The Kukcha Mosque, also known as the Sheikh Zainiddin Mosque, is an ancient religious complex in the old part of Tashkent, named for its location in the Kukcha Mahalla. The complex includes the mausoleum of Saint Sheikh Zainiddin, built at the end of the 14th century by order of Amir Temur, and the mosque itself, which is a popular pilgrimage destination. In 2011, the mosque was reconstructed using traditional Islamic art techniques.
