1970). For undemanding tourists. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served as they should be in a sanatorium - whatever they bring, you will eat (not a buffet). The nature around is wonderful, the beach and the park are within a two-minute walk. From the courtyard of the boarding house, you go to the chic bridge that leads to the elevator, go down, go through the underpass and you're in the park, another 50 meters and you're on the beach.

Don't expect anything supernatural from the boarding house!!! Food for two, economy rooms for three, it was lucky that the room had air conditioning and a refrigerator, they are not everywhere in economy. In general, it is a very tired boarding house, which is losing guests due to newly opening modern hotels. By the way, a trip from Tyumen for 15 nights cost 235 thousand, and friends in a new hotel, which opened only in May, had 150 thousand in the neighborhood from the same city. If the boarding house does not start to change something in service, landscaping, and food, there will be even fewer guests, but the views and location there are gorgeous, incredible, inspiring and peaceful. Owners, urgently make repairs in the boarding house, change the chefs and the food regime to a buffet.

Happy time of day, I wanted to share my impressions of the vacation spent in Colchis. We rested with our family twice in the first building in a fully equipped room and in the old second building it is also called Geniralsky since it was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Both buildings are very old and in need of repair. I will write more about the second building since there is almost no information about it. And so it is located about 50 meters from the main building, passing along a narrow road past a garbage dump, this is a 4-storey building, only three floors are rented in it, the first one is not for rent, there are two and three rooms with balconies in the building. We lived on the second floor in room 9. The room area is approximately 40 sq. m., a large entrance hall, a bathroom and two rooms from both you can access the balcony. In the hall there is a sofa, a table, a refrigerator, a sideboard and a small TV, in the bedroom there are two beds, a wardrobe and a dressing table. All the furniture is probably from the time of Stalin. There is air conditioning and a kettle. The building is very beautiful in the circle, century-old cypresses and palm trees grow, there is a courtyard and access to the sea. Very quiet. The sea is visible from the room. I also want to write that cleaning is not done here from the word at all, upon check-in, I washed the room because it smelled unpleasant, I had to work hard not to spoil my vacation. We rested for 10 nights , and a week later and already demanded that at least the towels be changed. Whether you go here or not is up to you, in general we like it there, very convenient location, quiet. There are few people on the beach, and in the evening it is very pleasant to walk along the embankment.

I wanted to visit Colchis from my first visit to Abkhazia. And now, 10 years later, I decided. We had a rest in September 2023: me, my daughter 16l and my son 6l. We ordered a ticket through the Azure Coast of Sochi, because then their contacts were indicated on the website. The place is certainly gorgeous, with its location. The park, the sea, such different aromas - it's impossible to breathe enough. Delicious food, thanks to Zhorik and his team. Female waitresses are like butterflies, fluttering tirelessly, always with a smile and a warm word. We were checked into room 317. Its advantages: 1.Spacious. 2. the view from the balcony is indescribable, especially at sunset (only he smoothed out all the disadvantages). 3. No need to take the elevator. 4. Although the bed linen is old, it is not synthetic. 5. They gave towels for all (2 pcs each). minuses. To be honest, I was shocked when I came in with the kids and a suitcase!! 1. very shabby appearance: wallpaper with streaks on all the walls, some stains and daubs on them. 2. The windows are old, a million worth of paint, a flimsy balcony door, and cobwebs under the windowsill, behind the curtain. 3. Beds, they are 100 years old (my great-grandfather died on such a bed), then they wobble, then some kind of board fell off the headboard. 4. Cabinets - they stink a lot, either with naphthalene or something else. Things were not hung in them (on the door). 5. Sconces - they contain cobwebs, dust and dead insects. 6. The bathroom is something. The stench of sewage, black mold wherever possible: the curtain, the seams, in the corners of the bathtub itself. My daughter is allergic to black mold spores, eczema begins (palms crack into meat), and in general it is very dangerous in itself. The screen under the bathroom is broken, the watering can is broken - it moves in different directions while washing my son, she is all wet. To be honest, at first glance, I wanted to cry: Where did I get to? at the same time, I am not spoiled or pretentious. And the room is considered SUPERIOR. I saw a 2-seater standard from a friend, it is much cleaner and newer than our improved one. And in general, the state of Colchis and its territories is very depressing. How many unrealized opportunities!! We went for a walk to the 2nd building, along the way the trash is overflowing, stink, flies, rats. Do the residents of the 2nd building go to the dining room through this? Bottom line: most of what you like has nothing to do with Colchis itself, it's natural. There is a strong feeling that managers do not want to invest, but pull the latter. Now the site is working, there is hope for changes for the better. Whether we will come again is a MUST. With a more scrupulous number selection. After all, we are not going to sit in the room, but to enjoy the clear sea, the aromas of the park, the sunset, the crackling of cicadas, walking through abandoned places, communicating with sincere people.

This year we had a rest at the Kolkhida boarding house. Overall, the impressions are positive: the staff is responsive and friendly, and the food is delicious and varied (especially the breakfasts and dinners). However, the cheesecakes could have been better – they seemed too dense due to the abundance of flour and butter, and they were given very little condensed milk. I would also like to mention a few points that could improve the comfort of the guests.: - A hairdryer in each room is a basic necessity. - Ironing board and iron on the floor (at least one set). - Interior renovation – wallpaper, parquet and furniture (especially beds) require repair or replacement. - Cleaning of balconies and replacement of old chairs in rooms. The boarding house has excellent potential – with small but important changes, it will become even better! We hope to see these improvements next time. 😊

Playground, sports ground, with a small set of equipment, places to relax in the shade with modern Wi-Fi. And even a lift (elevator), so as not to go to the sea and back on foot. There is a large dining room, the food is not very diverse, but delicious, they will even add it if you are not full. The rooms are cozy, but not modern. And most importantly - the sea! The musty smell from the wallpaper, which is 30 years old and which you want to tear off, buy a can of paint and paint the whole room, it's inexpensive, as inexpensive as washing blankets, which are unpleasant to pick up, not to hide behind them. At the same time, the bed linen is clean and ironed. It is not expensive to put a clean ironing board and a hair dryer on each floor, so as not to go down to the first floor with a wet head, and then carry it back. You can't dislike your guests so much and it's not the fault of the staff working there, they work. This is the fault of the owners of the boarding house. The whole impression of the holiday is spoiled by the fact that the room is on the "fuck off". We need to do something already, and not "ride" on junk. Expensive repairs are not required, but basic things must be done.

We had a renovated comfort room, clean, cold and hot water, good linen and towels. A large balcony with a great view, a table and chairs. The air conditioner was working properly. And common shortcomings, specifically the blackout, the general unsettled beaches, widespread repairs and plus devastation-it's everywhere. Therefore, the choice is like in that advertisement.".. if there is no difference, why pay more" And, by the way, closer to our departure, the workload was getting more and more, and this is the middle of June. So people come here with children to relax, and the places are sorted very well. There is also a tour desk, a very attentive woman in charge of everything, will tell you everything, solve questions. I found a place for an excursion literally 20 minutes before departure. And in the morning, a woman sells amazing cakes near the dining room! We took it, the yummy was incredible and no one was poisoned. So I definitely recommend it, especially for those who want to save money, relax and take a walk around the historical sights of Old Gagra, which are literally within walking distance from Colchis.

We had a rest in June 2023.The room was a superior double room, it still smelled of paint, the view from the balcony was excellent.everything is simple and clean.2nd floor, which then pleased me, because due to the frequent blackout, it was painful to look at the elderly people climbing the stairs to their floors. With the lights out, it's a real problem, we didn't go for a walk a couple of times, because the elevator from the mountain, accordingly, does not work, and you will break your legs in the dark along the thresholds. This information is for the older generation, of whom the majority rest there. The food is budget-friendly, according to the price category of the hotel: salads or cabbage or cucumbers with pomodars, or their variations.the second courses are potatoes with a cutlet, fish, everything is simple. But everything is freshly cooked. It seems to me that it will not be enough for men, but we had enough. The staff is friendly and friendly. The hotel has a massage therapist, a woman, golden hands, because of her alone you can go there again, I highly recommend it. It's a long way to the infrastructure, you will have to walk to the shops at least 1 km. There is a shop on the territory with the most necessary things, we bought ice cream there, toilet paper (well, we are used to good things)). The beach is equipped, there are sun beds, umbrellas, and a cafe for money. It is sparsely populated, which is a plus, but rocky, relative to the central part of Gagra, which is a minus.Nearby is the Gagripsh restaurant, a wonderful historical place, views from it!delicious cuisine, took the soul away after the canteen. Overall, I liked it. We met people who have been going there for years, I like it.

The check-in did not happen. Through the tour operator, they took a 2-bed superior room. We were provided with a 3-bed room with a view of the courtyard. A dark and not cozy room with creaking floors and old furniture. They refused to change to the ordered room. Was it explained by the lack of numbers?! I typed on the tour operator's website- a miracle, there are many available rooms of various types on sale on my check-in date. The tour operator had photos of the booked room - sea view!!!! High floor!!! The administrator advised to book a vacation directly through them and then there will be no problems. It's not pleasant. We found another hotel. More modern and polite hosts. On Colchis, we will put an end to what follows.

The dining room is clean, the food is very decent for a complex, quite diverse. The cafe on the territory is not bad, the barbecue and khachapur are excellent! The beach is landscaped with us, sun beds, umbrellas, a locker room. I would like Wi-Fi in the rooms, otherwise only in the lobby, it is not very convenient. Of course, the owners have something to work on, but considering the cost of the vouchers, everything is decent..

The wallpaper is torn off, the room is dirty, bugs (stinkers) on the curtains..They asked why they were not cleaned-there is no vacuum cleaner!!! But the resort fee is 200 rubles. From a person-For what? The toilet is black inside-there is water on the floor, the toilet is flowing.They started fixing the toilet when we were there! Accessories include soap and tual..paper The baseboards in the bathroom are torn off.There are baths, not showers as in the description! There are handles on the doors from the 50s-latches on the doors!!! They asked to replace the room-in response, No!!! There was a desire to wrap up and leave!!! It is impossible to contact the tour operator Alean.It was not thought out!!! After negotiations, we changed the room on the 6th floor, cleaner, but not more comfortable.there is no basic cosmetic repair, WiFi is only in the Lobby on the 1st floor, weak, it is impossible to call it!.The kettles on the floor are dirty, uncleaned.The service is at Zero, for such money-3,300 thousand rubles per day!!! What attracts vacationers here is 3 meals a day, so as not to stay hungry and not catch rotovirus-the service in the dining room is pleasant.Complete unsanitary conditions in the rooms! At the exit to the sea from the passage there are grilles with protruding fittings, which is dangerous when walking!!! Sun beds are paid. Last year we rested in New Athos -both cheaper and cleaner rooms!!! I do NOT RECOMMEND this boarding house! THE REST IS RUINED. The administration does not control the work of the maids!

The Kolkhida Boarding House is a peculiar journey into the Soviet past. We went there for a week at the end of September 2023 without illusions and claims, so there were no disappointments, and nature compensated for everything with a vengeance. We lived in a PC room without repair on the 6th floor with a view of the sea and the bridge to the elevator. Furniture from the distant past, but everything you needed was available: two beds with bedside tables, a table, a TV, a built-in wardrobe, two ottomans, air conditioning, a refrigerator. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. There is soap and toilet paper, 3 towels for each. You can dry things on the loggia. There is a kettle on the floor, there is an iron with ironing board, a hairdryer at the reception. The food for me was monotonous. The portions are large. The waitresses are kind. The reception staff too. The way to the beach by elevator is 7 minutes. The boarding house does not have its own beach, they used a public one with paid sun beds and umbrellas. Will we, spoiled by modern comfort and service, come to Colchis again? Perhaps. You should look for such views from the windows and surroundings!

An excellent early booking offer (in winter) for the price of 4 people was made to us by a travel agent at the Kolkhida boarding house. We've read a lot of reviews, both good and bad. A decision was made in favor of the boarding house on the following points: 1. The food is comprehensive, not a buffet. It is very, very convenient. 2. Location. 3. Types. 4. The price. I was very worried, because people would write about Colchis and Abkhazia in general. In advance, I was not afraid of such points as the age of the boarding house and the quality of repairs in the room, since Abkhazia was chosen by me for the soul beyond the clear turquoise sea and incredible mountains, as well as nature in general..in fact: a room with a balcony and air conditioning, an old USSR renovation, but everything is very clean. A set of towels, cleaning was every day, toilet paper, soap. Bathroom - toilet and shower. There is a rope and clothespins on the balcony, a table and two chairs. The balcony is very big. They fixed a table for us in the dining room and we ate at the same table for the whole vacation, everything will be brought, set, no queues, like a buffet. They cook simply, tasty, and satisfying. We were fine with the digestive tract. The territory of the hotel is large and picturesque, cozy. The descent to the sea is either an elevator to the subway, or a staircase through the hotel territory. The time limit is 5 minutes. For me, an air-conditioned room with a balcony is much more important, and even if it is in an old repair, but it is cheaper than if there is a super repair everywhere, which in fact is not needed from the word at all, because in fact there is very little in the room, because you are either on an excursion or at sea. Abkhazia is a country of the soul, and there is something to see there. Thanks to all the staff of this boarding house! I'll come if I have to. I will show you the photos that were taken on the territory of the boarding house. And yet, there are two shops and a bar on the territory, it is very convenient. The beach is clean in this area, the promenade is gorgeous.

It was my wife's 47th country just for her birthday. And we liked it. A ticket for a week cost 32 rubles, including flights to Sochi and back, accommodation and one meal a day. The border is translated very easily - we arrived late in the evening, took a taxi to the border for 500 rubles and quietly crossed it on foot - very easy and even funny, after the border we went to have a snack in a cafe and the cafe owner called a taxi driver, he took us to Colchis (not far to go). The room was normal, the food was delicious - like in a good boarding house during the USSR. The staff is benevolent - an example - a bottle of Chegem wine was put in the room for my wife's birthday, which she was just thinking of buying in the city that day, but did not want to carry it - and did not admit who gave the wine - it turned out that the administrator. Downstairs in Colchis there is a good cafe on the street, where we sat late in the evening, quite culturally, delicious ice cream, wine - by the way, we drank quite decent wine everywhere. Descent to the sea by elevator, walk for a few minutes through the green zone - there is an underground passage under the road, behind it there are greenery and an embankment, the beach is pebbly, empty, there is no garbage, there is a wonderful cafe on the beach, where during periods when you had to work remotely. I worked at the computer in the gazebo, ate, drank, went swimming periodically - great. The SIM card was immediately bought locally, the Internet on it was normal everywhere. There is a beautiful long embankment below, a lot of cafes or kiosks where you can just have a drink) A few minutes on foot is the Gagripsh restaurant, a little further is the Prince of Oldenburg Castle, there is a place to walk. Architecturally interesting old buildings on the mountain where no one lives. Everything is green. We also went on an excursion to Lake Ritsa - I hate excursions, but I liked this one very much - we stopped at many interesting places, started with tasting smoked meat and cheese, then wines of different types from ordinary to 65 degrees, then local bees - they are unusual, do not sting, can touch with hands, waterfalls, etc. For 1200 rubles in total It's worth a trip.

However, by the end of the rest, on June 9, the number of people increased significantly and the portions of food decreased decently. The beautiful territory of the hotel, close to the sea, a gorgeous beach, a minimum of people on the beach, a gorgeous view from the sea of the hotel, but there is one minus. In the room, especially in the evening, soldier beetles, healthy beetles appear, and at the end of the rest, after the rain, huge millipedes began to appear. At first, they thought the bugs appeared from the window, flew in, but it turns out they live in a hotel, under the ceiling, in the wall. They were interested in other vacationers, they are also present, but in smaller numbers. The newest rooms are on the 8th floor. On the 9th floor, the walls are wooden, the attic and therefore there are even more animals than on other floors. By the end of the holiday, we got used to the animals, but this had a significant negative effect on the impression of the hotel. So the hotel has some advantages, near the border, near Gagra, the sea, a gorgeous beach, decent food, the room is cleaned, the garbage is taken out 1 time a day, and bed linen and towels are changed every 5 days. Security is constantly present, you feel safe. There are shops on site with ice cream, fruits, you can buy drinking water, and there are products, but after eating the hotel you are full and do not want anything. Nearby there is a place to walk, an abandoned hotel with many buildings, Oldenburgsky Castle, even in rainy weather there is something to do. Bright greenery, fragrance and aroma are everywhere. Closer to the sea, Primorsky Park, colonnade and many different cafes and restaurants for every taste Constantly bring excursions to this park, and you can constantly walk in it, not go anywhere.
